My mother was in here for rehabilitation. Sadly her illness was more than any of us realized and took her sooner than we could keep up with. The staff and care team that took care of her were absolutely amazing. I felt comfortable when I left that she was being cared for. They were always up front with me and told me what was happening and what to expect. When she passed if felt so supported. I cannot imagine going through what I just went through without them.

My family and I toured this facility in hopes of finding a wonderful place for my mother. This place was so beyond wonderful from the cleanliness of the building to the interaction with the staff. The staff members were very nice, polite, kind and professional. The Admissions Director Desiree, was very knowledgeable in the information she provided to myself and my family and she made my family feel such at ease when it comes to finding the best care for my mother. We definitely look forward to making Avalon a home for my mother.

The Staff at Avalon in Ligonier are as far as I am concerned The Unsung Heroes of this World!! My Mother has been here with frontal lobe and mixed Advanced Dementia the past 5 months and as loving and kind as she was before she got sick she has to be one of the hardest cases Avalon has ever had as a Dementia patient with severe anxiety and anger outburst. I am stunned at their commitment and loyalty and love they are all giving her in spite of her issues which is too many to write about here. From the kitchen staff to cleaning crew and aides and nurses and all admin staff ; they care for her with so much love and compassion . I have been visiting my Mom almost every 2nd week fo 3 -4 days at a time all day for past 5 months and I am still amazed an stunned at Avalon's dedication and their tremendous sense of humor and love they are showing her and us as a family. I want to mention every staff member because they are all amazing!! Mary and Rachel; Thank You for your dedication to Mom. YOU ARE LL A BLESSING to us as a family and Mom and Avalon you are a Blessing to Ligonier and your local Community !

Pleasant outdoor areas to soak in. Love the peaceful setting and quite atmosphere. Have had family here in the past with really good experiences. But this time is not up to par I am afraid to say (due to staffing changes). Waiting for the tender loving care to be more unified. Patience. The maintenance Jim, Ingrid the caretaker & Activities director Brian are remarkable!

Avalon has a HOME town feel with excellent care! The Avalon TEAM is very patient oriented, the Medical Director Dr. Pechin is very knowledgeable with years of experience ! YOU ARE IN GREAT HANDS AT AVALON VILLAGE!

This building is so quaint and welcoming in a country setting. They even have senior apartments right on the property and offer rehab in the nursing facility. Kind and welcoming team, they love their residents!
