So very thankful for the caring staff at Bickford of Oswego. I cared for my mother for over 2 years and when I became ill and could no longer provide the care she needed, I’m so grateful for Bickford of Oswego for giving her the compassionate care and support she needs. Thank you to all the staff that take care of my best friend, my mom! I would like to take the time to really thank the staff at Bickford of Oswego for literally saving my mother’s life from choking! They quickly took action and because of that, I still have my mother!

Words cannot accurately describe what a wonderful place Bickford is, but I will try: - Tanya, the first woman I spoke with on the phone in the search for care for my dad, was warm, compassionate, clear and kind. She has such a heart for senior care and all of the residents knew her and loved her. She answered all of my questions and was patient and thoughtful in her responses. She made what was a sad and intimidating situation for me accessible and I can’t thank her enough. - I was incredibly impressed with the executive director, Patrick. I have met many directors of senior living facilities and none were as genuine and earnest as Patrick. When I met him he was not behind an intimidating office desk, he was out and about chatting with residents. It impressed me so much that he wanted to get to know my dad as a PERSON, not just someone in his care. Looking for senior care can be daunting and intimidating; Bickford makes it easy. The facility was clean, the food smelled amazing, the residents were happy and, above all else, every individual was treated with dignity.

I moved my father to Bickford after he spent a few months in another memory care facility where his diapers were not changed for hours and his wet bedding was not even changed when needed. I found the care at Bickford was so much better, and he remained there for two years until he passed away. He was always clean and well cared for there. I don't think the activities in the memory care unit are the best, but the staff is very patient and caring. It's a tough job to care for people with dementia, but they have great staff there.

Our mom moved from a horrendous memory care community to Bickford of Oswego a bit over a year ago. Because of our bad experience our bar was set pretty low..we just wanted something better than terrible. We have been so amazed by the care at Bickford. The health team is so proactive in their care of my mom. The staff really goes out of their way to build genuine relationships not only with residents, but with their family as well. When I visit I get hellos and hugs from many staff. After such a bad experience at her former community, we have felt such a sense of relief and gratitude for they way that Bickford has cared for our mom.

What a beautiful home away from home! Just toured this facility as Mom will be needing some care as she is unable to live on her own. Met with Tanya Maher a family advocate at the Bickford. She was so warm, welcoming and informed to help our family make some decisions. If you are in the area and looking for a place for your loved one...stop by for a visit. You will not be disappointed. The staff and facility are incredible, caring team that truly meet all expectations about what you and your family need.

The Bickford was one of the top two choices for my mom. My wife had a wonderful experience when her grandmother lived at the Bickford in Oswego. The care was exceptional, and the team was awesome. The Bickford of Oswego also came highly recommended to us by a therapist that has been working with my mom and dad for years. I visited on behalf of my mom and dad. My dad ended up choosing a place in Morris due to proximity to him, family, and most of the activities they do in their day to day living. We would have moved mom to the Bickford in Oswego if the place in Morris did not have any availability.

This facility is so family oriented, even though I was not able to get my brother in. They directed me and gave me resources to where I can take my brother. I’m so thankful for them and their staff is amazing. I would definitely recommend anyone to them.

My dad stayed at Bickford in Oswego through this past July. We and he were extremely impressed by the caring staff and pleasant environment. He made new friends with the staff and residents and absolutely raved about the food that was served. Our family was happy that dad was happy. Too many names to mention, but Tanya was our first connection and she is fantastic.

Bickford of Oswego is a wonderful, wonderful home for my dad. We moved him from another facility 4 plus years ago because of concerns we had. At Bickford, I know he is being taken care of and loved. They keep him involved in the activities, which he loves. They are very in tune to how he is feeling each day. If he is having an off day, they notice it right away and contact me and the appropriate parties as needed. All of the staff is wonderful and truly care for my dad. We LOVE Bickford!

I think the staff in Mary B’s is outstanding! They are so patient with my not so patient mother. They put up with a lot and yet are still able to smile and give encouragement. Bickford of Oswego is absolutely amazing! They are an answer to a prayer. They gladly took in both my mom, on hospice, and my dad with dementia. Every single person there kept showing and telling me to not worry, they got this. And they did!! I live out of state but the staff worked tirelessly to make us all feel safe, loved and cared for. Every two weeks I visited and saw that each staff member combined their faith and professionalism seamlessly! Everything from medication management, working with hospice staff, taking care of their apartment and even welcoming their adored cat were done with professionalism and a smile. Laughter and smiles are seen constantly. Bickford is a small community that practices their faith and their dedication to every resident, no matter what. Thank you Bickford!!

My father lived at Bickford until his passing a couple of years ago. When I think of Bickford, I do so with fond memories. In the time Dad was there, I grew close to many of the residents and their families, became friends with the staff and truly felt Bickford was my Father's home. I felt the staff was always trying to make Bickford a happy and loving environment. The staff shares in the residents and families joys, sadness and just everyday living! Very nice place.
