We’ve only been there a week and everyone there has been wonderful helping my mom feel comfortable and getting acclimated with her new home as well as reaching out to the family and helping us transition into this new way of life. Can’t say enough nice things about two hearts. Moved my mother into assisted-living recently, who has not lived alone in 69 years. The staff there welcomed her and made her feel at home much to our surprise. She is enjoying everything about it. She has enough privacy, but remains social. Added services are outstanding, including getting her hair done once a week which she loves. The facility is clean. The food is great. There’s always staff around to help. Can’t say enough nice things about it. Highly recommend it.

All I can say is WOW! Two Hearts and its staff are a godsend! I was one who vowed never to put my parents in a nursing home, but after our father’s passing, my mother needed so much more than we were able to give her. My brother and I were sadden to have to make this decision; however we knew it was necessary. We got a list of facilities and took a day to look and visit to determine which would be the best fit for our mom. The moment we entered Two Hearts, my brother and I both said this is the one. It was peaceful, clean, happy residents, happy/caring staff. It felt like home. From the first phonecall to inquire about the facility to transitioning her was much easier than I anticipated. All our questions were answered, we were assured that she would well taken care of. They exceeded our expectations. I love that I am able to call/text to check in on her and we get updates and pictures of her. She looks happy. She’s thriving. We have peace of mind knowing she’s in great hands. I feel so fortunate that I found Two Hearts Homes for Seniors. He loves it there. He has a private room and a closet. The food has been very good. The dining room is like an upscale hotel, very pretty. Activities are always going on...from arts to exercises to educational to musical and other entertainment. Holidays are celebrated in style. The staff works very hard, keeping all the areas clean and inviting. Most importantly, the staff responds in a timely manner when needed. Our experience finding an amazing assisted living home has been amazing. I would recommend it to others.

We have been so impressed with Two Hearts from day 1. This isn't your typical assisted living facility - it really does feel like home. And the caretakers are more like extended family than 'employees' at a facility. They genuinely care and take the time to get to know the residents. The place is IMMACULATE - no weird smells or ick in the corners. Like I said, it feel like home. I can say this is a GREAT place for adult daycare if you have a loved one in need. The staff truly cares for all residents and are very helpful. Adult daycare also helps caregivers who are living with loved ones. My mom attended daycare here for a little over a year and now lives at Two Hearts and I feel it made that transition smoother on all of us effected. ’• 2022 This place is great. My mom started as a part time day care resident about 2 months ago. The caretakers are wonderful and very loving and aware of individuals needs. Truthfully I sometimes wonder how we as a family have made it the last few years without them. I just can't say enough about them. The Lowell staff is great. They’re the most caring caregivers in here and I play bingo here with the residence and I love all these residents. My mom moved into Two Hearts after being in two other assisted living facilities. Sadly, for my mom, none of the moves were any fault of hers. The other facilities were adequate, they were clean, friendly staff, no reason to think my mom wasn't being cared for at the minimum. My mom seemed to withdraw, though, not wanting to leave her room, having all of her meals brought to her room, not joining in any activities. It was sad because my mom had always been an extremely social and engaged person. When this last move was imminent, we read up on Two Hearts and of course were impressed by the reviews and the videos. We moved Mom in and waited to see what would happen. In the ten days since her move, she has been coming out to the dining room and eating lunch and supper with the other residents. I even heard a rumor she was playing Bingo and went to a Bible study! On my last visit, it was nearing lunchtime and Mom was not dressed for lunch and at least four times, a staff member popped her head in the door to keep reminding Mom it was getting to be time for lunch!! They don't take NO for an answer!! This was just what we wanted for Mom-not to spend her time looking at the four walls, but to get out and see people, talk to people, have some laughs, use her brain and get some enjoyment out of life!! My sister and I have been so impressed by the facility, the staff and the owners, we are so blessed to have Mom here!

A review for Two Hearts: As our mother, Sarajane, aged, she needed different stages of help. Initially, she moved from her home in which we were all raised to an apartment for seniors near me, to living with my sister during Covid, to living at Two Hearts near my brother, which opened providentially at the precise time when an assisted living facility was needed for her care. We felt like we had personal family care with each new challenge. As mother aged from her 90s to 100, Two Hearts provided social, physical, and personal care beyond what we were capable of providing for her. We felt like we had an extended family through the owners and caretakers at Two Hearts. The three of us are thankful to God for his timing for mother’s care at each stage of life and for the loving care of Two Hearts Assisted Living.

I have only GREAT things to say about Two Hearts Home for Seniors in Lowell, IN. First, the facility itself has such a homey atmosphere. The open atmosphere in the kitchen, dining, and living room areas makes you feel as if you are in someone's home rather than a facility. Residents are treated as family members all sharing one roof. Second, the personalized care given to the residents is superb! Mom has received such loving care from all the caregivers (even though sometimes she is not cooperative). I constantly witness the caregivers helping someone, cooking, cleaning, doing laundry services, etc. I never see them sitting around on cell phones (as I have in other facilities). The love these caregivers give is evident on the faces of each and every resident. Third, the food is hearty, plentiful and has that homemade quality. No cardboard meals here!! Residents dine together along with the caregivers and every meal feels like home. My siblings and I are grateful for the care and dignity our mother is receiving at Two Hearts. We recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality senior care.

My mom has been at Two Hearts for almost a month now. She was in another facility that said they could take care of someone with dementia but in reality did not provide the assistance she needed. I found Two Hearts because I was looking for a place that would give my mom a chance to live her best life before having to go into memory care. And I can tell you this facility is like a home to all the residents. The staff is amazing! No one on their phone (unlike the other facility), always talking to the residents, giving them hugs, feeding them good food (again unlike the other facility), checking on them, and they genuinely like their jobs and are good at it!! Thank you Sarah, Chris, Makayla, Billie Jo, Dawn, Stephanie and the others that I haven’t met personally. Fawn is always giving me updates because of my mom being new and getting used to it. Even sending me pics on her good days!! Thank you so much Fawn! It just makes my heart happy that we found the most caring place we could for my mom. Thank you all!

Two Hearts Homes for Seniors was more of a house. It was small and home-like, and there were just 16 people there. When I toured it, the layout was very, very good. They're real friendly, homey, and they offer family-style home cooked meals. The owner answered all my questions and took me around on the tour, and I've called her since and she called right back, so that was great. The room was fairly small, but it'll be fine. I don't expect my husband to be in his room much. He likes people and he'll be out in the main common area talking and watching TV. It's a twin bed and they provided the furniture, so I didn't have to go out and buy everything that he would need. They were just accommodating. The location is good. It's half an hour from me and it's on the outskirts of Lowell, so it's a quick trip and I didn't even have to go into town. It's right on this side of Lowell. That is going to be an easy transport for me.

Six months ago my dad moved into Two Hearts Home for Seniors. He was welcomed with open arms. The home has a warm, inviting atmosphere, with aides and workers that care about the residents. They go above and beyond to help them feel cared for and included. Really liked the "home" feel of Two Hearts. It doesn't feel at all like a facility or a hospital. It was hard at first having Nan away from home, but this made the transition much easier. Everyone is so friendly and caring. The owner was so kind and made sure ALL of our questions and concerns were handled. The staff is always helpful when we visit. Nan loves that she can have others to visit with and company any time but also have her own space. Its small enough that you still get that one on one care, but big enough that they have activities, assistance, meals, laundry, etc. Personally one of the things I liked the best was how much they do for holidays and birthdays. Nan always loved the holidays and decorated and we always did a lot! They do crafts and have treats and ... well I don't have to worry Nan feels alone. The staff at Two Hearts has really become a second family and I am very grateful for that!

My sister and I visited this beautiful facility several weeks ago and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a place for a loved one. While the place will not ultimately work for our loved one, I wished it would have. Janel is amazing to tour with and she explains how her home operates, and will answer any questions you may have. The cost is very competitive to other retirement facilities. Quite frankly, I was expecting the cost for care at Two Hearts to be much higher considering it is brand new and all the luxuries it includes. Go check it out!

I moved my 91-year-old mother into Two Hearts. Its the best decision I have ever made. Janel and her team have created a wonderful environment for people at this stage of their lives. I know that my mother receives far more attention and assistance at Two Hearts than she would in a large assisted-living facility. I have never been disappointed with the care she has received. The Two Hearts team works very hard to meet the individual needs and wants of each resident. And when there are issues with my mothers health, the management team is incredibly responsive in working toward a solution. I now have peace of mind knowing my mother is safe and well taken care of. I really have only great things to say about Two Hearts, Home for Seniors in Lowell, Indiana. My mom moved into Two Hearts in October 2020 and has been doing so wonderful there. The home itself is much like a family home and since there’s only room for 16 residents, the one-on-one care is excellent. The place is always clean and besides meals, the staff also bring snacks and drinks to the residents regularly. My mom says that it’s so nice that she doesn’t have to do laundry or cook or clean and enjoys her tea and cookies in the evening after dinner. They have doctors, nurse practioners and physical therapists that come to the home to give regular checkups and assessments so no arrangements are needed to drive the residents anywhere and we don’t have to worry about finding doctors and scheduling appointments. That’s very convenient. They also do alot of crafts and often display their art throughout the home or on their doors. Even the men enjoy making things as well. There’s a beautiful, fenced in backyard that the residents can sit outside on nice days and they can also play games. My mom says that she has fun doing that too. One of the best parts of Two Hearts is that my mom and some of the residents say how everyone there is like family. My mom has even helped a couple of the newer residents get acclimated after they moved in and told them how great it is living there. The other residents are so pleasant too. My mom has a few friends that she sits with for her meals and talks with. They are always so kind to me and I enjoy visiting with them too. The staff encourage the residents to not always be in their rooms and ask them to participate in crafts and activities. It’s so nice to see how the Two Hearts staff truly care about the residents and are always willing to help with any questions or concerns that I might have. It’s obviously a hard decision to make about having a parent or loved one move from their home but I truly believe that Two Hearts IS the best place for my mom. She would never have this type of 24/7 care and socialization if she still lived at home or with someone else. A live-in caregiver cannot do all these things, plus my mom’s in a much safer and fulfilling environment.

Best decision for my mom’s care. It became apparent that mom could no longer live by herself. As we were looking at care facilities, I was not feeling too optimistic. I was seriously considering reconfiguring our first floor for her. A friend suggested looking at Two Hearts. It was a 30-minute drive to Lowell. After our visit, I knew that this was the perfect place for mom. On the way home, it was like a heavy weight was removed from me. It would be a place mom would be comfortable, happy, and thrive. The main room of the home has a full kitchen, dining tables, TV watching area, a sitting area, and off to the side is an activity room and a hair salon. There are 16 resident rooms. The place looks like a home. The dinners are made in front of the residents, with their input on meal selection. My mom likes to help clear the dishes after dinner. The caregivers are excellent and so friendly. I get photos texted of their activities they do or her having fun. They also post the activities on their Facebook page. They call me if she is not feeling good. As result of her being there, she is doing craft activities again. Mom was an artist. She stopped doing artwork about ten years ago. We tried various methods to get her to color or draw when she lived at home. At Two Hearts she is coloring pictures and making crafts. I don’t think she will recoup her portrait abilities but the crafts she is doing she is proud of. We are so happy to see her doing crafts again. She also loves music therapy. There is a nurse practitioner that visits once a month to check on all the residents. My mom had a physical therapist helping her when she first arrived. The therapist commented to us how lucky we were to find a place like this. It is a 30-minute drive, but it is inconsequential for the care, progress, and camaraderie that my mom now has. We could never provide the care at our home like Two Hearts is able to provide for her.

We recently moved my grandmother to Two Hearts. This is the 3rd facility in 9 years and this one finally feels like home. As she has gotten older other assisted livings were not capable of giving her the support she needed. Two Hearts is smaller and feels so much like home already. We are so excited for this next chapter!

Wow what a great place! It is really beautiful. I am researching for my father and many of these large facilities would be too overwhelming for him. This home should be perfect for him. I think it is wonderful that one of the owners is a nurse and truly understands all the needs of those living in this beautiful home. In this home my dad would feel at home and I believe he would be very happy.

Had to make a hard decision about 2 weeks ago... had to put dad into assisted living. I knew the time had come that he could no longer live on his own. Didn’t have a lot of time to make a decision and was hoping the decision I made was the right one. Let me tell you...I made the RIGHT decision. Two Hearts for Seniors is an incredible place. All the caregivers are wonderful and the owners are fantastic to deal with. I can finally rest easy. I know he is being taken care of just as if it was me. THANK YOU Two Hearts for all you do for my dad.

One of the best care homes I have ever seen! A loving home providing the utmost care to their residents. The meals are excellent and daily life is very positive. As for the home itself, a tastefully done home with many beautiful touches. A definitely must check out place if considering a new level of care for your loved ones. Best decision I made.

Wow, beautiful, impressive setup! We're considering moving my mother there when it's time. Seems like a well run operation with nice caretakers and very clean building.
