Resident, Sept, 2016 - March, 2023. Westbrook was a 5-star community when I moved in (2016) and for several years after. In my opinion it is now a 2.5 - 3 star community. Some programs and amenities have been dropped and the restaurant-style dining leaves much to be desired as the quality and portion size of the meals has decreased. I found no other option than to move to another senior-living facility.

Westbrook Senior Living Community is far Superior of any of the Communities that my Mom Lived in or that we visited. The entire staff from the caregivers especially Josefina and Virginia to the Nurses especially Stella and to the operations Aksel, Kristen and Cynthia they all are very caring, helpful and respectful to all the seniors. My Mom has truly found a place she can call home. We are so appreciative for all the services provided by Westbrook Senior Living.

Westbrook Senior Living took excellent care of our mom. She experienced independent living, assisted living and memory care during her stay. At every level of care she was shown respect and treated extremely well. The amount of care she received was personalized to meet her physical and mental health needs. Our sincerest gratitude to the staff- from the aides thru the department directors - for the care they delivered.

My family moved mom into Westbrook 5 months ago. After living at home it is difficult to find a place comparable to home. Westbrook is just that and more. The wonderful staff there takes time to get to know each client and family. I can not walk in the door without being greeted with a smile, a hello, or a hug. The other clients there have become family in just a short time. My mom adjusted to the new setting somewhat quickly. The social directors ( Tracey and Ashley) worked hard to get mom into activities and I would soon find her out in the common areas. The CNA s are so very kind. Their touch is gentle and they find ways to sooth the clients. The nurses have excellent observation skills, and quickly recognized a serious situation with mom who needed surgery, contacted me, and helped my family get her the medical attention needed. Cynthia is always available for questions and develops accurate individual care plans. From the start I have had contact with Aksel, the director. He makes family feel comfortable. His door is always open. In fact you can often find clients in talking with him. He runs the support group in which families can share and learn about the services available for dementia patients. Aksel takes pride in his staff and works hard to make certain his staff is there for the right reasons. He ensures that the staff is a team and they work well together. Not to mention that the actual building itself is beautiful. Moms room is neat and she has her own bathroom with private shower. The common areas are beautifully decorated and we feel safe knowing that they have secured entry and exit. Mom recently moved back to Westbrook after surgery. She has had some decline in her dementia. The staff openly welcomed her back. I am so very grateful for this wonderful facility because my mom is resting peacefully at home. I highly recommend Westbrook Senior Living. Come check it out !

My mother has lived here since May 2017. I cant express how wonderful this facility is from the employees to the residents. There is so much kindness and true caring. The residents do not have Clicks and include everyone in meals and activities. The food is delicious and the activities are fun! I have volunteered at senior living facilities in the past, and I was not happy with what I saw at those facilities. Westbrook is without a doubt the best senior living! It is clean and beautiful, so are all of the employees!

All the staff are very friendly and newly built so they are very clean and the views are beautiful. Convenient meal service and resident nursing services are great for adults. We have moved my dad to Westbrook in Streamwood and we feel very fortunate and blessed to have found this community. You could not find a more beautiful home filled with a dedicated and loving staff.
