All of the staff that we have been involved with are incredible And very friendly. The building is decorated nicely for all the holidays and there always seems to be some activity or social event going on. Personally, my favorite is the family Picnic during the summer. The residents are happy, always waving and saying hi when you coming through the doors. Highly recommend!

Ice cold food .our Easter food ham dinner potato and veg was cold and not great.my friend over Monday grill chicken and it came back as chopped up so small and Cold not good. Our Dinning Room was so full of people we had to wait to eat .know we have at breakfast is15 people in whole room.Lunch is 20/to 30 people dinner is the same.we got a New boss in kitchen. She gave use every story But getting taken care of problems. My be We need a Microwave in dinning room .we will Hot******Hot **Food we All love that idea*******it well be Hot and Good !!!!!!!!!!!(it could help us!!!! I love it here.But yesterday we have a women live here and she has a large dog here.And she keep her dog in control/the dog is out of control. He jumped on some one Saturday, and he jumped on me Sunday Christmas day I was push in the wall and fell down hurt my back,and leg,and my head too.I had bad back before I came here not good.(pain)the nurse here never came too see me .what is wrong here.we need help here.Its not what I say or what I do when your in Pain!! In looking for care for a family member I decided to call Heritage. It's been a long time since I've spoken to an employee of a business that is so knowledgeable, caring and honest as a lady named Maureen who I dealt with. Due to my mother in laws specific needs we were unable to use Heritage for my mother in law, though this facility will be at the top of my list when the time comes that we need long term care. After speaking with many consultants at different facilities, Maureen has by far been the absolute best experience for me through our delicate family issue.

Heritage woods is fantastic. They have a dining room that is very accommodating to specific requests. The staff are always friendly and informative. It is very welcoming and has different options for living. They offer studio and 1 bedroom apartments. The also have a cute Gazebo out back, a billiard room, small library / computer room and very large activity room with an oven for the residents to use. The community has a bus to take residents out and about on local shopping trips too. I would definitely recommend them!

I love the Heritage Woods of Plainfield facility for my mom Shirlee Shatro. The facility is very clean and kept up, and it is a nice, newer building. I know I do not have to worry, as she loves living there, and is very well taken care of by the attentive, caring staff. She has her own 1-bedroom apartment overlooking the garden, which she so enjoys. She has made many, many new friends, and she is always busy. She receives 3 wonderful meals per day that she raves about, and snacks whenever they want. They have movie nights, bingo, and other activities and they take the residents to go out shopping weekly. The nursing staff makes certain that all the medications are always correct and distributed as prescribed, as well as taking their vitals. They also have physical and occupational therapy on site as well as doctors that come right to the facility. My mom Shirlee loves the staff there, particularly nurse Tonya who is so very helpful, sweet and caring and now is the Administrator who has taken over the facility and does such a fabulous job of making such great changes to the facility. She is always inquiring if anything needs attending to and makes certain the residents are taken care of. Love this staff! My mom has lived at Heritage Woods Plainfield for three years. It was the best decision we ever made as a family. My mom was nervous and shy about moving but it didn’t take long before she was making new friends, participating in activities and laughing and joking with the staff. As her daughter I have peace of mind now knowing that she’s not alone and there’s always a staff member nearby with a helping hand or just a smiling face.

My Mother has been at Heritage for the past 4 years. Everyone is always kind & friendly as well as attentive to her needs. She loves to play Bingo on Saturdays & go upstairs for the church service on Sunday. There is a bus service for doctor appts & also to go to the local stores. It's a great place to live! I have developed friends that are now like family. Staff are wonderful and I love calling this home. The dining room is like a restaurant. We get three great meals per day. Heritage Woods of Plainfield is a very safe environment, which was a reservation of mine moving in. We are well taken care of. I can go on and on about how amazing Heritage Woods of Plainfield truly is. So come on in for a visit and it would be my pleasure to show you around!

My mother has been in and out of several retirement, independent and assisted living facilities over the course of 15 years. Currently, my mother is the happiest I've seen her in those 15 years. The staff are fabulous, to say the least. The staff have been giving the leadership and guidance to provide the best services to my mom as well as the other residents. My mother has lived at Heritage Woods of Plainfield for the last 3 years and as stated above, she is the happiest I've seen her in the last 15 years.

After a very thorough search for the best supported living facility for my Mother, we decided on Heritage Woods. After taking a tour and meeting with their staff, it was an easy decision. Heritage Woods is always clean, well maintained and has a very home-style feel. The entire staff treats their residents like family. The care, concern and respect provided by the Heritage Woods staff is genuine. We visit my Mother often and it is very evident how happy all of the residents are. I highly recommend this facility.
