My Dad lives in the independent living and absolutely loves living here. He also has met a wonderful lady companion here at the “Palace”, as he calls it. He is always busy with activities or just watching a movie. The staff is wonderful! They make you feel very welcomed and at home.

New Perspective was just what my mom needed. It has taken a weight off our shoulders to know she is being well cared for. The staff is kind and friendly, they engage the residents in a wide variety of activities, and the food is tasty.

The Facility is well maintained and our Mom likes it there very much and really likes the staff and caregivers. She complains constantly about the food, for example tonight she had Potato salad on a piece of bread and pasta salad and chocolate pudding. Whp serves this and she gets hotdogs all the time for ehat they pay the food shoild be better.

I have lived here for approximately two years now and am thankful each day that I made this decision! It is wonderful to be surrounded each day with cheerful, helpful people always anxious to help you. Im constantly amazed that they can hire such pleasant people from kitchen help to maintenance to administration! Our daily activities are entertaining and help keep our minds active which is certainly helpful too. This was a wise move and have never regretted it!

My dad is in this facility and has a caring work force that looks out for his well being along with mine for constant care of his health issues. When I have a question it is always answered. Weekly updates in these times of visit issues make it easier to deal with. Facility is clean and well maintained.

First of all the immediate companionship from everyone at the community is outstanding, to expand on that nobody is a stranger. New Perspective Silvis is the third community my wife and I have lived at to assist my wife with her Alzheimers disease. As everyone knows this disease shows no mercy and my wife was at the stage of relying on others to provide total care. We wanted a place that felt like Home and New Perspective Silvis has provided us that feeling of HOME!

This is a good community with great care. We like the staff who are caring. The environment is nice and he is pleased with the nice menu of the meals with a good variety. They offer him activities that he is participating at the time with the other residents. The is the care that we have needed. We would recommend this community for the care of a loved one.

I like this community for the care of my family member. She is very happy with the staff and is making new friends are moving in. She is enjoying the food but she feels that it does take too long to get your meal. She does like the activities that she is enjoying. She is allowed to play the piano that they have. She would recommend this community to other families for the care and the value.

Both of my parents started out in Assisted Living at the Lighthouse before they both moved on to Alzheimer's unit (Betty's Harbor). My family has been very pleased with the care both of our parents have received. The facility is clean and the employees are friendly. Highly recommend!
