Great place, receptionist is always on her cell phone though and doesnt greet you when you walk in or out. Makes the rest of the staff look bad.

My Mother has lived at MSV for over 2 years. My entire family loves it there. Everyone we have met have been very sweet, kind and respectful to her. It is so good to know she is living in a loving place with many who care about her and gives her quality care and great meals. Thank you MSV for all you do. We appreciate you!

My parents were one of the first residents of MSV back in 2009. Nine years ago my dad passed away and I just recently lost mother. Therefore, I have had 10 plus years of a very close relationship with the wonderful staff and the overall facility. The management team, for the most part have been at MSV since the beginning. The nursing team have been great. That says a whole lot! Great team! The caregivers, dining room staff, housekeeping staff and more are special people. Cannot say enough about MORNING STAR VILLAGE!

Morning Star Village is an amazingly warm and loving assisted care facility. My mother lived at Morning Star Village for seven years before passing away in 2017. My 90 year old father is a resident at Morning Star Village now. The atmosphere is bright and cheery and the staff is amazing.

The staff love and care deeply for the residents. They engage the residents in fun activities and always greet them with a smile. I recommend this place for anyone who wants to feel loved and cared for. If I could give more then five stars I would.

My mother recently moved there and I can't stress enough how kind and helpful everyone is. They make you feel at ease. They went above and beyond to include my mom in the decision to live there and pick her own apartment. They are a cut above the rest!!

I work in a LTC facility in Rockford. I can personally say that MSV is one of the very best assisted living communities in the Rockford area. The staff that works there is genuinely compassionate and caring. If you speak to the residents who reside there (I've spoken to many), they will tell you the same thing. And they are the ones to ask! Take my advice and check out an amazing place to live!!
