The Memory Care Neighborhood is exceptional. I encourage you to look past the age of the community and really take in your surroundings. Do the residents look well cared for? Yes. There is things within their environment they are interacting with and the care team is engaging, too! Is the environment clean? Yes! There is actually a designated housekeeper specifically for Memory Care that engaged the residents in the cleaning process—how amazing! Do the caregivers seem friendly? YES. They are such a wonderful group of people that really support the mission of safety, dignity and care. I would definitely recommend StoryPoint Fort Wayne West.

We have been very pleased with the care our sister is receiving at StoryPoint Fort Wayne West. The facility is very clean and the care is wonderful. The entire staff is kind and caring. The food is wonderful, and she is getting acquainted with new friends. We feel confident our loved one is receiving good care.

This community is simply amazing. When you walk in you can tell that their goal is to make the residents lives and their experience better than anywhere else. My Dad has lived at the Hearth two and a half years. The Hearth has gone through several directors in that time. Now they have Tyler and things are improving under his direction and the return of nurse Amy. Tyler keeps the familys informed as to changes that are happening and has an open door policy. My Dad said Tyler and other staff members were serving breakfast on Monday morning when others were not able to get in following our 12 of snow. It was reported that he did a great job! Thank you Tyler and keep up the good work.Cindy Trygg

My father has been at The Hearth for two plus years. There have been several staffing changes which seem to be working out well. My father said the food has improved greatly with the new dietitian. The new head nurse Amy has gotten back with me to answer health questions about my Dad. Yes there are new faces, but there are many staff members that were there when Dad moved in and are still there doing an excellent job keeping the residents Covid free.Change is never easy when our love ones must leave their homes, but I do believe The Hearth does a good job making the residents comfortable in their new homes. Thank you for protecting my Dad during this trying time with Covid. Im looking forward to better times when I can visit with him in his apartment.

Ive been driving the Hearths bus now for over a year and a half, driving the residents from there to their doctor appointments and for shopping at different stores. Ive driven them on scenic tours around the area and I love my job at the Hearth. Its a great place to work and the residents are very lucky to have a very caring staff who will help them with all their needs.

I have worked at the Hearth at Sycamore Village for 3 years in various roles. Im sure you will see poor reviews by disgruntled former employees, but just know that their view is not accurate. While every community goes through management struggles and hardships, I assure you that the employees at the Hearth are some of the most caring, compassionate, and hardworking individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The Food Service Director has completely devoted herself to meeting and surpassing the residents needs. You will not find a quicker response from a Maintenance team. The activities staff are always coming up with new things to enrich residents lives, they are amazing. Nursing has always been the backbone of this facility and their commitment to the building is unmatched. Administration is at a point of stability and I encourage you to visit; see how much has changed, see how happy the residents are. If you are looking for a place that your loved one can call I home, this is the place.

I worked at the Hearth and loved my experience. My department head was the best and I loved and respected her, she worked along side of us and set the example of excellence for her staff to follow in the memory units. I loved the people I worked with In all the departments and the residents were delightful. Due to health issues I no longer work at this facility. I have never seen a more loyal, dependable staff in my life and friendships I had developed at the Hearth are still strong and ongoing.

The assisted living section is great, my mom was recently moved to the Memory Keeper section, all the workers, nurses etc are great, the only thing Im not happy with is the meals, she only has 2 choices compared to 2 choices plus a menu of lots of other choices. Wish they would change it

Only love for this place. The residents love our programming and we always keep it fresh and new. Its such a great feeling uplifting the residents as they spend their last years. Really feels like a family.

Excellent service by the nursing staff and hospice! Tara was wonderful in allowing all my family members to say good-bye to my father who was a resident before he passed away. She seemed to care like so other nurse Ive seen.
