The nursing staff genuinely cared for my mom. While communication is not strength of this facility, their compassion and excellent daily care earned them this rating. When I evaluated other nursing homes for another family member, I discovered a lot of places would have considered my mother bed-ridden and would have left her alone in her room. Sacred Heart gets everyone up, neatly cared for, brings them into a common area and interacts with them all day long. Their memory care unit is simply the best. She received loving assistance with her meals and the staff knew her and what she enjoyed. She never had a skin breakdown even long after she was no longer ambulatory, which is a testimony to their good care. When she needed the support, they got her a Broda chair which meant greater comfort and mobility for her.

Mother in law is the F unit and it is a real hassle to get in on weekends. Through the week not so bad but still a hassle, but staff are great!

The staff was short handed due to the holiday, but the available staff worked hard to make up for it. I appreciate the sacrifice they made during this holiday season.

My sister gets excellent treatment from staff. The nursing staff is wonderful and communicates information to me on a regular basis. The social worker has been very difficult to work with.

Quick stop to visit grandma! Dead flowers in her room, stained wall tiles still in her room, note to change sheets from last weekend still there, nurse/staff in office chatting. Tom said Hi and a nice lady was sweeping the front outdoor sitting area.

Each time we visit my Dad at Sacred Heart Village, the Nursing Staff makes us feel welcomed and is busy attending to the needs of the residents. My Dad doesn't have to worry about preparing his meals, dealing with laundry, or figuring out which meds to take each day. The Nursing Staff helps with those things and so much more. Thanks to the Nursing Staff for all that you do to make each day less stressful for my Dad and the other residents that you care for!

I didn't realize how ABSOLUTELY disappointing my mother's experience with a different nursing home in Noble County was until she started rehab at Sacred Heart. Selena, the social worker, has been BEYOND helpful through these difficult circumstances. She is readily available to speak with, she is clearly passionate about the work she does, and has gone out of her way to help bring peace of mind. I couldn't say anything close to this following our last nursing home experience. Good social workers are a Godsend, and Selena has been nothing short. I couldn't thank her or recommend her enough.

My Grandmother has been living at the Assisted Living part of Sacred Heart from almost 3 years now. Im 2,000 miles away, but Katy and Megan communicate with me anytime I need them or have questions, concerns about her care and her health. My grandma tells me all the time she is so happy there and the staff is so sweet and helpful to her. Its wonderful to know shes able to maintain her independence and have caring and supportive health care professionals on site every day.
