This is a wonderful place. We placed my mother there. And she loves it. It's a clean facility. The people are friendly. And it is a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is more than helpful. With anything that you may need. And Kathy was a pleasure to deal with. And was extremely helpful for the move in. And help you with any of your needs that you may have. I would highly recommend this from anybody who is looking for a great place for their loved ones.

The staff at Brenden Gardens are friendly, compassionate and ready to meet the needs of their residents. The staff have embraced my dad, from the office personnel to the physical therapist and OT, the kitchen staff, maintenance, van driver, and Hearts and Hands, and they have created a safe, loving environment. My dad celebrated his 100th birthday recently and Brandy, the activities director, far surpassed any of our expectations creating the perfect birthday setting and celebration. The kitchen staff were also outstanding and ready to make my dad's day special. The residents have been so sweet. My dad has met some amazing friends and as a result has expanded his family. My father has been a resident of Brendan Gardens for the last 10 months. Kathy and the rest of the staff are all great. They know each resident and care a lot about their wellbeing. The food in the dining room is really good and has improved since he moved in last April due to the staff listening and responding to feedback from the residents. Similarly, dad was an avid gardener all his life and several other residents have expressed interest in gardening as well so the staff is considering building raised flower beds as a quality-of-life initiative. The maintenance crew responds quickly and can fix anything from a simple cable TV issue to more serious problems that may arise like plumbing or electrical. On a recent visit, dad wanted us to cook dinner in his room's kitchen and, as two bachelors sometimes do, we set off the smoke detector. Two members of the staff knocked on the door within minutes to make sure everything was OK, which really showed me that he is in good hands and gives me and my sister peace of mind. While he sometimes wishes he could still live in his own home, he loves the caring staff and has made many friends with the other residents. Our family couldn't be happier with the decision to move dad into Brendan Gardens!

I have been to Brenden Gardens during one of the events that were hosted. All of the residents were very happy, the food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly.

My father-in-law moved to Springfield from Texas over the summer and he and I did a lot of research into senior living communities in the area. Brenden Gardens was my top choice and eventually became my father-in-law's top pick as well. Kathy was very helpful and stayed in touch with both of us throughout our research period. The family like knowing that our patriarch is in a community where he is able to come and go independently, has access to various resources like physical therapy, has made new friends with neighbors, and my father-in-law enjoys the opportunities to invite us to special events put on by Brenden Gardens.

I moved my Dad into Brendan Gardens a little over 8 months ago. He's met a lot of military service people like himself that gave him plenty of things to discuss. He also reconnected with a guy from his old baseball playing days. He seems to enjoy eating in the dining room and the apartment style living. I have the peace of mind to know he is in a safe place with people around. The staff has been wonderful especially the maintenance staff helping him work his TV. I like how the staff know all the resident's names and the food is very good. I have enjoyed several meals with my dad and even brought his great great grandson to lunch on Memorial Day.

Recently moved our mother into Brendan Gardens. The staff have all been wonderful and very welcoming as well as the the residents who reside there. My mom has only been there one week, but so far the transition has been so smooth. She feels like she is at home. She was able to fit all her main living room and bedroom furniture into her apartment and she keeps telling us, "it feels like I am still at my home." Mom and Dad have lived at Brenden Gardens for 4 months. They’ve made new acquaintances and have had many lively conversations during mealtimes. The quality of food is a highlight as well as different musical groups that come to entertain. It has been a great experience.

First, Brendan Garden has been exactly what my dad needed. The management and staff are incredibly professional. They have also been kind and understanding. Second, due to Brendan Gardens relationship with Agility, my father's mobility, and maybe even his life, was saved. Their OT Kim arrived for an appointment and found my dad's speech slurred. She quickly gave me a call and recommendation to send him to the ER. He had a small stroke. I would have never known if she hadn't been there. Thank you.

I have worked here for a while, and love it. The food is good, it's clean and my co-workers are very hard workers. The seniors here are very enjoyable to talk to. I love my position and still learning new things everyday. If you visit Brenden Gardens in be sure to grab a cookie. 🙂

I think all the staff are very accommodating and when you meet someone in the hall they always speak and very friendly. The food is excellent and the service is great. The food is the best in my opinion. I am always promoting this community to my friends.

I think our Managers John and Carolyn do a GREAT job here at Brenden Gardens! I am very happy living at Brenden Gardens and dont plan on leaving anytime soon. Brenden Gardens is very clean and smells really good. The residents are a friendly bunch of people. Recently the food has been good.

Save yourself some time and trouble and go see Brenden Gardens first! My in-laws moved there a few years ago after we had checked every place in Springfield. Brenden Gardens was the least expensive place we looked at (almost didnt go!) and was also the very nicest!My in-laws love the meals in the dining room with the tablecloths, the many activities and group outings, the housecleaning, the quick response from Maintenance if you need so much as a light bulb changed-everything has been great.John and Carolyn Balota (directors) run a tight ship and it shows. The building and the grounds are immaculate. The staff has become like family. We lost Grandpa last year. Thank goodness Grandma lives in such a caring place. It really gives you peace of mind!

The Christmas Luncheon at Brenden Gardens on Saturday Dec. 15th, 2018 was absolutely the BEST. The menu consisted of Winter salad, Shrimp, Prime Rib, and twice baked pot. fresh asparagus and of course the variety of different beverages to drink. The food was absolutely delicious, ALL OF IT and the service was run like clock work. It truly was a wonderful luncheon and we even received little gifts. Thank you to ALL the Brenden Gardens Staff!

I have made a lot of new friends since moving into Brenden Gardens. There are a lot of activities that go on here. I am thankful to be able to take the bus whenever I have a doctor appointment or any other outing with my granddaughter.
