This place is extremely beautiful and very nice. My mother really likes it, better than were she was. Everyone here is wonderful and the food is good (except for the peas) she doesn't eat. I am very pleased.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! Due to my own failing health, I had to find a place for my mother where she would be safe, comfortable and happy. I’m very picky, so it was important to me that this place be clean, free of smells, not too many residents, diverse and affordable. I found this place in Bloom at Kessler, a hidden gem on the northeast side of Indy. Most impressive is how the entire management team functions as a family in caring for the residents. Whenever I have questions or needs, Craig, Laura, Helga, Sidney, Katy, Ashley, Teresa, Alisha, Nikki, Miracle, Allen, Monque, Gwen, Stephanie and Florence have all been very helpful and supportive. You can tell by me knowing the names of everyone that I’ve had a lot of questions (and help)!!! The entire team has made themselves accessible to me. I can rest better knowing that my mother is well taken care of and I will forever be thankful for this place!

Our building has been part of the Bloom family for almost two weeks now, and I am so happy with the family feel and the personal attention we are getting from the owners. I am really looking forward to being a part of the growth that will be happening over the next few months. The food is terrible. I am tired of greens. We are told to sit in the same seat everyday so they can remember who you are. There are only two meal offerings everyday. They launder your clothes in steaming hot water so that they shrink. Weekend nights they are short of help and have to hire outside. One night a lady was forgotten and wasn’t put to bed at all.

My mother lived at Kesslerwood Place for about 6 years. Moving there was one of the best moves our family had ever taken. The food was great, it was reasonably priced and the staff was spectacular. They viewed their time at KWP as a vocation, not a job. Dennisbrake

From Edith at the front desk, to all the wonderful nurses, activities director, nursing director, assistants, maintenance, housekeeping, cooks, servers, etc have all been fabulous. Joe has resided there for almost 7 years and they care for him as if he were their own beloved grandfather. The staff here has exceeded my original expectations 10 fold. They keep me in the loop regarding Joe’s health, behaviors, needs, etc. I’ve already informed my children if I ever need assisted living - this is where I want to go.

Kesslerwood Place is a wonderful place for anyone who is needing assistance with their ADL’s. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with infectious smiles and warmth. If you are looking for a home away from home this is the first place to visit. The staff is a perfect blend of tenure, compassion, tenderness and commitment resulting in joyful and intimate experiences. The activities and group outings make it effortless to develop lifelong friendships and companionship. I am very lucky to be part of the Kesslerwood Place community. I enjoy the residents, the Kesslerwood staff and the family feel of the community. Edith is great at keeping us all organized. Heather and Lorna are always looking for ways to enrich the lives of our residents. They enjoy interacting with the residents and putting smiles on their faces. Jalene works hard to make sure the AL residents live their best life. Rob and Nicole and their crew provide us with some great food! Crystal and Erica keep The Memory Care Residents active.
