My 90 year old Dad lives here and hes so happy I stayed in his apartment for the first few days and I will tell you that the food is Absolutely Delicious and each and every staff member is Amazing and treats you like family !!! They always have fun activities for the residents too ❤ I can tell you that I have total peace of mind knowing that my Dad has 24 care just steps away if he would need it --- while living an Independent life. His apartment is Always clean and they even do his laundry !!! Thank you Heritage Woods ❤❤❤

Hi, I live at Heritage Woods of Yorkville, I have been here for eight years now and am very happy living here. We have a great staff and wonderful CNAs who give help to any one in need of assistance. We have many activitys to keep us busy all day. We exercise, play bingo, bean bag baseball, a walking club, we have our little garden plots to care for, and crafts in activity room, a movie night. We have a bus that takes us shopping to many different places. Once a month we go out to eat. Have made many good friends here. The months go by really fast. And also a wonderful dining room where I enjoy eating three times a day.My thanks to Heritage Woods of Yorkville for what you all do for me.

While there are many things this place does well, there is a major problem with the quality of the food. My father skips half of the meals in favor of making a sandwich in his room. Ive heard other residents echo his complaints.

My mother in law resided at Heritage Woods. Not only is the place clean but it has an open concept both in the way it looks and the way it feels. We found the administrator John, nurse Shannon, and CNA like Marcella to be some of the kindest, most helpful people who ever worked and supported our mother in law. The place has an upbeat atmosphere and many activities for the residents. I would like to add that they were fair and kind from the beginning of my mother in law's stay until the end. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an assisted living residence for a loved one.
