The Memory care Unit is Awesome.. I would hope someday I'd have such a awesome place and awesome staff like here in Memory Care.. I come 4 days a week and the place is clean and smells so good. The staff are top notch and care about the residents. What I think speaks volumes are the patients are happy and smiling. The patients are clean and well cared for.

6 month Update:Memory Care Unit: I do not know how to explain my happiness and the peace of mind I have knowing my mom is exceptionally taken care of. I am visiting her often and have noticed the change in her, she is happy now. She has blossomed and instead of being upset all the time she is lighthearted and FUNNY!!!! She loves to sing and dance, she never did this in other residences. I see the way the staff truly cares for the residents. I can’t help but be an advocate for the memory care unit. The facility is nice, staff is the best, the food looks good every meal, the rooms are just right, and the price is great (especially for the care received). IF YOU WANT THE BEST PLACE FOR YOUR LOVED ONE AND A PEACE OF MIND WITH THEIR CARE THEN LOOK NO FURTHER. COME CHECK IT OUT AND SEE FOR YOURSELF. FIRST REVIEW: mid September 2022 was move in. My mom has been in quite a few assisted living homes, one was memory care. I really love this memory care home. I think it’s great, the staff is friendly, kind, and always there to answer any questions I have (there have been quite a few.) I watch the staff with the other residents, they are so caring. Things may have been different before the new Executive Director came on, hence the bad reviews. IGNORE BAD REVIEWS AS THINGS HAVE CHANGED, come see the place for yourself! I am more than happy that I found the perfect place for my mother.

A new Director was hired by the name of Lacey Hunter in 2014 to replace an absolutely corrupt lunatic named MJ Berg. The result was to get rid of most the staff & send many of the residents who had Alzheimer's to other facilities as they were assaulting the other residents. Midwest has a long history of corrupt nurses & Directors who think of the residents as cattle to house for as much $$$ as possible. Lacey Hunter was the best Director Stoneybrook Assisted LIving ever had & she left it a better place a year & a half later. I would never put anyone I loved in this facility for any reason.

I would highly recommend this assisted living to anyone looking to find a new home. The staff are kind, compassionate, attentive, and very welcoming. Not only do they take care of the residents but they make sure family is up to date on the care being provided. The new executive director makes sure that the best possible care is being provided to all who live there.

Dirty room never cleaned, brothers clothes lost, always filthy, didn't have water available to drink, pt and ot barely done.
