I have enjoyed my year at Park Place. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Melissa Auguston is a GEM. She plans so many fun and interesting activities and crafts for us to participate in. Her sweet nature to all of the residents makes any trip or craft fun. Many of the residents have vision problems and Melissa assists and encourages them all. She is more than a dedicated employee, she makes us feel like her friend. The maintenance crew are "johnny on the spot" to assist with our ne©ds.

My parents have recently moved to Park Place and it has been a wonderful experience from the very beginning. The staff and residents have been extremely welcoming, which made the transition smooth and reassuring. Their apartment is not only beautiful but also spacious, giving them a comfortable place to truly feel at home. It's especially comforting to know they've settled in so well and feel safe in their new community. We're really happy and feel it's a supportive, engaging place for them.

After I had a serious accident and my wife became handicapped, we moved into senior living in The Woodlands, Texas. We spent 4 years there and decided to move to Northwest Indiana. We decided on Park Place of St John. This was by far the best choice for us. The apartments are top-of-the-line; large and spacious, well-equipped with up-to-date appliances, and every amenity we had at home. The staff is outstanding, friendly, and meets every need. It is with heavy hearts that we have decide leave Park Place of St John but need to move closer to family. We have made many good friends and thoroughly enjoyed our almost 4 years here. We cannot say enough good things about Park Place of St John.

My Mom has been at Park Place for 3yrs now & I can't think of a better place to live. She has thrived under their care. The nurse in charge of the assisted living section Tracy is AMAZING! She treats my Mom & from what I have seen all patients like they are her own parents. I would definitely recommend Park Place to anyone looking for an assisted living for their loved one.

A sign was posted outside to tour facility. Upon entering and meeting the facility representative the first words spoken was we are private pay not medicaid. What a turn off! There was only one resident visible on the memory care floor sitting with family and no staff. It was a well maintained facility but left us with the questions of why the secure memory floor had the spa/beauty area, physical therapy and laundry which was not shown to us. No other homes or the first floor were shown to us with vague explanations.

I am very happy with Park Place of St John for my mother. She is happy there, she has made a lot of friends, and I know that she is safe. It's a beautiful community, the staff is kind and caring, and my mom has a lot of activities to choose from. I love the Christian community there, and I am completely at ease knowing she is cared for.

My mother has been a resident for 4 years and absolutely loves this facility. The staff is knowledgeable and always willing to help or answer our questions. They show their love for all the residents. The activities are wonderful. Mom has made lots of friends and rarely sits in her apartment. This was the best decision mom made, she is happy and always busy. If you are 2nd guessing whether your loved one will like it, take the leap. This facility is always looking for ways to make their lives fulfilled. The nice part is mom started out living on her own and it gives me peace of mind knowing when the time comes, extra help will be available there without having to move her elsewhere.

Park Place is a wonderful place for seniors! My mother has been there since 2017. She is very happy! Has a group she plays cards with every Saturday. There is a nurse on staff if you need anything. Staff is very attentive. The facility is very well maintained.

I make regular clergy visits here. The residents that I have contact with all have beautiful Apartments, have management that watches over everything, all their needs are met, and the food is very good. Highly recommended

I've seen a lot of nursing homes in my life, and most of them aren't great. Park Place took good care of my mother while she was rehabbing. Nearly everyone on staff is attentive, warm and does their job with a smile.

Park Place is BEAUTIFUL and feels more like a hotel than a senior living community. The staff is friendly, its calm and soothing when you enter and the rooms are light filled and spacious. There are lots of activities if your loved one wants to participate and it truly is a nice place!

My aunt was in rehab here. The therapy was great and very helpful. The CNA care was slow to come when called, unpleasant and lacked compassion. The communication from social services was very negligent.

My mother in law has lived at Park Place for the last 8 months. We moved her from another retirement community to be closer to us. I have nothing but positive things to say about her home. Her apartment is beautiful, spacious, & modern. The entire building is always very clean & inviting. The staff is phenomenal. I am always greeted when I arrive to visit. The decor is right out of a magazine. The food is fantastic & we absolutely love that we are able to go eat with her & the other residents. Everyone is so kind & happy. The amount of activities they offer is beyond our expectations to keep her busy.

My mom has lived at Park Place for 2 years, and my father-in-law lives there as well. All I have is high praise regarding the facility and its staff. The building is beautiful, and always so clean. They decorate it nicely for each changing season. The staff is truly caring and very friendly to both the residents and their families. My mom enjoys the food and the dining room is inviting. The amount of activities they provide is truly incredible. There is always something going on, and with the wide variety they offer, there is something for everyone. The residents can be busy all day long, or they can just relax by the fire, or in their room. The salon for hair and nails is very nice, and the gals there are also very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Park Place. They truly are second to none.

My mom has been at Park Place in the Independent Living section since September of 2019. Her experience there has been nothing short of spectacular. They treat their residents as family and really go above and beyond for them. I have been there almost daily since my mom moved there and has since transitioned into their Catered Living section since its implementation. My mom has had several trips to the hospital and Park Place has always been accommodating with situations when she has returned. The staff has always been beyond friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them if you or someone you know is looking for a place to move to in the senior years of life.

I can't say enough good things about Park Place. From the independent living facility to the hospice facility. We have had such caring and loving help. My Dad just passed away and was in hospice at Park Place. I am so glad he was there. They were very caring and gentle throughout the process. Mom is in Independent Living, and the care she received during the process of Dad's homegoing couldn't have been more special. The facilities are clean and lovely. The staff is so thoughtful and kind. If you want your parents or elderly loved ones to have a great place to live, Park Place is the place to be!

My mother in law moved in shortly after the loss of her husband. It couldn't have been a better move! She is happy and surrounded by people she loves. This group of individuals has formed such a close community. It's great to see mom happy and fulfilled! The staff care about each of their residents. They know them by name and and share concerns for each others lives. Such a comfort. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Go see for yourself!

Park Place of St. John is a FANTASTIC establishment. Their focus on patient center care is truly a wonderful blessing to families and patients/residents. Their staff is 100% down to earth and always willing to help and serve in any capacity they can. Service with a smile! The staff always listens, empathizes,and does their best to deliver a positive result. Through the teamwork of a great staff they work to improve, maintain, and/ or help their patients truly receive the best care. They are very approachable and knowledgeable in their fields and will do what they can to assist love ones at any time. I would STRONGLY recommend Park Place of St. John to anyone who is looking for a love one or for themselves.

The aesthetics of Park Place Health and Wellness Small House are fabulous. The six months my husband has been here there are issues that are yet to be resolved. The water still has to be run for at least 5-10 minutes in the shower, sink, and at the nurses station to get hot water for a shower or bed bath. A serious waste of a natural resource. The two small houses share a nurse so there are often times patients have to wait for nursing assistance or medication because the nurse is at the other house. Running between the two houses is causing turnover of the small house nursing staff. Therefore, there is increased use of agency nurses. As a result, familiarity with the nuances of patients is lost. These concerns have been discussed with the facility's management on several occasions.

know the staff here and they are AMAZING! I have visited and talked to so many residents and their families, both on the Independent Living side of things and in the Skilled Nursing Care side. Everyone is so happy. The place is absolutely beautiful. And you can't find a better place for rehab! I recommend very highly.
