We researched many skilled nursing facilities and were impressed with Neuvant House the minute we walked in! We recently moved my sister into the West Building and the move-in went off without a hitch. From Cosmas, the administrator, to the nursing staff, maintenance workers, activity personnel, food service workers, etc., we could not be more comfortable with our decision. We look forward to watching her thrive there! Thank you for your dedication to our elderly and disabled population. They are treated with kindness, respect, and professionalism! Neuvant House has been such a blessing for our family. The facility is beautiful, with spacious areas for the residents to congregate, streaming light through the many windows, and clean, large rooms for the residents. The staff is amazing; they are competent, caring, and treat residents as if they are family. They plan activities to keep the residents active, and, most importantly, they treat each person with the dignity and respect they deserve. Cosmas is a fabulous director, and it is clear why he has won many awards and accolades. The nursing staff, led by Brittany and Aaron, are highly qualified, competent, and caring. Knowing that the three of them are in charge brings our family great peace of mind and comfort. We had experience with another memory care facility and can confidently say that Neuvant House offers far superior care. Our loved one spent his entire professional life developing and evaluating living environments for dependent adults that are ethical, humane, and of the highest quality. We are sure he would give Neuvant House his stamp of approval as we do. Thank you Neuvant House for taking such incredible care of our loved one.

I first became aware of Neuvant House in 2013. My little dog Toto and I were VNA Hospice Volunteers at what is now Neuvant House West. It was the only building at that time and we visited the residents. Toto did tricks and the residents fed him treats. Everyone was happy! That was when I first met Cosmas Saina. His compassion and empathy for the residents was obvious. I was impressed with the facility and really liked the fact that it was small, so there was a family, not institutional feel. It was nice, neat, and clean, the staff were attentive, and the residents were obviously well cared for. Fast forward to 2020 in the middle of a pandemic. Suddenly I needed immediate, new living arrangements for my mother-in-law, whose health had abruptly declined. I called Neuvant House, made an appointment to visit the facility (which now had two houses) and was happy to discover that Cosmas was still there. I was fortunate that I could place my mother-in-law there right away in Neuvant House East. Unfortunately, due to ill health, she only lived a few months, but those months at Newvant House East were wonderful for her. She had excellent care, the staff were always compassionate and helpful, and my husband and I were very happy about that decision. In 2022, I was faced with the challenge of finding assisted living for my husband. The obvious choice was Neuvant House. Once again, I called to make an appointment and was delighted to find that Cosmas was still there and was now the Administrator. I was able to place my husband at Neuvant House East, where he lived for nearly a year. Although his health slowly declined, I never worried about his care. Many of the same staff from my mother-in-law's time there, were still on board. Those I didn't know have the same kind of caring, professional, and compassionate approach to the residents. Although I worried about my husband and his future, I never had to worry that he wasn't getting the kind of time and attention, in a safe, clean, and supportive environment, that I wanted him to have. I can't say enough good things about Neuvant House. I think it is a wonderful facility and Cosmas Saina leads a great team who mirror his compassion, professionalism, and ability to provide a good quality of life for a population who desperately need that but are unable to do it for themselves. I am grateful it exists and I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking to find a good, professional, caring, family home atmosphere for an ailing friend, or family.

There are not enough words to express the care and love my Dad received from the staff & management team at the Neuvant House of Lawrence. While my Dad, Larry, was only there for a short time before he passed, knowing that he was in such good hands was a comfort to our family. Neuvant House was so very helpful to our family working with us over the memorial day weekend to get my Dad moved in within a few days. You will always have our gratitude and recommendation.

My mother had a short stay at Neuvant for physical therapy and to be monitored while making medication changes. Everyone from administrative, nursing, therapist to the chefs were so kind, personable and compassionate. She even told me upon discharge if she ever needs extra care again, she knows where she will be and how comfortable she will be with that transition back to Neuvant House.

I've had experience with several different facilities but found Neuvant House to be the perfect place for my husband to be cared for when I could no longer have him at home. The staff understands the effects of Alzheimer's very well and always have a positive way to deal with situations so the residents feel respected and listened to. My husband had young onset Alzheimer's so in the beginning was still very active and wanted to be busy. The activities director went out of her way to find the right activities that he would be interested in. When he became restless they took him for walks around the neighborhood or drives in the car to get a milkshake. They looked at him as an individual and not just one of the group. It was fun to see all the events that were planned, from theme parties to fashion shows, to live music performed on a regular basis. It warmed my heart to see how the residents eyes lit up and they started dancing to the music. I loved that. If ever I had a question or concern, Cosmas and Brittany were very receptive and immediately responded to me. Neuvant House felt like a family. My husband passed away in November. During his last week the staff were very comforting and went out of their way to see that we had everything we needed. I still miss my visits with the wonderful staff.

My experience with Neuvant House goes back to December 2017 when my dear friends were first settled in the assisted living (East House) building. Carol and Michael were dealing with two major health emergencies--he with physical deterioration and she with dementia. Michael had a little over 3 months with Carol and their two cats at Neuvant, but the care and concern shown by the staff were an early indication of how good the care Carol would receive for the next 5 years. Neuvant was very accommodating and allowed the cats to stay with Carol when Michael passed away in April 2018. Now Carol has passed and I can only thank the Neuvant staff for their individualized care. It is truly a family atmosphere for the residents and their extended families. Staff are professional and understanding. I had only brief contact with other similiar facitlites in the metro Kansas City area, and can honestly say that Neuvant House of Lawrence is the best I have found.

My wife and I are so thankful that we chose Neuvant House as the place for my mother to spend her last years. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the small number of occupants creates a home-like atmosphere. They took such good care of mother. The food was good, the room was kept clean. Her medical and daily needs were always promptly and professionally met. But best of all, they grew to love mother and cared for her like she were a part of their own family. We feel so fortunate to have found Neuvant House for the care of our parents. Our first visit was very comfortable and full of information. The staff and residents were so welcoming. The interior décor is beautiful and the house is extremely clean and does not look like a nursing care community at all. The patio is great for family gatherings with a BBQ grill, umbrellas and comfortable seating for all. All nursing, admin, activity and kitchen staff are equally empathetic, compassionate, knowledgeable and trained in the care of dementia and other neurological disorders. They not only work with the residents, but with the families as well, to provide the optimal care possible for their loved ones. Our parents have been married 71 years. They lived at East House until our dad required more care. We decided it was best to move him to West House, where he received the increased level of care he needed. The staff made sure he and mom still ate lunch together and spent some afternoon time together. The staff went above and beyond to continue fostering their love story. Sadly, our fathers health progressed to the point he required hospice care. The care and attention he and our family received during this time from staff was so tender and caring. They all loved our dad, his wit and his stories. They are all very dear to us. We really appreciate the level of care, commitment, and love from the staff. Thank you, Neuvant House, for allowing Mom to call this her home.

I want to thank and recognize the Owners and more importantly the Staff of Neuvant House in Lawrence Kansas for outstanding service and personal care given to my father for the last two years (since Oct 8, 2018). The management of each residents everyday needs is uniquely customized to give the most flexibility possible to each individual. This helps to avoid the stress that ensues when residence are forced to adhere to ridged schedules that they no longer understand. The family caregivers are also afforded a number of access opportunities and shared activities with their loved one in residence. Even with the current Pandemic raging, with careful monitoring and individualized attention caregivers can continue to safely share time with their in house loved one. The leadership and the care that the staff provides continues to be a source of pride and comfort to the family caregivers knowing that we have provided the best opportunity for a happy lifestyle under this trying stage of each residents life.
