Creasy Springs is the best place to live. I have been living here on the assisted living and it is the best. The staff is also amazing.

I've spent time at two other Trilogy health campuses and, hands down, Creasy Springs does a phenomenal job across the board; dining, friendly staff who actually want to be there, activities, and the care provided from nursing staff. A very well-rounded campus and culture, FIVE STARS! Nobody is perfect but I will say Creasy Springs is among the best in the Lafayette and Indy market.

I came here recently from Digby Place. My daughter brought me here without asking me if I wanted to leave Digby Place. After being here for a very short time I am finding out that Digby Place was a much better place to stay. I was happy at Digby but here I am beginning to hate it. The building is nice but the staff that helps the residences is not so great. I like many others have to take medications for one reason or another. I take statins and baby aspirin only. Statins are for the heart care. Well there is a lady that comes to my room each night and brings them to me. I have been on statins for years and do not need nor want anyone to babysit me and give my meds to me. I told this woman that and she ignores what I said to her. I told her to give me the botte of meds I have and to let me take my own at the times I need them. So far she has not done it in two nights. Tomorrow I will be talking to the management of this place and let them know that I already gave them bad review and that I think they need to train their staff to treat the residences better. I am 73 years old, a vet and have ived alone most of my life in my home that I left for this place. My daughter brought me to this place and at first I liked it but after seeing how they treat residences I had to correct my prior review. I have a feeling that they will see this review and delete it before anyone sees it. Anyway, buyer beware of putting you family member or yourself in this place. I have walked the halls all over this building a lot since being here. One ward had people laying on gurnies and beds with dirty diapers or pants on. The smell is horrible as you walk thru the ward. I cannot complain to much about the food but it is not home cooked food like what I made for myself. It is edible but not the best food I had in my life. Being ex military I have been in many places and tasted many foods and I know what good food it. This place is not close to being excellent food. My first few days of eating theirs had my stomack hurting a little. I thought it would get better but so far it still bothers me quite a bit. I also found that my laundry basket that was in a closet is missing. I know I had it here and never took it out of the closet so it seems someone came in and took it. Maybe someone took it to wash my clothing but I have no idea when laundry day is. Living in here has not been a great experience but is that the owner fault or the employees fault. Go to Digby Place if you want a better place for your loved ones. What is strange is that I have a friend who is a recluse but she says she loves it here at Creasy Springs, However there is more than one Creasy Springs in this area. Update to my review. Tonight a young lady came to my room with my meds again and gave them to me. I ask about keeping them after I took the meds and she said she was taking them back to where they store them. Again, I am not happy with the way I am being treated. So I am ready to lower this review to a one star only. I do not know where they get the idea they need to dispense medications to older adults. It's not like we are not responsible. So I will go back to the way I had done previously and they came shove the meds where the sun don't shine and if I die of a heart attack they will have to explain that to the court system since they did not leave the meds with me. I know when to take my meds and how much so they need to stop doing like they are doing. I also know my daughter will take them to court if I die of a heart attack while under their care. Again, beware of this senior home. Treating a senior like a unresponsible adult is not the way to treat anyone.

There is no place better! My Dad was here for 5 yrs at the Legacy of Creasy Springs( memory care). He was given care above and beyond, we were welcomed every time we came to visit. The staff are respectful and caring. They have daily activities for residents and many family activities. The building is clean, the food tasty, staff excellent. Debi is a wonderful director- communication excellent. When we were unable to care for my Dad it was devastating, Creasy Springs gave our family a peace of mind- such a blessing.

My husband went there for 3 wks after hip replacement and did fine so after he had to have a different surgery we chose to go there for short term rehab. They kept carrying him around in those lifts and his therapy was pathetic. During his TWO MONTHS there he was sent to the ER 4 times. The last time I visited him there he was stoned out of his mind and showing signs of tardive dyskinesia. I finally got him transferred to the Indy VA hospital where they have worked at getting him back to where he was when he first entered Creasy. He lost ground terribly during that 2 months. I felt like I was fighting just to get him discharged. For people who just need a clean place with care it might be ok. But I would never recommend it now. The VA has had excellent help. He has had to go thru more than anyone should. His blood sugar was high and that is fine now. He shows no sign of tardive dyskinesia now from medications and he is working hard with therapy to walk better. I would not want to send anyone there now.
