My mother lived at Kesslerwood Place for about 6 years. Moving there was one of the best moves our family had ever taken. The food was great, it was reasonably priced and the staff was spectacular. They viewed their time at KWP as a vocation, not a job. Dennisbrake

From Edith at the front desk, to all the wonderful nurses, activities director, nursing director, assistants, maintenance, housekeeping, cooks, servers, etc… have all been fabulous. Joe has resided there for almost 7 years and they care for him as if he were their own beloved grandfather. The staff here has exceeded my original expectations 10 fold. They keep me in the loop regarding Joe’s health, behaviors, needs, etc…. I’ve already informed my children if I ever need assisted living - this is where I want to go.

I cannot say enough about everyone that works there. They treated my Aunt like she was a queen. From the ED, DON, Nurses, CNAs, dietary and anyone I may have forgotten. It is incredible how compassionate and caring everyone is. There was not a day that we didnt feel our Aunt wasnt taken care of. Thank you and bless you all for what you do!!!

I work with the residents of Kesslerwood Place as part of Cycling Without Age of Greater Indianapolis. I have interacted with both the residents and the staff. The staff have always been very helpful and supportive of our service and the residents seem happy and well cared for. I work most closely with Jalene Huff because she is the Activities Director. She is always helpful and supportive to us and caring toward the residents.

I have worked with Kesslerwood Place for a few years and have always found the staff to be exceptionally loving and caring with the residents. Every time I drop in the residents are engaged in fun and meaningful events and activities. When I talk with the residents they tell me how happy they are and how good the food is. I highly recommend you stop in to see for yourself!

Kesslerwood Place is a wonderful place for anyone who is needing assistance with their ADLs. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with infectious smiles and warmth. If you are looking for a home away from home this is the first place to visit. The staff is a perfect blend of tenure, compassion, tenderness and commitment resulting in joyful and intimate experiences. The activities and group outings make it effortless to develop lifelong friendships and companionship. It doesnt matter if youre a resident, a family member, or a community partner everyone is guaranteed a warm and inviting experience when visiting Kesslerwood Place.

Ive been working for kesslerwood for 3 year now in the dietary and I really enjoy working here the management is great. Lorna the ED, door is always open as well as her having an open ear to question and concerns. The staff is awesome an the residents are friendly and patient. Ive worked for Kessler woods for about 3 years now and its been a learning experience for me Ive had the privilege of cooking for some great people . Sometimes we have rough days but we work together and get the job done my coworkers are just like my family because we spend so much time together but overall I like working here and dont plan on going anywhere for a long time

I am very lucky to be part of the Kesslerwood Place community. I enjoy the residents, the Kesslerwood staff and the family feel of the community. Edith is great at keeping us all organized. Heather and Lorna are always looking for ways to enrich the lives of our residents. They enjoy interacting with the residents and putting smiles on their faces. Jalene works hard to make sure the AL residents live their best life. Rob and Nicole and their crew provide us with some great food! Crystal and Erica keep The Memory Care Residents active. The Kesslerwood Nursing Staff are a great group of people and I appreciate all they do. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your Kesslerwood Family.

I have worked with all of the staff at Kesslerwood Place for a few years. I would highly recommend having your love one living there. Lorna Executive Director has an extensive clinical background along with great leadership skills. Rob the dietary manager always puts the residents first when planning their menus and his staff outdoes themselves during the family nights. From the front desk Edna, along with the entire staff thru out the community, there is a sense of calmness, love and great care for everyone that lives there. Every is family here!

My family had the good fortune of finding Kesslerwood Place for our loved one - she needed a high level of care that KW was able to provide and just knowing that she was safe, attended to and cared for even when we couldnt be with her was incredibly comforting. The nurse teams are lovely - so kind and caring - and they took great care of her right up until the end. KW also makes sure that no one will ever die alone, so when we were unable to hold vigil there was always someone in the room. Thanks to Heather and Pheobe for going above and beyond the call of duty.
