From an employee standpoint, this place is amazing. The administration is always involved with not only the staff but its residents. The residents always feel comfortable to discuss any issues (should there be any) with any staff member, from the CNA to the administrator, with ease and we have all done our best to make sure there is a solution to the issue at hand. The residents are a pretty close group of people and treat each other as if they are family. When one is down the others step up and try to make that person feel better as best they can. Always encouraging each other to get involved and try new things, or giving them the strength to try again when they are ready. There is never a dull moment around here as we are all laughing and having a good time. There is always some sort of activity going on or games being played. Some residents attend college, while others have made it around town with ease using uber or other means. This is a great supportive living facility and independence is always encouraged as well as safety, the staff always makes sure residents feel safe and confident in doing anything they set their mind to! They are always there to help whether it be to appointments or just listening or helping them do something they are unable to. The staff treat these residents as if they are their own family and that is one of the things I love about the Mary Bryant Home! They say if you love your job, you're not truly working, and honestly in 5 and a half years I felt I haven't worked a single one of them. To me when I work, it is like coming home.

It has been my privilege to be part of the MBH Board, and it is truly an excellent organization. The care and concern for the residents is the Home's primary goal, and it shows! This is a tremendous asset for our community and I'm proud to be a small part of that!

It has been my honor and privilege to be involved with The Mary Bryant Home since 2008, starting as a volunteer and now working full time. The residents are absolutely amazing. Nothing stops them from enjoying outings for shopping, dining, Muni Opera, bowling, camping, becoming spelling champions, and participating in many other events. There is always something going on. MBH has terrific, caring staff and we're a family! If you're looking for a tax deduction this year, Mary Bryant Home for the Blind and Visually impaired is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit supportive living facility, very much worthy of your consideration. It's really a wonderful place!
