Visited as GUEST, and DINNER was great right out as normal dinner i was told. My veteran friend says it is a nice place and from visitn i sure agree. Activities like group dominoes and puzzles, very nice library community room and feels "homey". My older friend (and i the younger visiting) would like a pool table or some such slightly more active things, and making new friends is a little harder, but maybe that just depends on who and how you are in life. Overall, i recommend if only closer for me visiting with my friend.

Smith Farms is an amazing place! Lisa McNamara did an outstanding job of introducing us to the facility and making my father in law feel extremely welcomed. The process of admitting him was made very easy and the transition was extremely smooth. The staff is outstanding!! Consider my review an A+ rating!!

Smith farms takes care of their residents. They have friendly faces at the door, it is warm and inviting from the moment you step into the building. They are always keeping the residents going with activities. I will place my mother in this independent living/assistive living building when it is time.

Every time I walk into Smith Farm I am always impressed with the staff. The facility is always clean and food is great. I always feel welcome when I walk in the door. The new renovations look amazing it really is charming.

My dad moved into Smith Farms about 2 months ago. From the beginning they all took great care of him! They made sure he came down for meals, they checked on him constantly, and most of all, they made him feel at home. He said many times that he wished he would’ve made the move over here much sooner! My sweet dad passed away yesterday and we received many hugs and a lot of tears from the staff. They treated him like family and we will never forget that! I highly recommend Smith Farm Manor!!

In the past several weeks, when visiting a family member, the care in this facility has greatly declined! The second shift RA’s do not provide the proper care...from medications being missed, breathing treatments not given, missed showers, laundry not being done and the list goes on! When this is brought to the attention of the Executive Director NOTHING is done. She tells you what she thinks you want to hear and then never holds anyone accountable! These are all services that we pay big money for and are simply overlooked. It could be the fact that when I’ve been in, the RA’s are hanging out at the front desk killing time chatting with the new front desk person that was hired. I’m not sure of her name but she is completely unprofessional, loud and annoying! Always on her phone! Considering this is the only independent/assisted living in the Auburn area, someone needs to hold this ED and her minions in check! Giving two stars because of the employees there that actually care for the residents. Not giving my name for fear of retaliation against my loved one.

Kathy the director is the best!! I needed my mom Betty helped. Kathy went to her room and took care of it. She is the best employee they have. Director that will take time to put a family member like me at easy. This means the world to me.

My family has been working with Marcia on placing our mother at Smith Farms Manor. She has been absolutely wonderful and so knowledgeable with so much helpful information. During our tour, we also met Kim and Angie who were so sweet and pleasure to speak with. We are currently on a waiting list but looking forward to moving our mom into this beautiful community in the future. 5 Stars!!!!

I love this place! My grandma, great-uncle, great-aunt, & a couple of friends all live here & it's such a wonderful little "community" atmosphere! The staff is super friendly, attentive, & always SO caring! It's always so clean, & there're nice open areas for dinning & activities with lots of windows to enjoy the view while dining & such. They have lots of activities for the residents to participate in & they can make all kinds of friends while doing them! I highly recommend checking it out & taking a free tour of the building & check out the awesome apartments that are available There are regular apartments & studio apartments also available, some even have their own patio/balcony. They also have an option to bring your pet to live with you in your apartment.

My Mother lived at Smith Farms Manor for many years. She loved her first floor one-bedroom apartment as it had its own patio. She enjoyed gardening, and the patio allowed her to have containers filled with flowers.
