When looking for a place for my sister, I was pleasantly surprised by Sunrise. Very clean, happy atmosphere, friendly, professional and personable. Loved the idea that assisted living was on the first floor which made a good impression upon entering. Looked like a lot of activities and great menu. I would go there myself!

If you are needing an assisted living place that is loving and caring and will treat you like family you should consider Sunrise of Lenexa. My wife and I have been married 54 years and due to her brain cancer we could no longer live together at home. Our home became Sunrise of Lenexa and our time there was sweet and we are thankful for the extended friends there that are like family now and we thank the leadership and staff at Sunrise of Lenexa for making the difference.

This is the ideal place for my husband. It is only a block from our house. Sunrise is quiet, yet has lots of things to do. The decorator has done a wonderful job; It has a nice homey feel. I would be very comfortable having him stay there.

The care at this community is excellent. We like the staff who caring and attentive. We like the excellent menu of the meals that were better then any restaurant. They offer a list of activities for the residents. We like everything that this community offers. Families might want to consider this community for the care of a loved one.

We toured this community for care. We liked the staff and the director who was helpful. We did not like the location of this community due to being in a busy area of traffic. We did not feel that it would be safe. We would recommend that other families tour this community to see if this location is good for them.

I toured many communities along with this one and it all really came down to where my aunt could afford to live. This place was beautiful, very clean and well maintained. Everyone was very professional and the staff was interactive well with the residents.

The staff at the Sunrise of Lenexa is amazing. The community is small, so they are able to give more one on one attention. We know all of the staff by their first name. The place is kept very clean and the meals are prepared correctly, the taste is more of a personal preference. My mother is happy and comfortable here, we would recommend them to anyone.
