My mom has recently came to Meadow Lakes for Rehab and she is now a resident in Long Term Care at this facility. The staff has been friendly, helpful and professional. I see how busy they stay caring for all of the residents wants & needs. Special Thanks to 2 ladies in 100 Hall. Meleah 1 of the CNAs went above and beyond for mom on 2 occasions . Meleah isn't normally assigned to room 115. It was mid morning, Meleah answered moms call light. With a smile ,she got mom up, got her toileted and dressed for the day, even combed her hair . I so much appreciate a dedicated Team Player, and thats what I see in this young lady Secondly, everyday that Sarah (tall & wears glasses) is working she Brightens the Unit with her Laugh, smile and bubbly spirit. I watch as she interacts with the residents with genuine compassion and how they light up as she gets closer to them to converse with them or give them a touch on their shoulder or hold their hands as they converse. Or just acknowledge them as she passes. It's apparent that she is there to Make sure Life for the Residents is as comfortable, light hearted and as easy as possible. A true professional in the Healthcare world. Feel Blessed to have mom in Meadow Lakes.

I can’t say enough good things about the staff. They communicate exceptionally well with both patients and their families, making everyone feel informed and supported throughout the entire process. The intake process was simple, organized, and easy to navigate, with guidance provided every step of the way. In just one month, my father has made incredible progress—far beyond what we expected. The regular case management meetings have kept us involved in his care and ensured we always knew his goals and progress. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone with a loved one who needs additional support with physical therapy, rehabilitation, or medication management. The compassionate care, professionalism, and dedication of the staff have made a tremendous difference for our family.

I cannot say enough good things about the Memory Care staff at Meadow Lakes. The nurses, director, and entire team took such amazing care of our loved one all the way until she passed, and we will never forget the kindness they showed our family during such a difficult time. My mom has recently become a resident at the Meadow Lakes facility in Mooresville. From the beginning all of the staff and residents have been very inviting to my mom and tried to make her feel welcome. At 93 things are not always easy for her but see seems to adjusting pretty well. I am very happy with the cleanliness of the entire facility along with her room. My mother is in assisted living in Meadow Lakes Mooresville location The place is always so clean with soft music playing and happy Brittney is just the best She is always smiling and helpful The other workers are wonderful too Angie the nurse works with me to get mom her medicine She is kind and very good at her job People check on mom when she doesn’t come to eat and encourage her to get out and visit and do things with others Overall we feel we made the best choice for mom and she is happy too She is 99 years old and doing well Thank you all at Meadow Lakes

Our family worked with Brittany S. from Meadow Lakes in Mooresville for about two years while we explored options for our family members. She and the staff in the Assisted Living community (which was very nice and clean) were very welcoming and were extremely patient with the roller coaster that comes with making long-term care decisions as a family. This facility didn't end up working due to our family members' current care needs, but we would recommend it to others who are looking for Assisted Living options that offer semi-independent living in the Mooresville area. Brittany was unfailingly patient and kind, and even paid two home visits during the process to make things easier on us and our schedules, and to better understand our situation.

Husband is a resident in skilled care. Staff promptly answers his call lights and cares for him as soon as they can. Management, social services and nursing communicates well. If we have a problem, they are quick to resolve. Glad we made the decision to come to Meadow Lake! Mark and Gay Wells

I guess this place is better than being homeless. It is warm and for the most part clean. The staff is pretty nice to your face. They don't really care for these people at all! The residents sit in the dining room for sometimes 2 hours at a meal. When/if the food they order does come, it is frequently cold and/or uncooked. Frequently, there may be no napkins, no silverware, no coffee, tea or lemonade.... no appropriate sized dishes, no ice cream, no jelly, or even toast, etc., etc. The "dining room" is completely unmanaged. These "residents" sit for hours at a time waiting for their drinks, waiting for their order to be taken, waiting for their food. Many just leave and go back to their rooms without being served. Many are on meds and need their food in order to take them. Complaints go absolutely unanswered but with a smile and a promise. NEVER again would I put someone I cared about in this place and no one I know will either. These "residents" are stuck there and the staff knows it? Where else will the eat? What choices do they have once they have moved in? This is a terrible place.

My husband and I take our kids here every year for Halloween. The staff do a great job coordinating together to get the residents out of their rooms and have them pass out candy to the kids. The residents have a blast doing it! It’s fun for everyone! 🙂 The staff is so nice and helpful!! We’ll be back there again in the future for sure.

My mother was here In their memory care unit, and it was pretty horrible. The staff did the best they could with what they had, I 100% blame the greedy company that owns this place. The unit was small, not very clean, and there was nothing for them to do. They just pushed them out to the small dining room and left them to stare at nothing all day. Staffing was so poor that no one had any time to spend with the residents. Visiting was difficult, As there was no place to have any privacy to visit with my mother. I would not recommend,

Meadow Lakes does a great job with helping my mom in Assisted Living. They are kind and caring. They were able to tell me details about my mom's daily routine since I live far away. They were on time for helping her to the dining room. Angie, the Director of Nursing always answers my questions in a timely manner and is very compassionate. She began a new movement program in the morning which I think is great. The facility is clean and peaceful. I am glad my mom is living at Meadow Lakes!

My mom was brought here after a bad experience at different Rehabilitation center. The staff here is great so far and taking good care of my mom. The staff is very respectful and understanding with her. The cleanliness is above par and you can certainly see the staff does their best. Mom is happy with her care and so is our family.

I needed a place quickly for rehab for my mom. I had heard good things about Meadow Lakes, but you are always worried when it comes to your family and I wanted her to be close to me. From day 1 until the day she left (a little over a month) every staff member we came into contact with was amazing. And mom loved the food. They made sure she was well cared for and I was put to ease. My mom made friends with all the staff members she met and was actually a little sad leaving because she's going to miss them. I highly recommend Meadow Lakes in Mooresville for rehab for your loved ones.

My dad has been there for a couple of weeks now. Carrie Justus and her staff have been amazing. The nurses , CNA’s and physical therapist are all amazing at what they do. I worked with Carrie Justus to set up a respite stay in the memory care unit at Meadow Lakes. She was absolutely amazing! She took my information and ran with it. She was kind and understanding. What a blessing she has been. I also walked through the memory care unit without telling anyone what I was doing. It was so nice. The residents were, for the most part, all out doing activities, the CNA’s and RN were so respectful and caring. The whole place smelled nice. What a great experience.

I was at Meadow Lakes this past Thanksgiving weekend. I want to take a moment to tell everyone what a positive experience it was. The staff was kind and polite. The halls were clean and didn't smell like a nursing home. We often hear negative things about places like this, however not the case this time. Meadow Lakes, continue making a difference!!

My 87 year old mother in law was in rehab for two weeks. She had excellent care. Staff was professional, attentive and really helped her recover to be able to go home. She said she would to Meadowlakes again if necessary.

My mother-in-law is in Meadow Lakes Long Term Care. I don't have any complaints about staffing, but her room and their food are something to complain about. Her room is a shared room. Her roommate has 2/3rds of their shared room. My Mother-in-law is left with this small cubical that is extremely difficult to fit a visit and is tathered and worn! One of her windows doesn't shut completely and the walls are ripped and torn. I would not recommend the long term care unit for anyone! It is hidious! I do have pictures to back up everything I have said. I am so upset that we have had to make this decision for her!

My dad was transferred there for rehab from hospital on July 1st. Within the few hours of his arrival my sister and I were beyond upset with nurse staff and wanted to get our dad out. Dad came in with fractured upper right arm and wearing sling on arm. Two nurses came in to get bedding together while dad on bed and they roll him over on right arm that is fractured. Dad howls out in pain. This would not be the first time that numerous nurses would grab & pull on this arm during his 14 day stay there. Complaints made, nurses told by us arm is fractured and a sister brought in huge neon orange poster board written dad has fractured arm & that he can not stand or walk by himself. It does not help. Nurse tells us she doesn't recommend this place for care, she doesn't like working there and poor communication between nurses. The talk/meeting about when his 'rehab' would start was on Friday July 8th. Seven days after he has been admitted in their rehab care. Also on that day he was considered per nurse "a new patient" and has to be secluded for seven days with door always closed and gowns worn for visits with him. My exclamation was that he is not a new patient! He had been there since July 1st! His rehab was a good fifteen minutes for top 3 days after the 8th. He is not rehashed but back in hospital for original issue before transferring there and when he needs to go to rehab again it will NOT be at this place for sure. Understaffed, doessn't follow directions causing dad pain and miscommunication. I give two stars because he was fed well and he was cleaned up after continually soiling himself in diaper and bed since he couldn't get up. Oh and being there an x-ray found a crack in his shoulder.

My Mother has been at Meadow Lakes since April 2019 in the Memory Care unit. No one ever wants to put a loved on in a nursing home, but when they need 24/7 care some times it is the best thing you can do for them. I am so happy we found Meadow Lakes. It's the people that make the difference there. We have found the staff to be very caring and helpful. My Mother caught COVID and at 90 lived to tell about it. The staff cared for her during her illness and helped us communicate with her given the shut downs and the fact we couldn't visit for a while. My Mother also had some other medical episodes while she has been there and they were quick to discover it and get treatment for her. I feel confident that she is receiving the best care possible. They do regular activities with the memory care patients to keep their minds active and engaged. They have an enclosed courtyard area and plant flowers and tomatoes during the summer. Although my Mother's dementia has progressed over the years and she doesn't interact with the other patients much she seems to enjoy the activities and being outdoors. The office staff has also been very responsive and answers questions regarding finances and insurance in a very timely manner. I am thankful for Meadow Lakes and the staff!

If you can possibly avoid sending any loved ones to this facility, Please, please do! They cannot keep staff, as anyone can flip burgers at McDonald's and make more $. They instead will pay a better wage to the " Agency ", which are folks who come and go, that never really develope any kind of bond with the residents. The food is so bad I wouldn't bait a mousetrap with it. My folks rarely get what they ordered and zero care and imagination goes into the menu. May as well heat up a T.V. dinner, and that would be better than what is served to the residents. The " Agency " staff are thieves!!! My mother has lost so many garments from them doing her laundry, and they will not reimburse for lost clothing. Basically... sorry about your luck! When my folks leave with family, they have had money and jewelry stolen from their room. There is zero locks and no one seems to care, as this has been going on for over 2 years. Grievance mean nothing here. I have personally witnessed residents who had their lights on for way too long and no one comes. My mother, who is paralyzed on 1 side sat on the toilet for well over 15 minutes, in need of a nurse, or care giver just to help her stand. Was good thing I came to visit when I did This place is a disaster and no one gives a fuck, because a life here means nothing. I personally know several CN's and RN's that have worked here. Those folks talk and know each other. The reputation here is known throughout the land amongst reputable staff. I bet if they got paid what you all pay the Agency, they just might stay a while. someone gets rich while these poor folks suffer. Stay far, far away from Meadow Lakes. Anyone from American Senior Communities have the balls to talk to me personally, PLEASE DO!
