I have a good experience here. Everybody were so nice. When i called the caregivers to assist my client they came right away. Even the nurses are good. They always asking me if i need something. Once in a while they knocked at the door to check up on me and my client.

I discovered this facility while looking for a place to provide outpatient therapy for my spouse who has early stage Alzheimer’s or dementia. Doctors are no help at this stage. Terra Vista was exactly what I was looking for. They offer therapy and helpful information which can improve the quality of life for a person inflicted with this disease. Everybody I talked to or met at the facility (Patti and Erika) were very friendly and helpful. And I would highly recommend them to anyone who is suffering with impaired memory.

I would like to Commend Terra Vista of Oakbrook Terrace and their Staff. My wife has been a resident there for the past 6 years. She is in the Advanced Stages of Alzheimer's and no longer knows who I am and is totally nonverbal. No matter when I visit my wife the staff is always very helpful and attentive to all in There care. I would highly recommend Terra Vista Memory Care Facility when making a choice for your Loved One.

My mom is receiving wonderful care and all the staff members are so incredibly kind. The building itself is clean and well maintained and the courtyard is beautiful. She has a spacious room and the intake process was seamless. My mom was at another facility before and after several tours of memory care places in the area, this was hands down the best place for her to call her new home. I highly recommend Terra Vista.

We found the environment comfortable and stimulating. We appreciated to smaller areas for group interactions. We also enjoyed a meal with residents which emphasized small groups randomly situated and not placed at longer group dinning tables. There was also a variety of activity rooms of gardening, crafts, physical movement. We enjoyed our visit.

Thank you to the staff at Terra Vista for welcoming our Dad, showing him kindness and restoring his dignity from day one! We loved seeing how each and every resident was treated with so much kindness and respect and were so happy he was able to join Terra Vista’s community. In our search to find a place that truly understood how his dementia impacted him and provide him with as much freedom as possible, we toured other residences that seemed to manage their residents through physical means and heavy medications. Touring Terra Vista was refreshing in that their staff seemed to not only understand people with dementia but embrace them and take the time to understand each resident’s wants and needs. Incredible! Ellen was outstanding how she showed off your beautiful home. Being new to finding a home for dad we felt Ellen was incredible helping us understand what we needed to know and providing all we needed. After the tour we knew this was the place for dad immediately! This was based on your beautiful home but also Ellen. Ellen was also key to helping us transition understanding all the confusion and stress for all of us. My wife has been at TerraVista of Oakbrook Terrace for about 3 1/2 months. I have always found the facility to be clean, my wife’s room to be clean, and the caregivers always attentive. They are always calm when working with the residents. The staff has always been available when I have questions to ask. TerraVista of Oakbrook Terrace was recommended to me as a memory care facility, by a friend whose job includes making these recommendations. He didn’t know that I live only five minutes from this facility, but recommended this facility as the place he would have his mother go to, should she need this type of care. And he lives about an hour away. After doing my own research I agreed thatTerra Vista of Oakbrook Terrace was the place for my wife.
