Apartments with private baths and kitchenettes are also available. The staff is some of the best in Metairie, they're always available to help with any level of services our residents need. We can assist with medical reminders to designing exercise programs and scheduling entertainment events. We designed the dining area at Serenity Senior Residence to be a cozy, home style setting for our residents and family members. Our specialty is customized menus that provide delicious, home cooked meals that meet the needs of all residents.

A Place For Mom
My dad has been at Serenity since March 24, 2019. The facility has 10 residents but only three are able to communicate, one being my dad. They are very easy to work with and will do pretty much anything you ask them. The food is OK at best, no chefs working there. But they are very accommodating and will fix him something other than what's on the menu if he doesn't want what they're serving. They do no activities, TV is it. In addition to the $3400 monthly fee they charge $275 a month to administer his medications with me filling the pill cases. Overall we are pleased.

The owners and the staff do a great job in taking care of their elderly patients (if that is the right word). Both my mother and father in laws came to Serenity several years ago, my father -in -law has since passed, but my mother-in -law is still there as of 12/14/17, and my wife is well-pleased.
