Storypoint & their staff are second to NONE! BY FAR, the best assisted living facility in the Joliet/Chicago Area. Their focus on the details for your loved one’s needs are exceptional! They listen, they work with you to plan your lives one’s care, THEN they execute! You can tell, each department works seamlessly with other departments as a fine oiled machine to make their residents feel well taken care of & cater, individually to any change necessary. You see VERY HAPPY elderlies ENJOYING the last phase of their lives. It’s very moving! THANK YOU CRYSTAL, CAMILLE, HOPE, KEIRRA, ROXANNE & the rest of your wonderful staff! Moving my mom from her home to an assisted living facility was not only emotional but also a very difficult decision. From the first moment I entered StoryPoint and met with Sarah....I knew this was the place for her. It was the BEST decision I made for my mom. Every time I speak with my mom, she is telling me what she did that day, the food, the residents and not to mention the wonderful staff. She loves it at StoryPoint!

Best decision my mother made was moving to Senior Star at Weber Place. After my father passed away we wanted to find a spot that was closer to me but where my mom could still live independently. They offer many activities for seniors to socialize and stay busy. The staff has been phenomenal.

My dad lived her for 5 years and he thrived at Senior Star. The management and staff were the best. From the first day he moved in to the day he passed, they treated him like family. I just wanted to take a moment to share in memory of my dad and to say thank you for all the wonderful years!

My mother has been at Senior Star at Weber Place for 7 years and it has evolved over the years to be the best place I could imagine with the employees who go above and beyond. I am proud my Mom can call it home!

Both mom and dad spent time at Senior Star, first in independent living together and then in assisted living together.. Ultimately, we moved mom to the Memory Care housing at Senior Star, and she lived the balance of her life there. We found the staff across the board to be tremendously caring. There were occasional challenges with response team but, ultimately, we were grateful for the staff - they eased worried minds. This wasnt an inexpensive venture but worth the investment in the well-being of our parents.

Senior Star really out shines other communities Ive looked at because of how caring the staff is. They go out of their way for their associates and I love hearing people say that they love where they work. Makes me feel like I know my family is cared for and receiving the best because they really enjoy what they do. Check Senior Star out! It is a great place!

Senior Star has always felt like "home" to me. The care and compassion that we provide to our residents far exceeds anything I've ever experienced at other facilities. I could not say more about the kind, compassionate and attentive staff. They will go the extra mile for residents and families. I worked there and the team work is second to none. Some of my best friends were the wonderful residents. I would recommend this community to everyone! So many programs, amazing food and it truly is a great place to work!

My mom lived at Senior Star at Weber Place for 1 year and 2 months before her death. She had a lovely room set up similar to her home prior to moving in. She made many new friends at Senior Star. To her surprise she also knew many of the residents when she first moved in. She was very well taken care of by the staff from the moment of first looking at Senior Star, to the layout of her rooms, to her move in, during her living there until we moved her belongings out as she had passed there with a Senior Star nurse at her side. In the beginning and until she started to fail and started passing from this life; she was very social, enjoyed conversing with her new friends. enjoyed the social activities, and enjoyed her new home. It allowed myself to know someone was always around my mom in case she needed assistance with anything as opposed to living by herself and the constant worry about her. It is really a lovely place to live.

Senior Star is a One of a Kind place, George Vera walked us thru the facility with such Great passion and has such a servants heart for each of the people who call Senior Star Home away from Home . The Staff is clearly why it bears the name STAR, their attention to detail for each one is AMAZING! The facility is spotless and the atmosphere alone is so welcoming! My father and mother moved in a few years ago. My mother was transferred to the Memory Care and eventually paid for a private care giver to care for her the last four months until she passed. She gave her one on one Care that the facility couldnt do. Dad is very happy in Assisted Living. The staff is very kind and takes great care of him. We visit him often and at different hours throughout the day/week, just to make certain.
