Forest Ridge is truly a gem in our community for seniors. I know several people who live there, and every one of them speaks so highly of their experience. The facility is consistently clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. The staff seems happy and like they genuinely care about the residents. The food is ALWAYS amazing ” not just good for a senior facility, but genuinely delicious and thoughtfully prepared. I wish I could live here, but I'm not old enough! I also appreciate that Forest Ridge stays involved in the community and supports local efforts. It’s reassuring to see a senior living community that cares not only about its residents, but about the broader community as well. I would recommend Forest Ridge to families looking for a welcoming and dependable place for their loved ones.

Senior Living at Forest Ridge has been a Godsend to my mother and my family. From our first meeting with Laura Titara, the Executive Director, we knew that this was the forever home for Mom, who is suffering with mild to moderate Alzheimer's. Laura personally took care of all of us, showing us the apartments, explaining the services, displaying an absolutely incredible understanding of the aspects of aging and some of the effects it can have on people as they age. She understood exactly what was going on with Mom and even what we could expect. She made not only Mother, but my family, feel immediately relieved and at ease. She guided us through the entire process and it only took a couple of weeks from the time we made our first visit, until Mom was comfortably settled in her new home. I could write pages about Forest Ridge and it's staff; they are ALL unbelievably caring, compassionate, attentive, responsive - not only to the residents, but to the families. The setting is beautiful, the apartments exceptional, and the care is amazing. Even the meals are delicious, and the helpings are huge! The true professionalism, coupled with an abundance of true caring, and dare I say, even love, is so much more than we could ever have hoped for. All I can say is if you're looking for an independent living home for yourself or a family member, and have the same fears and trepidations that we did, go visit Laura at Forest Ridge. The facility is a beautiful setting and the rooms are very well laid out. The staff for the residents and the dining room are so friendly and accommodating. I love that my mom is so well taken care and happy she has made such good friends.

My mother moved to Forest Ridge 18 months ago after living independently in her own home. The staff has been extremely welcoming and attentive from day 1. All of her children live far away so we fly in to see her. Each visit we are thrilled to see how management and staff treat her. Very kind and helpful. I visited over Thanksgiving and was able to stay at Forest Ridge in one of their model units. I have to say that I was welcomed and every staff member was kind to me and wanted to be sure I had what I needed. It was a treat to be able to stay there so that I could make the most of my time with my mom. It was delightful to meet the other residents who were all very interested in getting to know me. I am so grateful that I know my Mom is well looked after in a lovely environment.

The team at Senior Living at Forest Ridge really seem to care about their residents. The facility is always clean and provides a warm family environment. It is evident the staff love what they do. I appreciate that they interact with their residents and take time to get to know them. I am always excited to hear about the adventures and activities they plan and how much the residents enjoy them. The facility is a great place that allows it’s residents the ability to maintain independence while receiving the care and support they need. I’m so glad to have this gem in our community.

All of my meals are prepared my laundry is done, hung neatly in the closet and put away. I am taken to all of my medical appointments and have never had a problem. The staff here is absolutely amazing and I cannot believe how helpful and kind everybody is. Moving here is the best decision I've ever made. I highly recommend it to anybody.

My grandmother moved up here back in August of 2023.. This place is amazing! The staff have been super sweet and helpful, while helping her get acclimated Tons of activities for all residents. It’s comforting to know she is always looked after, safe, and having fun!!

Our relative lives here and has for about 2.5 years now. He moved in after a major stroke, when he was actually on the road to recovery. For the first 2 years, he didn't need much in way of offered services. But now that he has been diagnosed with vascular dementia (which is a rapid declining dementia), decisions to increase services have had to be made. We are so very impressed with the resident staff. He is sometimes not an easy man to deal with due to the decline. He can be angry, confused & irritable - classic dementia symptoms. He is paranoid and accuses those who help him most of stealing, etc.Which means the staff -But they are patient and kind with him. We even looked at moving him, feeling he needed more care. The doctor's actually were quite adamant. But what we discovered is between the increase in offered services and our increase in visits that FR is by far the best place for him to be at this time. The staff calls with any medical and behavioral changes, which has been pdaily some weeks. The dining hall is classy. Staff waits completely on residents, creating the restaurant atmosphere needed to make residents feel pampered. Kitchen staff are more than willing to take special orders, when possible. Different size apartments are available. Each resident decorates and makes their place as individual as they like. And as far as cost goes? Everywhere is expensive. It's the staff that makes FR so lovely. They know all the little quirks of each resident in their care and treat them with respect. We highly recommend anyone looking for a place for their loved one to look at Forest Ridge.

My Mother has lived here many years. Highly recommend it. Always clean. Food is consistently good to excellent. Laundry facilities are kept up. Grounds are lovely year round. Some kind of activity daily. Staff is above average. I would be happy living here.

My dad is 95 years old, a World War 2 Veteran and 40% disabled. He doesn't hear well and he doesn't speak clearly. When someone asks him to repeat he raises his voice. I real excited to take my dad to Forest Ridge on Oct. 10th. He had been at the Waters for a month and his insurance ran out. He was assessed while at the Waters and it was determined that Forest Ridge would be a good fit for him. My mother, who is 91 and barely able to care for herself, was pleased with his apartment. When my mother and I left Forest Ridge Monday evening everything seemed to be going well. Tuesday morning Oct. 11, I received a phone call telling me to come and get my dad because he was verbally abusive to the staff. I realize he was raising his voice, but he talks that way frequently. So, I picked up my dad, that morning, and took him home for my mother to take care of him. I was disappointed that more effort was not put into caring for him.
