Great place, staff was very informative. The manager Chasity Robinson was very caring for my Mom's needs. She kept us up to date with information and resources to help easy our transition not only in the the facility but also at home. We moved Mom into Morningside Place a little over two weeks ago. I cannot say enough about the facility and the staff. Fantastic! Chasity was amazing. She talked us through the details and took a personal interest in Mom's situation and the entire family's circumstances, for that matter. Additionally, the staff walks the walk to protect, engage, and care for our mom. We are so thankful for the kind and caring environment that the entire team has brought to our mother

My father was a resident at Morningside Place for the last few years until his death last week. Until the pandemic, I visited there almost every day. All the staff were invariably kind, caring, and respectful to the residents, as well as to me. Ive lost count of the times they bent over backwards to meet my dads needs or to fullfil a request from me. Even when the pandemic hit, putting staff in harms way, they continued to heroically provide the same great care to him as well as keep me updated and in the loop. Near the end of his life, they provided invaluable support to help me make the difficult (but absolutely right) decisions about his care. The end of his life was peaceful and pain free, which is what he always wanted, and that was so important to me. Howard, Susie, Karen, Sara, Neosha, Lavalle, Chasity, Irene, Xavier, Erica, and so many others I cant remember all their names, I will be forever grateful for the years of kindness and care you rendered to Dad. We moved my mom into Morningside Place in November of 2019. Chasity was amazing at talking us through the details from cost to expectations to move in. My mom has been very happy at Morningside. The residents are kept engaged and busy every single day with fun activities, parties and outings. Holly is one of the caregivers that has been AMAZING and shares pictures and videos of her with us on a regular basis. It has been such a challenging year for everyone but especially for these caregivers that are trying to keep our loved ones safe, happy and active. Were very appreciative of the love and support they give our mom and the consistent communications they have with us.

I have had the pleasure of working with this community on several dementia-related education, trainings and workshops and can say that they are, unquestionably, one of the best memory care communities in our area! I have seen amazing teamwork from the entire staff. The compassion and respect shown to the residents and their family members has always made them a top choice when I refer a memory care community to somebody. Great team and great care all around!

I can not say enough positive thoughts about Moningside Place. I know my mom, she can be very difficult to deal with.She LOVES her new home.She loves everyone so much that when her children come to visit she only gives us her attention for maybe 15 minutes. Mom has more important things to do, she has her friends to visit with and she has activities to attend. What more can a person want for their elderly parent! How would I feel if everytime I visited she would beg me to stay because she didnt like her new surroundings. I feel so lucky that when my mother could no longer live safely at home, there was room for mom and dad at Moringside Place.Thank goodness the transition happened when it did. Dad died in his sleep one night. When he died, mom was already comfortable in her new home, with lots of people to comfort her.

Morningside Place has been amazing!! We moved my father- in- law from a different facility in town that did nothing to make him comfortable, or find a solution for his hearing aids. By the time he got to Morningside, the family was really worried about him but within a few days of staying with the incredible staff, and after a few amazing visits, our family could tell he was doing so much better!! He was more clear and the staff even found and purchased head phones for my father-in-law to be able to hear better. He was able to hear his wife for the first time in months!! This virus has made things so much harder but Morningside has gone out of their way to be sure our family connection stays strong. Thank you to Chasity, Howard and all the staff for making my father-in-law more comfortable and helping him improve so much!!

Chasity and Howard moved mountains to (almost) help my mom move in. They were kind and caring. I thought that the facility sounded wonderful. Due to the pandemic, I was unable to tour the facility first hand, however, Chasity and Howard were very generous with their time and answering questions. I sincerely appreciate all the help I was given when I was looking into their facility for my mom. Unfortunately this facility didnt work out for mom, nonetheless, the folks I spoke with were wonderful.

My brother stayed at Morningside for about a year until he was able to reach his placing at one of the VA nursing homes. He felt at home and received good care at Morningside. His dementia caused him trouble with his precious television and the staff made every effort to keep it running so he could watch his beloved sports program. He knew staff by their names and liked them all. They were so patient and helpful to him and I loved the way they cared for him.
