We had to find a place for my dad with autism to live when he was diagnosed with early onset dementia. River Crossing is such a wonderful place for its residents to maintain their independence but still receive care that they need. The staff is so kind, attentive, understanding, compassionate, and most of all patient when taking care of him. It's been a very difficult transition as my father has come to the realization he can no longer live on his own. River Crossing has helped him and his family, cross that difficult bridge while helping him maintain his dignity especially with his age and early onset of his condition. The staff also answers my phone calls and concerns quickly, efficiently, and with so much compassion. The facility itself is so nice,clean, and well maintained. My father has been able to come out of the shell and make friends with other residents. He now sits with them every day eating in their fabulous dining area. For years my father had essentially been self-isolating himself and we have been very concerned and now love seeing that he is now able to forge relationships with other people outside of his immediate family. We love the activities that the facility provides especially the ones that also involve family and the community like the Easter egg hunt. My Dad loved walking around and collecting eggs with his grandson! We really could not recommend a place anymore than River Crossing. They go above and beyond what I expect in assisted living care and I would trust no one else more with my fathers well being.

This is a great facility with great staff, a friend of mine is a resident here. When I go visit I have always noticed the thoughtful decorations, and the clean, and welcoming atmosphere. The DON Kierra, is also pretty amazing she treats residents, and the staff like they are family. I highly recommend!!

The staff here is amazing and the level of care is exceptional. The nurses and staff go above and beyond. The facility is clean and well maintained. It’s always hard putting loved ones into an assisted living facility because of the thought of the unknown and not being there to see what’s going on personally. However, I can honestly say that this place has eased all of our worries. They are so kind and gentle with my grandmother and just watching how they are with the other residents as well, is comforting to know that they are truly in great hands. The Director of Nursing, Kierra, has been so pleasant to deal with. She has always answered any of our questions and/or concerns and will personally go out of her way to make sure that the residents are taken care of with the care and compassion they deserve. I definitely recommend this place.

My dad has been here since August of 2025. He unfortunately has dementia and I needed to move him to an assisted living. This has been the best thing for him and he really loves it. He has acclimated well and that is due to the staff. They are very kind and always helpful. If an issue does arise they will call me and we address it. There are couple people that I want to particularly mention. Kiara head of nursing is great to deal with and understanding. Then there is Thomas a nurse that my dad just loves. He treats him with kindness and always with a good attitude. Thanks to everyone for making my dad feel at home!!

We have not had to utilize the facility for our loved one, but the staff have been a tremendous help in guiding us to the resources that we need through our difficult journey ahead. Leigh Ann has been fantastic! She has a heart of gold! She even took the time out of her weekend to communicate with me with any questions or concerns.

My dad is comfortable in his home (apt), and he loves the staff. He has also made important friends. The only thing that holds me back from 5 stars is the nutritional meals chefs on staff. The meals aren’t so nutritious and the lady in the kitchen isn’t a chef, she’s a cook. There is no alternative that is a complete meal. There is nothing that is made separate for diabetic patients. My dad asked for cheese to be removed from his sandwich and the waitress told him too bad. Very upsetting to him and our family. So, all is good except for meals.

Ive been here 4 months and I've done nothing but bump heads with staff since I've been here.i know some of it was my fault but they don't tell you the rules.residents are treated like 5 year old.all the good helpful nurses are quitting and the ones left are out to get someone in trouble.they don't want people who can think for themselves.im in the process of leaving and I don't have many great things to say about this place it's clean and food is not to bad if you like living in drama then come here

I cannot begin to say enough good about our recent move in experience for my Sister. We started with Juanita giving us a tour. From there she has been an Angel. She had worked endlessly to help us get through everything. All done with compassion and love! Rich finalized our move in and helped us tour the apartment again. He was phenomenal! Since moving in everyone has been so caring and helpful. The staff here is absolutely wonderful. I am absolutely amazed how the residents are assisted in the dining room. Even in the hallways the staff to include management is so caring and helpful. I was very worried about leaving my sister for the first night. I can assure you those worries were put to rest by the wonderful staff. Then when I returned the next morning my sister said I love it here! Music to my ears. It is such a good feeling to know she is being cared for by such wonderful individuals. I so look forward to spending time with her and the resident’s there. If you have loved one that needs some assisted care I would definitely advise you to ask for a tour of this facility. Very clean and the feeling that someone cares!!

I and my family have been Thankful to be included and a part of their care. I love going to see my sister and each one there, you have become family to me. I cannot say enough great things about River Crossing. My sister needed a little more assistance than we could give her. She reluctantly agreed to go here. SHE LOVES IT. The staff are friendly, helpful and respectful to her privacy. They are always having activities and fun events that she enjoys being a part of. She enjoys the field trips and outings they go on. She enjoys the meals they prepare and the nursing staff is great to help her with her meds and medical needs when needed. Her health has gotten better due to the extra care that she gets. They have given her a better quality of life. I would highly recommend them ’™’™

Juanita did an amazing job helping me get my son in the facility. She is a very hard worker. When I had to talk to her about things she was always friendly and helpful. All the staff I have come in contact with has been friendly and helpful. I feel at ease with my son being there.

I moved in here on March 1st, so I've been here just about 3 months. So far I really like it here. The staff are very nice and helpful. The food is mostly pretty good, let's be honest, people aren't going to like every single meal. The facility itself is kept very clean. If you're looking for an assisted living place be sure to at least check out River Crossing.

Juanita did amazing work with trying to get my aunt in the facility. She worked hard in getting her admitted. But before we got her to facility my aunt got cold Feet. She decided she was staying at the place where she was the morning of the day of the move. I have to thank everyone there for their help with this. She was trying to make a move from nursing home to assisted living. Even though she decided not to go, i would recommend the facility to anyone. Thanks to all

I wish i could give this place a zero. They treat residents horribly. They left a resident for 14 hours without help after she fell. There is mold growing throughout the dietary area, they just failed the health department inspection. They are putting residents and staff in danger by not having gas lines hooked correctly to the stoves, per the fire marshal. Residents are treated horrible, most of the time they do not get proper care. Management treats residents and staff like they are trash.

I have been a resident here since 11/30/2020...it was under different management when I first arrived. There has been improvement since the new company has taken over, yet there is still room for improvement. The building is not new, but is clean, and reasonably well maintained. Due to Covid-19 and other employment issues they are having trouble keeping full staffing currently, just like everywhere else. It is quiet, and rooms are not huge, but large enough to accommodate reasonably comfortably. I am comfortable enough to choose to remain here to stay close to my family.
