Caring professionals. My grandmother was very well cared for from assisted living to her final rest. Their full nursing care facility was nicer and more peaceful than the hospital. She had a beautiful apartment on arrival, and a beautiful room to leave this life peacefully with caring people around her. We loved joining her for family dinner night and special occasions they hosted. She didn’t go on outings but everyone who did looked like they had fun. Local youth groups would visit for Trick or Treating and Christmas Caroling. They did their best to keep the residents engaged and connected.

We recommend The Willows in Harrodsburg to anyone looking for rehabilitative or long-term care for a loved one. After suffering a stroke, my husband spent 3 months in the Skilled Nursing wing and subsequently transferred to the Assisted Living wing. The standard of care that has been consistently outstanding and attentive. The physical therapy team, as well as the occupational therapists and speech/language therapists, are highly professional, compassionate and encouraging. We are grateful to Leigh Anne and her amazing teams for their continuing efforts on behalf of my husband. The professional nursing team has provided exceptional care for his changing medical needs, and has worked seamlessly with doctors, caregivers and therapists to provide a healing and truly coordinated care environment. Their quick responsiveness to his many needs has been reassuring. The Willows facility itself is inviting with its lofty, vaulted log ceilings and natural light. The homey lodge feel is heightened by several stone fireplaces and cozy seating areas. There are beautifully landscaped grounds, gardens and pleasant patios. Amenities include big screen TV, a pool table, a cozy library and a popular puzzle room. A highly talented Life Enrichment team posts a daily roster of activities designed to boost social interactions, creativity, and cognitive stimulation. Several local churches provide encouraging messages each week. Numerous group outings are offered to the residents for dining out, sightseeing, or shopping adventures. The meals, carefully prepared by the culinary team, are designed to offer nutritional, healthy and tasty options three times a day. Special, themed buffets and weekly “happy hours” afford residents a chance to break from the norm with fun temptations such as taco bars, ice cream socials, or summer cookouts. The overall atmosphere of The Willows is replete with care. All personnel - from the administrative offices to the nurses, caregivers and therapists, to the culinary and housekeeping teams - are committed to The Willow’s mission of demonstrating "a servant's heart" in all interactions with residents and their families. My 71 year old brother is intellectually challenged and normally lives at Stewart Home & School in Frankfort, KY. He has stayed at the Willows on three occasions. Each time, the staff has been welcoming and helped him regain his strength and mobility after a hospitalization. The facility is attractive, clean, and well run. The physical therapists are very skilled and patient. The food is nutritious and quite tasty. This facility is far superior to others I have experienced. I would not hesitate to recommend the Willows to friends and family.

Absolutely love this place, all the staff is amazing. The nurses and aids are wonderful, they took such good care of my mama, I can't say enough good things about them. I highly recommend the willows of harrodsburg.

I cannot even begin to thank each and every person at the Willows at Harrodsburg.The amount of healing growing and advancement they were able to help my dad achieve was nothing short of amazing. From the therapy staff, Nurses ,Aids and the random people we met who worked there EVERYONE was compassionate knowledgeable and made us feel as if we mattered. If your loved one has ever in need of a skilled nursing facility or assisted-living I definitely would look no further in the willows at Harrodsburg.

My mother-in-law has been at the Willows at Harrodsburg in Harrodsburg, KY for nearly 10 months. Since she didn’t want to go there, we are amazed at what a blessing it has been for her and for us. When she first came to the Willows she was placed in the Skilled Nursing area because of her poor physical condition. Under the good care of the nursing staff and physical therapy, her condition slowly improved and 2 1/2 months after arriving she was well enough to be moved to the Personal Care area where she continues to live. I gave the Willows a 5 star rating. That would imply that they are perfect in all areas, but let’s be honest, no place is going to be perfect. To be more accurate, I would give them a 4.9. Now, having said that, I want to be clear that we are very happy to have our loved one at the Willows. She is treated like family by all the staff. And speaking of the staff, (the Executive Director, Administration, Life Enrichment team, Nurses, Caregivers, PT, Dining Services, Housekeeping, and Maintenance) they are all dedicated to the well-being (physical and mental) of every resident at the Willows. They go out of their way every day to provide a facility that will result in the residents being happy, safe, and as healthy as possible. My mother-in-law calls the Willows her home and the staff and residents there her Willows Family. She always tells her visitors how wonderful she is treated by all the staff. The campus is beautiful and very well maintained. If you are looking for a facility for your loved one, I don't feel you can beat the Willows in Harrodsburg. My wife and I never dreamed that The Willows would be such a blessing to her, to us and to our family. I recommend The Willows at Harrodsburg 100%!

So excited to be here, My mother in law got transferred from that this hill to Harrodsburg willows today. So far it has been I wonderful experience, Everything is so nice and really clean. The staff is really nice, friendly and helpful. You can tell that they are understaffed, But it's a brand new location and they're trying to get all the wrinkles ironed out...

Beautiful place everyone is friendly but so under staffed. It may be 20 mins before anyone answers the button to call a nurse. One day we were told we can't come until the dishes in the kitchen are washed. Add more help and it would be a very nice place.
