Towne Centre is still number 1 in the area for the pricing. Jenni, the marketing director, is fantastic, always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that your stay is at its best. If you compare Towne Centre with Golden Living, Great Lakes, Munster Med Inn, Silver Birch in Hammond, and a few other facilities, Towne Centre wins on all counts. I would highly recommend Towne Centre to anyone; it is clean, and most of the staff are friendly. Sue, the Bus driver, does a fantastic job transporting residents to appointments in a safe and comfortable ride. Liz, the Director of Dietary, is always open to suggestions and is approachable. Carla The Medical Director, is very nice, always pleasant to the residents, and makes sure that all medical issues are up to date. Maintenance, The Director [name removed] is NOT approachable, very rude, and egotistic; the best person to get the maintenance done is Jmar. Jmar is a hard-working individual who will try his best to fix any problem that might come along. The laundry service is free, and it is the best; all clothes are nicely washed and folded, delivered to your door. Towne Centre outweighs its competitors in all aspects.

i visited towne centre just last week to do a walk through and all i can say is the atmosphere was just amazing the staff staff greeted me with kind and all smiles... They were interacting with the residents , i can say it will be a lovely place to bring my love one here. Alot of activites was going on and thats what i liked, along with the nursing staff they were very helpful with all my questions. Talked to the DON also she was very pleasant and helpful

What stands out to me the most about Towne Centre is that the housekeeping is impeccable. You are not hit with the unpleasant smell of urine and bm that I have experienced in some other places. Rather, it is always a pleasant aroma and friendly staff that greet you.

I'm a resident for 3 yrs . I believe the staff is the best. The cleaning and laundry is the best.when you enter the facility it clean and not smelly like other facilities or nursing homes. Everyone is polite , friendly and doesn't look for trouble. We all try to stick together and get rid of the trouble makers. The only thing I dislike is that they changed a couple of meals in dietary and I wish they could go back with serving the eggs how I want them to be for breakfast. Biy I love my friends here.

Towne Centre is a great place to live because the staff genuinely cares about you, and you are well taken care of people are understanding and caring all your care needs are met. It feels like home. The director is wonderful and cares about her residents and genuinely gives her all when it comes to the care. I thought that going into assisted living and traumatizing, but it feels like home here I've been here for three years. If you are facing a decision like this, I'd choose Towne Centre.

I can say that being around Towne Centre has been a wonderful experience. From the beautiful residents to the hard working dedicated employees Towne Centre is a beautiful place to work and live. The nursing staff is professional and courteous as well as knowledgeable. Dietary staff is hard working and pleasant to everyone. Maintenance staff works hard with keeping the building running smoothly. The housekeeping staff is amazing the facility never smells and is always clean. Activities are always planned and include families. All in all Towne Centre staff is very compassionate and professional.

My mom lives at Towne Centre for 6.5 years starting in Independent Living then to Assisted Living and she spent her last few months in Memory Care. Her length of stay speaks volumes to the care for the patient and the relationships with the family. She began as the self appointed greeter for new residents always making sure the attended activities and came down for meals. Her granddaughter has fond memories of stopping by and having a glass of wine with her and her friends. Covid was a difficult time for all, but she maintained a couple close friendships since socializing was so important to her. As her dementia progressed she went to Assisted Living where she received more support and love from the staff. I don't think there was a caregiver they could pass her in the hall without getting a hug. These last few months in Memory Care were hard to watch but with the long term caregivers and even housekeeping staff who knew her the whole time, she still felt love and received excellent care. There were a couple hiccups along the way, but any concerns were addressed immediately. The directors treated our concerns as if she was their mother. The staff coordinated with hospice to make sure she was always clean and attended to and spoke to Miss Mira softly and gently. Even her last day, many stopped by to say good-bye. Watching your mother decline is not easy, but coming in and seeing her busy at work (coloring), seeing her face light up at her caregivers gave our family peace of mind. Big hugs to all the staff who knew and loved her over the years.

It has been an exciting fascinating year now that my mom has been with Towne Center. When my mom first moved in, I was thrilled, in tears of gratefulness to God. I was always concerned about her living on her own and not being able to get to her if something happened. I can honestly say I am ecstatic and have peace about her new living arrangements. She is part of a community of love, support, laughter and surrounded by amazing unique individuals, and has more than we could ever ask. She can walk around freely and safely, embrace the beautiful surroundings indoor and outdoor. She has access to pretty much whatever she needs without any worries. I can confidently say I am so glad that God provided this community that feels like home. I love coming to visit. I love that I can surprise her anytime. I love walking in saying hi to all the people, meeting everyone and enjoying Towne Center's events that they provide for the residents and families… And I love seeing my mom's face shine. She even has a special friend that she can share meals with, talk about anything and keep one another company. It's really adorable. Towne Center reminds me of an old fashion hotel from a movie. Towne Center makes my heart smile, from the workers and all that they do to help provide and care for the upkeep and every single person, and the community of people that bring joy and surprises every day, it truly is remarkable. Towne Center I pray that you all continue to be blessed with favor and all of God's best. Thank you for being a pillar to and for our loved ones.

I was actually surprised to see several very negative reviews. I looked closer and noticed that the reviews were from ex-employees who I suspect have an axe to grind. My brother has been at Towne Centre for over 2 years. We have found the facility to always be clean and orderly, the staff responsive, and my brother is very happy there in assisted living (level 1). Both my brother and his room are always clean. The food is adequate with options for the residents. There are activities during the day (fewer since the pandemic). Like many places, the facility appears to be short staffed BUT we have not seen a dramatic drop in service levels. The employees continue to be pleasant and responsive. We are happy and so grateful for Towne Centre. No place is perfect but this is a solid facility. We have never smelled urine as mentioned by one person, or seen bugs/mice as mentioned by someone else. Bottom line: I would strongly recommend Towne Centre.

My Grandma lived at Towne Centre for almost three years. She thrived, living until she was 98. She loved the live music most of all. They always have planned activities for the residents to enjoy. Covid was a challenge for the staff, but they made the best of it. Comforting residents who missed their families, offering FaceTime visits when needed. When Grandma had to be put on hospice we were very concerned and hesitant in having her at Towne Centre with hospice instead of in a Hospice facility. Our worries there were, she would not get the care and attention she needed. We were mistaken, they were more caring and devoted than we could have imagined. I am so grateful to everyone at Towne Centre for all the love, kindness, support and care my Grandma received. I will miss all the residents, it was fun and interesting to hear all their stories.

Towne Centre is one of those places where there is always the propensity to experience positive emotions and interact with others, with lifes challenges in a positive way. I have worked in the health care field since 2008 and this by far is the best facility i have come across. My comments is solely based off of the care i have witnessed staff render. The staff treats the residents as if they are family and not as if they are a job. I went in to visit today as i have worked for this company in the past and there was that same feeling the moment i walked through those doors. The residents looked happy! The place smelled amazing! This is a place where i would place one of my loved ones, if needed. This is a place where I know my loved one would maintain the highest function while receiving quality care. The bonus is they two of the hardest working directors of nursing Rikki and Alfreida i have ever seen. The whole staff is simply AMAZING! That place deserves 5 stars!

The staff is top notch! Every time I go there to visit, they are always kind, helpful and have smiling faces! I am a guardian for someone that I love very dearly and she has lived there for about 6 months and they are taking excellent care of her. The only thing that we (and many of the others residents) would change, is the food. That is the only reason that I am giving them a 4 out of 5.

Our mom has been here over a year now and we've been quite happy with everything. There are regular scheduled activities, along with other things for residents to do. The food is good, the staff is pleasant and helpful. They just remodeled and everything looks nice and fresh, even though it didn't look bad before. It seems like they are always looking at new services they can add and ways they can improve. I would just like to make one comment on the other lady's post. While I'm sure it was very disconcerting that someone with a high level of dementia got into your grandma's things, I just want to point out that the family of that person is who would make the decision to move them to a higher level of care. I don't think Towne Centre tries to force a decision like that onto families and it is a very difficult decision.

Our mom moved in July 5 and is very happy here. She has made many friends and loves the food. I've had breakfast and dinner with her a few times in the dining room and always find the food delicious and better than what I cook. The management is good however the front desk staff lacks a lot of ability to solve basic problems.
