I want to share about the exceptional service I received while looking into Solstice for my parents. Tanya and Igael were very helpful and thorough in the process since I was unfamiliar with any of it. They showed care and compassion in the entire process. I knew this would be a great place for my parents. Any staff I came across seemed to truly enjoy what they do and that’s important. I would highly recommend Solstice in Palatine.

Fabulous neighborhoodlove this part of Palatine. Very much enjoyed our tour of the entire facility. If my husband & I (late 60s) were in the market, this would be a STRONG consideration! The staff we met were friendly, and the residents appeared to really enjoy living there. Our reason for not selecting Solstice is that I worry that my 92 yr old mom’s needs are more consistent with 24 hour assisted living.

We just decided that the Solstice is a great place for our mother to live in! Despite the outside appearance of the Solstice throwing us off the first time, the staff and overall setup of the Solstice is exceptionally well ran! However, unless you choose the most expensive apartment, the less expensive apartments need to be updated like the other more expensive apartments are! I think everyone should have a great updated apartment regardless of how much money they pay!

Month after month, the service and attention to detail continues to amaze me. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure my Oma (grandmother) and the other residents are safe, happy and cared for. My Oma is a tough cookie when it comes to being impressed, and every week, she shares wonderful feedback about the experiences and events that the staff facilitates. Her current favorite is the Happy Hour event where there is beer, wine, live music and dancing. I'm looking forward to attending the next Happy Hour! I personally experienced the staff exceeding all expectations when my family threw a surprise party for my Oma. They offered us to utilize a room that shared the beautiful outdoor patio. They allowed us to decorate and bring in catering. I was most amazed when Kyle Mitchell, their Senior Business Office Director, came and helped us decorate and setup. Please note that the surprise party was on a Friday night and he chose to spend his Friday night helping us make sure Oma had the best surprise party ever. Kyle even played with my young nephews to make sure they too were having a good time. Who would ever think that you can have a blast at a Senior Living Facility.

Bright and well appointed decor. I toured the community today and it was lovely to see updated colors and wall decor in all rooms. Residents were socializing in various community rooms. It was lovely to see as social interaction is so very important to our well being.

My mom's transformation, after we moved her to Solstice Senior Living, following my dad’s recent passing is astounding. Within days, she went from sad and isolated to cheerful and social. I could sense the positive, welcoming vibe immediately from the staff to the residents. I always imagined that finding a community like this was unaffordable and would cost a fortune. I now realize creating a unique environment like this is about attitude, commitment, purpose, and open communication. Our only regret is that my dad is not around to share in Mom's newfound joy and adventure.

Very uplifting sports club that covers all ranges of sports and is a good time. I’ve been here 13 years and the location is good. Food is okay and the staff is on hands and will always help you. Chapel in the building and stores are close and the staff is very happy. Management is helpful with helping residents clean off their cars.

I moved my parents to Solstice because they needed to be nearer to me due to their health. While the decision was initially one of convenience, it ended up being the best one for our family. All of the staff, including Tanya, Igael, Kyle, Marianne, concierge staff, dining staff, and activities directors became like my extended family along with many of the residents. I couldn’t have gotten through a very challenging year in my parent’s health without the kindness, support, and friendship of all of these caring people. I would recommend Solstice to anyone who is looking for independent living in a supportive situation. The activities are well-planned and there is something for everyone. It is always nicely decorated and is a pleasant place to live and visit. I am very grateful to have moved my parents to Solstice.

Have you ever said I have no idea how to do this? Well that was me several weeks ago as I began my journey to find a place for my sister to live. Her friend suggested Solstice and right away I was able to take a tour and spend time with Igael, the Director of Marketing. What an incredible gentleman! Professional, sincere, caring , listened to my concerns and answered every question imaginable! I was so impressed how immaculate everything was and all that they have to offer. They have thought of absolutely everything to make a person feel welcome and secure in an environment that offers a sense of community under one roof. A couple days later my sister and I met with Igael so he could get to know her and help with deciding what would work best for her living needs. His compassion and gentle manner made my sister feel so comfortable! We were introduced to many of the staff and saw all that Solstice had to offer. This was the perfect place! Igael then asked us to come back and have lunch with a couple residents in their lovely dining room. No matter who we talked to they all remarked how friendly everyone is. My sister agreed this was the perfect place for her! Her journey has just begun and she has already brought friends over to show off her new home and take them on a tour. Igael made this experience go so smoothly and I can say what I thought was going to be such a huge undertaking has turned out to be an incredible experience. I am at such peace knowing I have been guided in the most perfect way possible. Thank you Igael for all you have done for me as well as my sister. She is now at home at Solstice.

My family and I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Igael Hamburg, Director of Sales & Marketing, and Solstice. The staff goes above and beyond, they are kind and friendly and care for all the residents like family, and with respect. Igael is an exceptional person. From our first visit, he was attentive, very informative, helpful, caring and thoughtful. He listened to all of our concerns and needs, he provided guidance and offered advice. He showed genuine concern about helping us find the right place for my Mom. He wasn’t pushy and he didn’t put any pressure on us at any time. He continued to stay in touch, checking in with us every so often to find out how things were going and if we had any questions or needed any help. He seemed to really understand our concerns and our goals. Our next visit to Solstice included my Mom. She loved the available apartment immediately. She thought it was cozy and homey and said she could see herself living there. Two weeks later, my Mom is all moved in. She hasn’t been as happy and excited as she is now, thanks to the community that she’s found at Solstice. She loves everything about it, her apartment, the food, the staff, and the residents. She’s making many friends and enjoying every moment in her new home. Igael, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Your help has been invaluable to us and we couldn’t have done this without you. We are grateful for your time, guidance, support, friendship, and kindness. You are the best!

While we ultimately went with a location closer to family, Igeal at Solstice Senior Living in Palatine was terrific. He stayed late to accommodate a tour for us, went out of his way to make us feel less stressed about the process of finding a place and was considerate of our time and budget. I have lived here for over 5 years. Food is good. Quiet 1 bedroom apartments. Cars and pets welcome. Management good. Good prices.downtown Palatine near Jewel walking distance also to banks. We have hair and nail services in building I use and Doctors who visit.a reg and foot. Residents are friendly. Activities are available. Short term stays also. Come in for tour and say Barb 3 sent you. Thx.

I toured Solstice a few times and the amenities were very inviting. The staff were very friendly and gave me their full attention. I enjoyed spending time with them; and felt very comfortable also.

This place is pretty good for the residents. I do believe that the there should be mail rooms on every floor for the more immobile. The food delivery staff is very friendly and receptive. Everytime my Grandpa interacts with them whether he is making a joke or requesting something, he is always accepted with a kind and professional demeanor. I do wish that there was more for the people living here to do, but of course that would require more facilities and staff and thus more money for rent. So overall I like this location. It serves it's major purpose.
