I'm from Ohio and I recently visited my mother here. If I could attach pictures I would. I am so disheartened by some of the meals that were served to the residents. One was a white hot dog bun filled with ground beef with no seasoning with a small blob of mashed potatoes with nothing on them. A cookie was on the side plus a drink. I imagine that there are no staff members and members of management who would eat these meals on a regular basis. Additionally, they made up her bed with urine soaked sheet still on it. We purchased several waterproof liners so the urine would not soak down into the mattress and these have been lost in the laundry and never returned. It also appears as though all of the residents clothes are washed together and the only way to get the clothing back to the proper resident is if you use permanent marker to mark their names on the items. Some items are dark and are not markable. In Ohio in many places such as this, each resident has a large mesh bag into which their items are placed and the items are then all washed together but they are all separate which means each resident gets back their own clothing their own socks their own underwear etc. At 8 grand a month I am really disheartened. Every member of management will be old someday and in a position such as my mother. I hope you are fed the same type of food and given the same type of care as residents are at Hearthstone. But that won't be the case, because you've made so much money off of the residents that you'll be fed off of a silver tray by your personal chef.

I recently had my first experience with Hearthstone, and I was truly impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness of the staff. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this is a facility deeply committed to compassionate and specialized memory care. The environment was welcoming and thoughtfully designed to support both comfort and dignity for residents. Staff members were not only knowledgeable, but also genuinely kind and patient in their interactions. It gave me a strong sense of trust and reassurance, knowing that those in their care are in such capable and caring hands. Hearthstone left a first positive impression, and I’m grateful for the peace of mind it's bringing.

Was very impressed with what I had heard and was able to speak with a staff member briefly due to the lateness of an hour. And they were very informative and very kind. My mother and father has had to have several stays with Hearthstone. The staff and caregivers treat them like family, making them feel special with activities like art, bingo, along with therapy, and good meals. The professional caregivers that are so cheerful and loving, we are lucky to have found a place that is so great for the folks. I had the most wonderful stay with you people. All of the staff was exceptional, management, nurses, and kitchen associates. Even the kitchen help would wheel you back to your room or find some ice cream if you asked. I would highly recommend you to anyone needing rehab care. My father was a resident of Hearthstone several years ago. We participated in many of the activities when he was a resident and have continued to after his passing. We love the community that Hearthstone has built and the events that they have for current residents and community members. We have participated in a truffle cooking class, petting zoo, fish fry, multiple bake sales, trick or treating, ice cream socials, fairs, wreath auctions, etc. All of the events have been a positive experience for my family. We have been welcomed with smiles from all involved. We look forward to attending events in the future and are pleased to still be part of the Hearthstone family!

This campus has a lot to offer anyone who chooses to stays here. I'm here short-term but am enjoying the lovely view outside. Hearthstone offers a great variety of activities for all, both on campus and some short day trips. The staff is willing to take the time to answer my questions and listen to my needs. While I am not loving the act of my physical therapy, the therapist is encouraging and helps me push myself through the sessions.

I am so impressed with Hearthstone. EVERY staff member is so wonderful in every way. I know that they aren't just doing their job, they care about the patient's. I've had experience with other nursing homes and it really makes a difference the care that they give. So I am giving them a full Ten stars on my mother's care at Hearthstone.

This staff sincerely cares about the residents and the state of the art legacy provides excellent care for those with dementia. The staff keeps the legacy calm yet residents Are engaged and even entertained! Behavioral expression’s have not been observed during my visits. I would put my mother there in a heartbeat.

Absolutely the best care facility! I have had numerous experiences at other area facilities that I would rate from 1-3, but this place is as near perfect as anyone could find. Staff is efficient, as well as proficient. They all work harmoniously as a complete team. The facility's executive director can occasionally be seen serving meals. If you need care, it's the place to be!

Great Senior Living Center. The best in Bloomington, Indiana. Been working with these guys through the company I work for (Comfort Keepers).
