From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by not just the staff but the residents as well. Mom’s needs have been met and she’s comfortable and safe. Having a 24 concierge has been a blessing as well so if there’s an issue at night, mom can inquire at the front desk to answer any questions or concerns she may have.

We loved our experience with Garden Villas. My Mom had the perfect room. It was a beautiful building. My Mom loved the activities (especially bingo). Sadly, she recently had to move to a facility offering a higher level of services. We were very sorry to leave. The director, Mark, could not have been more helpful with his advice. Check it out!!

We've only been living here for a short time. But, so far, the apartment is comfortable, the food is wonderful, the people are fun, and the pool is enchanting with its waterfall and lights from the two story windows. We're really loving it!

My 97 year old mom was a resident in the Independent community for about 6 years. She enjoyed her time there very much. The staff is fantastic. There is always someone at the front desk who is friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious. It has been an ideal spot for my mom to spend this season of her life. I am very appreciative of the staff there. Also, the residents are wonderful friendly people!!! Mark, the director, will go out of his way to find solutions and make seemingly impossible situations work out. He is a very nice, caring person! Thank you to the staff and residents that made my mom's time there so special.

The transition to independent living can be a big adjustment, but the staff here has made it much easier for my mother. Every team member we encounter is incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful. I’ve also been very impressed with the director, who is not only accessible but remarkably patient with all our questions. It’s a relief to see that when issues do arise, they are addressed promptly and with care.

Our tour was informative and enjoyable. Mark and Julia were very knowledgeable and so positive about working with the elderly and keeping residents as independent as possible. We are anxious for our family nember to move in and begin experiencing all the activities Garden Villas offers.... and that's an amazing list everyday. We feel lucky that a two bedroom was available and it seemed so perfect for our family member.

I was really impressed with the facility and appreciate the opportunity to tour. Everyone was warm and welcoming and it was apparent that residents are happy. The rooms are large and everything was clean and cared for.

When it became apparent that it was not feasible to stay in our home after my husband's dementia diagnosis we started to look for a retirement community where my husband would be safe and we would thrive. After several months of searching it became apparent that Garden Villas of Lenexa was the place for us. The administrator was kind and helpful and went out of his way to find us just the right apartment in independent living. We had a large dog and the administrator Mark was so accommodating. We immediately felt at home. We have lived here for almost a year now and are fully ensconced in this small, intimate community . Mark continues to listen to our needs and honor any requests as best he can. You will never be bored here as there is always a daily activity planned for any of the residents who choose to participate. The activities director is always busy planning the next outing or holiday event and they never disappoint! If you are looking for a smaller retirement community with friendly residents and wonderful staff consider Garden Villas of Lenexa. You won't be sorry!

We want to express our thankfulness and appreciation to the administration and staff of Garden Villa Of Lenexa. We found the caregivers and extended staff to be very kind and helpful. Also, of note, we found the residence of Garden Villa to be friendly and pleasant to be around. Another positive point is the monthly resident council meeting. My dad lived here for a few months before he decided to move across the country to be closer to us. The staff were very nice and easy going. He quite enjoyed the BINGO and food. His space was a great value for the price. We would recommend this place to others.

Garden Villas has to be seen to believed. I toured 3 places in KS and 2 in MO.; Garden Villas was the by far best. The grounds are as promised, surrounded by a lush, well cared for garden. When you step into the lobby, you are greeted by the colorful , well decorated interior- and Kayla! And it is so clean! Actually clean, there is no anti - sceptic cleaner smell in any of the public areas. The is a swimming pool and a hot tub, and those were also very clean. The director, Mark, was happy to introduce us to everyone. We met Andrea, the director or nursing, who assessed Mom casually as she was talking to her. This kind of work, caring for people as they get older, is a calling. The people at Garden Villas, from the cleaning staff to the Director, have come together to provide a safe, clean and nurturing environment to get older in. My brother and I- both 60-something -wanted to move in.

First let me say "Highly Recommended" Five Star all the way! Gave up my OP Condo several years ago. Decided Independent Living was a good fit. I didn't realize at the time that finding that perfect community was going to be so challenging. Garden Villas of Lenexa is my third residence, and now let me say unequivocally "I'm Home!". The Villas leave nothing to be desired. Beautiful, impeccably cared for grounds and facility are just the icing on the cake. The real stars are the people. Both residents and staff are only "The Best". The Staff, It starts at the top. Mark, Camille, and Amber the "A" Team. They bring the utmost in professionalism and care to the table. But more importantly.... They bring a loving family atmosphere to the table. Their leadership takes that same caring and love to the entire staff. All are there to help at any time, and for any reason. More like a luxury resort than a retirement community. Make the move, you won't be sorry.

Almost 6 years ago my sister needed an assisted living facility. Garden Villas was one of the top facilities on our list, because of location being so close to family. The Administrator and head nurse that were there when she first moved in were outstanding, and felt they did a great job communicating with me whenever needed. The love and compassion of the full time aid Flo, that cared for my sister the most, was first rate. They don’t come any finer than Flo, and we are forever grateful having her as one of my sisters caretakers. When the new Administrator, Mark came in to take over Ann’s position, I instantly felt his warmth and compassion with every call and challenge I experienced with my sister, and always reminding me he was available anytime I needed him. The head nurse Andrea and I also had a wonderful rapport till the very last day of my sisters life at Garden Villas. Her time and patience with me was above and beyond my expectations. Thank you ALL again for your love and compassion you gave my sister and I during this journey..

We recently moved my parents from Shawnee into The Villas Retirement community. Although it was tough on them emotionally to transition to a new home after 50 years of living in Shawnee, Mark, the Administrative Director, and his staff made it seamless, positive and helped us so much along the way. My father’s health declined due to his diabetes and over one weekend he had a significant infection in his foot. The caring and compassionate nursing staff literally saved his life. They were able to get him immediate care, antibiotics, and assist, a with ALL of his needs - going above and beyond over a holiday weekend. If there were 10 stars to leave, I would leave them for this community. Every interaction has been so positive and you can tell the staff not only love their job, but they love their residents. I highly recommend The Villas to any family looking for the level of care needed to keep their parents safe, happy and healthy. The residents at Garden Villas are wonderful. The staff is very caring and the DON Nurse, Andrea is excellent. Camille is the outreach coordinator and has a true purpose to help families in need find their new home. The Activities Director Sandra is very caring and amazing at her job. More importantly, the facilities director, Mark Sutton is attentive, tactful, fair, and a true problem solver for the residents. I recommend highly Garden Villas for your loved ones.

Outstanding retirement community, super helpful and friendly workers and staff . Safe and clean environment. Great food and fun activities for the residents. Very caring and competent nursing staff. My mom was a resident in Assisted Living for 3 years before we moved to Florida in 7/22. Dad needed to be in a nursing home and went into Delmar Gardens. They are attached to Garden Villas. Mom decided to be near him for the last year of his life. The staff at Garden Villas helped make this difficult transition much easier for mom. They are compassionate and caring in their work. The meals were good and there are plenty of activities to keep you engaged. Mom loved the people there and made many dear friends as well. Do consider Garden Villas if you need a long term care facility for your loved one. They're a great match.

My parents moved from there home of 50 years in Wichita to Garden Villas in Lenexa. This quickly became there home and there church family. Residents and staff have welcomed them and the rest of our family. My dad is now alone and 99 years old. The facility makes an effort to include the families and I have become a regular volunteer in the activities department. Most recently I found that I needed a new hip and as I limped around several of the ladies stopped me in the hall and gave me a walker which made my life soooo much easier. One resident has offered to remind my dad of activities if I’m not here and one of the staff offered to pick up his meals and deliver them if he couldn’t make it to dinner. The staff and residents make this a family with everyone looking out for each other. I see grandkids having there birthday parties at the pool or hunting Easter eggs in the courtyard and know this would not happen anyplace else.

My husband and I became residents of the Garden Villas of Lenexa in June of 2019. We had both been hospitalized from our home of 30+ years in Overland Park and never returned. The enormous task of our transition was left to our two sons and their wives, and they have become our heroes. Another chapter ... another venue. Change is difficult, and a process. We are now at home in our lovely apartment, grateful and loving every moment. The staff here is truly professional, caring, loving, and in our opinion without peer. We are so grateful. I personally believe one of the greatest amenities of the Gardens is the personal access of each unit to its own patio or balcony. We have maybe the best view of all from our floor to ceiling windows in our balcony door with the most amazing canvas of an ever changing sky. God’s in his heavens, all’s right with the world
