My mother Regina Caldwell has lived there coming up on ten years.I will testify to the excellent way that assisted living facility has been ran. The food is on par where it should be I've tried it before and my mother likes it overall. The staff Madeline and Jim they are the two head honchos,they are on point and very efficient and knowledgeable in what they set out to accomplish. The housekeeping is great,there is great transportation provided and never seems to be any conflict in getting out parents to much needed doctors appointments. The driver is caring and my mother brags about him all.day long,lol.. Yes its definitely in your best interest to look into Overland Park Place.

My mother-in-law loved living here. The activities are varied, so there is something for everyone. She made friends, and felt so comfortable and secure at Overland Park Place. It was home, and the family was so happy that she enjoyed her life there so much.

Overland Park Place is an excellent choice for senior citizens who don't want the responsibility of a home, but are looking for an active, independent lifestyle. Many of the staff have been at OPP for years and are very friendly and kind and try to accommodate the needs of each individual resident. They recently remodeled all of the common areas and hallways giving the facility a fresh, updated look. A variety of social, educational and religious activities are offered and small pets are welcome. When the weather is nice, residents can often be see out on the back patio visiting or just enjoying the outdoors.

Our experience with OPP has been wonderful. Its a quality place for my Mother to live at a substantial value. While other facilities require as much as a $250k real estate investment, OPP provides a high quality, safe environment that is reasonable for people who live on their pensions. During this pandemic there has not been one reported case thus far (6, 2020), and we attribute that to the measured and serious approach the leadership and staff has taken during these unprecedented times. Also, our kids love to visit with Granny at the Ice cream shop!

My wifes sister moved into Overland Park Place in February. The wonderful staff made the process so easy. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The many and varied activities kept my sister-in-law happy and busy all day. More recently, we are reassured that my sister-in-law, along with the other residents, are being kept safe and all guidelines and precautions are followed. We are so happy we chose Overland Park Place.

During very difficult times, Overland Park Place is working hard to keep residents safe. Hot meals are delivered to apartments on a daily basis. Residents are offered opportunities to use technology to interact with loved ones. This is a difficult time but I feel comfortable that my Mom is safe.

My mother entered the facility but quickly had to leave for rehab. I am very happy, however with the warm and supportive staff, the services, the cleanliness and detail of the building, the ample size of the units, and the quality of the food. They are taking extreme care to keep Covid-19 out of the community and are so far, successful. My mom will be returning in a week or so and we are very pleased. The availability of Interim Health Services on the premises is another strong plus for us. Any needs mom has, short of full assisted living, can be met through this provider.

Our family is very happy with the friendly staff, great food and engaging activities. As the son of a resident, Ive gotten to know most of the staff and they are a great collection of fine, caring and considerate people.

I visited Park Place looking for a home for my Mom. The staff was wonderful and I really liked the space, price and the community. The only reason we did not choose Park Place was it was so far for me to travel to see my Mom. Choose a location closer to where I live and work, but wished Park Place was in Olathe.

My mother lived at OP Place until her passing just recently. The facility and the staff are top notch. We looked at many similar places in the KC area and this was absolutely the best for the money. My mom really liked her apartment, the activities, the meals and the camaraderie. At the end when it was unfortunately time to close her account and move her things out, the directors and staff were very accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend touring this if you are looking to place your parent.

I HAVE LIVED HERE OVER 18 YEARS. SHERRI BOWMAN WAS HERE WHEN IF CAME. OVER THE YEARS I HAVE BEEN VERY IMPRESSED WITH HER ABILITIES. SHE CAN ORGANIZE DINNERS AND PARTIES. ALWAYS HAS A GOOD STAFF OF SERVERS. WHEN WE USED TO HAVE SNOWS SHE WOULD STAY ALL NIGHT WITH SOME OF HER HELPERS TO MAKE SURE WE HAD BREAKFAST. A REAL DEDICATED WORKER.

Overland Park Place is a great, friendly community! The have plenty of activities to choose from and the food is very good. Many of the employees have been there for a number of years which says a lot! Highly recommend!

The staff at Overland Park Place were extremely helpful in counseling our family with the transition of my parents into Independent Living. All residents were gracious and friendly. I am sure a reflection of the care they receive. I only wish that I could move there myself!

I recently moved my father into this facility and we couldnt be happier. It has been very difficult for him to leave his home. To me the big win is he says that he misses home, but he is happy in his new home and feels safe. He loves the food and the activities. The staff has been so warm and welcoming. They really have bent over backwards to help with this transition. He tried the place out first by a 2 week staycation, where they supplied everything for him including a toothbrush. All he had to do was bring some clothes and move in. It was a great way for him to see what it would be like to live there and I believe without that , he would never have agreed to move in. I highly recommend this place.
