I arrived 2 days, unexpectedly, after the readmittance of my sister to Healthcare Resort, from hospital, to find my sister laying in disarray, flat in bed, with hospital gown half off. I have photos. The next morning she was dressed, sitting in her wheelchair. Possibly my presence was influential. I want to commend speech therapist Stephanie, occupation therapist,Tiffany, and especially nurse Brittany for their excellent care. I would like to thank nurse Teresa on being so attentive, proactive and communicating with me by phone. Marsha in the dining room was very accimmodating.

I have worked at the Healthcare Resort of KCK for a little under a year now. I can honestly say that the staff whole-heartedly cares about the residents who are here for both long term care and rehab stays. Love being apart of this team.

Worse place To put a loved one because she didn't have her teeth they refused to feed her I had to go ask for something to eat or not give her medication or help her drink. They don't have a clue what they're doing don't ever send a loved one there

I just finished my stay at The Healthcare Resort of Kansas City. Everybody was pleasant and took good care of me. The staff is all very attentive. The food is good. The facility is clean and well kept. Im very happy with the therapy services. I plan on returning for outpatient therapy once Im home. If you have to be in a place like this, this is the one to be in. I will absolutely recommend this place to family and friends.

I just finished my rehab stay here. My therapy was super great! They are excellent. They have personality, experience, knowledge, and they all really seem to get along. I would certainly recommend this place to family or friends and I will definitely be returning here if I ever need rehab again.

The staff is very hands on and friendly here. They are always helpful when I ask for something. They listen to my ideas about how things could be better. Even if it is something small or minor. I enjoy partaking in the activities they have going on here on a daily basis. They even provide one on one activities like reading to me!

My mother spent 3 weeks at the Healthcare Resort of KC after a week in the hospital. On admit she was weak, needed help with most everything. She had been in the building less than 2 hours and had a shower, shampoo and was tucked in bed. The Therapy staff was outstanding and I cant say enough about the nursing staff that cared for her. She felt the care was wonderful and I couldnt have been happier with the care she received.

There is an employee by the name of Meagan on the rehab side that is the most caring person a facility could have. If it wasnt for her the patients would be ignored. She takes her job seriously and I feel she ought to be commended for it. Thanks you

I like just about everything about this facility. Everyone here is good to me! The nurses take good care of me and the therapists work with me to get me stronger. I really enjoy being here and partaking in the daily activities, especially Bingo!

I really enjoyed my stay here at the Healthcare Resort of Kansas City. I have never met such a nice group of people. Not just one stood out, they were all nice! Any time you ask for help, there is always some one there to help you. The facility is very clean and up to date. There is always something positive going on here whether its activities or staff involvement. The rehab gym is great! I loved all my time spent in there and look forward to continue my rehab on an outpatient basis. The outside areas are well kept and very enjoyable to window watch, or sit out there and enjoy the peace and nature.

The Healthcare Resort of Kansas City came highly recommended to me for the rehab department having a wonderful reputation by the case manager at the hospital. I couldnt agree more! And the department is more than that! The therapists were all very kind. They encourage you to keep going, but not beyond your limits. Prior to coming to the Resort, I wasnt walking at home. They made me a believer that I could walk with a walker, and that I could sit on the edge of the bed without a tremendous amount of pain. I will be leaving here knowing that I can continue to do these things at home and stay believing in myself!

Facility is clean, nice people, and any outside resources that come in are very nice to everyone. Lots of church services, activities like singing, and outings. I love music so I really enjoy those activities. My favorite part about the facility is the atmosphere of this place! I feel like Ive made friends while being here, some of which will continue on for the rest of my life. I feel like Im heard here when I do have questions or concerns, and they take care of them right away!

This place is wonderful! My daughter picked out this facility for me, and she picked out a good one. They let my dog come visit me while Im here, the staff is all friendly and takes good care of me, and I love all the activities that go on during the day. I would definitely come back to this place.

This facility was great. The nursing staff is phenomenal. They were very kind and took they time providing care. They took great care of me! The therapy team is outstanding! I havent used my right leg in years, and now, Im able to move it better than ever. While Im ready to go home, Im very pleased with my stay here.

The facility is real nice. I enjoyed the therapy. I really like the therapists who were taking care of me and they helped me get better. The nurses were attentive to my needs and took great care of me. If I ever had to come back for more rehab I would absolutely return to this facility.

My stay has just been like a fantastic vacation. Its very comfortable in my room. Im cold by nature and have been able to stay warm with access to my own heater. The nurses are super! They stop by often to see if I need anything or how Im doing. The food is great too and I really enjoy my walk to and from the dining room. I love to play Bingo! I just cant say enough nice things about this place. Its unbelievably quiet here, especially at night. Its a great place to rest and relax. Its been a delightful experience.

Alex in activities is the best of the best. The way she handles the residents is incredible and her willingness to help others is second to none. Alex is also very skilled at teaching the residents many different crafts and activities and she always has that beautiful smile showing. I would like to suggest some special recognition for her for being such a great employee.

I like going to therapy because they helped me get stronger so I can go home. I really liked my therapist Cassie! I really enjoyed the activities they had available to me, esepecially the Bible study group. I enjoyed getting to know the nursing staff as they were taking care of me. I think this facility is run really well. Its beautiful and everyone is very nice!

Everyone did a fine job. I needed to get my strength back so I could go home and take care of my wife. The therapists worked me hard and thats just what I needed.

Im going to have to break this down into four parts.Daytime: Everyone is nice. The response time is 5-10 minutes after hitting the call button. Physical therapy is rough but they are all nice as well.Nighttime: Mostly everyone is nice. Night shift only has 2 people for 17 residents. The response time is 20-30 minutes. Not ideal. With a few not to nice nurses.Food: I like how there are many choices for food. The food is surprisingly good. I also like how you can bring outside food in if you dont want the food provided.Overall: The nurses remember major things like medicine, and medical care. The small things such as brushing teeth, self care, getting water at night are often forgotten. You have to keep asking.Also being pet friendly really helps people.I wouldnt mind sending someone here again because the place is nice and colorful and doesnt feel like a rehab place. It feels more like a hotel. Location wise is was close to me. At the same time if there was somewhere better to send someone I would probably send them to that place.

This was a great place for me in all aspects. They make you feel very comfortable and they are interested in getting you back on your feet to live a life at home. Their food was home style and was fantastic. As part of your healing they have activities such as games, art, and a theater for watching movies or television on a large screen TV. The staff always made sure you got what you needed. I thank you all.
