My uncle lives at Casa Scalabrini. He was welcomed from day one. He is so happy to be there and thoroughly enjoys the people and facilities. I am impressed with the facility as it is clean and well run. There is a real feeling of community at Casa Scalabrini between the staff and the residents.

The Receptionist welcomed us warmly. We met our friends who live at Casa and took our dinner with us to a table at the outdoor pergola. We had a lovely time.

I had a very pleasant tour, and lunch in the little bistro cafe. The soartmebrs are bright and comfortable. There is a selection of activities, especially opportunities to get in some low impact exercise. There are trips to various stores on a regular basis. There did not seem to be (besides many in-house movies) cultural offerings nor scheduled trips to plays or concerts or museums.

After sharing our loved one for one year with Casa Scalabrini, both family and resident are very pleased with our choice of caregiver. Having experienced several other nursing home environments prior to coming here, in our opinion, Casa Scalabrini offers the best mix of caring and competent professional caregivers along with a well maintained facility.

Both of our parents recently moved into the Casa Scalabrini Village - our dad is on the independent living side and our mom is on the skilled nursing side. Our family cannot say enough good things about the staff- the nurses and CNA's in the C-wing of Villa Scalabrini are amazing. I will say from experience that having that staff support and knowledge that our parents are well taken care of goes along way to lessen the worry we have experienced during this transition. One of the best parts of the two living spaces is that the wings are all connected so our dad just has to take a short walk every day to visit mom. Highly recommend Casa Scalabrini Village.

My wife had rehab here for 2 months. We were lucky to have some people who are superstars. Victoria a nurse who works hard and always has a smile. She was incredibly kind and caring. The other was Eva, CNA. She was gentle moving my wife. She was always friendly and happy to see my wife and I. We loved hearing her stories. Eric who did rehab with my wife was gentle and kind. He was always friendly and understanding. He pushed my wife without being to overaggressive. These employees were more like family. Take care of these people as they are the heart and soul of your facility.

The Nursing Staff is the best. I also got to know most of the CNA full time staff and had a good relationship. The Therapy staff also worked hard with me and I had a good relationship with them. All I can say is Thank you to the Nurses, CNAs and Therapy for getting me well and taking care of me. I would recommend this facility.

My mom was at Scalabrini REHAB after a hospital stay while she recovered from a heart attack, and low oxygen levels. Admission went smoothly, and she really enjoyed the room and staff. Scalabrini is beautiful and clean! Her nurses and CNAs were very nice and took excellent care of her. My mom has early stages of Dementia and forgets from one minute to the other, so she kept pressing the call light for help. The CNAs and Nurses were always smiling, and willing to help. None of them got frustrated with my mom, and everyone had great patience with her! The PT was great and worked well with my mom. They spent time teaching her exercises and were patient with her to make sure that she could use a walker again. The care my mom received was top notch! Everyone we encountered during this time was extremely professional and helpful. A special thank you to nurse Victoria whom took care of my mother daily, as if she was her own mother. Victoria is a gift to Scalabrini! They are blessed to have her on staff! The food was good, and my mom was given extra food and snacks if she was hungry in between meals. If my mom ever needs rehabilitation for anything, I will make sure that it will be at Villa Scalabrini UNIT A. Although my mom wanted to go back home, she truly felt safe, comfortable, and cared for at Scalabrini rehab!! I personally trusted the staff, and was able to sleep at night when my mom was there knowing that she would be well taken care of. During discharge nurse Victoria took extra time to make sure that I understood everything I needed to take care of my mom, and told me to call the Unit anytime if I had any questions. This is the BEST facility I have encountered while caring for my mother. I wish I could give Scalabrini REHAB UNIT A more than five stars!

My Mom was at Villa Scalabrini since April after her fall. The care and treatment she received in Unit A went above and beyond. Thank you to Victoria, Delilah, Roe, Eva, Mario and others for making my Moms' final journey a dignified and warming experience. From the warm welcome upon entering the building to the beautiful chapel and the many visits, calls and chats with the staff, I can't thank you enough ---there are no words.

The care my mother received during her extended rehab for a broken humerus was nothing short of amazing. There were many challenges along the way and the entire staff treated my mother with compassion. Their goal was the same as ours - to get my mother well. Mission accomplished she has returned to assisted living. Our family is eternally grateful for the care she received at Villa Scalabrini.

The nursing staff provided outstanding care to my father while he was in rehab after a back injury. They made sure he was out of bed and attending therapy consistently. The rooms are clean and maintained. Most importantly, the staff is professional, kind, and caring toward the residents.

Nursing home needs to act faster when someone sick. Took 9 hrs before xray even came to moms bedside. Then 12 more hrs to get result. Mom had pneumonia!!!

Visited brother who will have complex surgery on Monday morning and is very anxious about it! Lynette, nurse for 213 wonderful and very supportive! A few other patients are also, especially Gerardo, who recognized George from the neighborhood my brother was living in. Front desk staff, especially Lulu also wonderful! Saw how difficult it was for me to walk with clothes for my brother and a cane, fractured toes, in the pouring rain, gave me another entrance to use in the future, closer to my car! Would have had five stars, my mother was there for 10 days after being in the hospital 10 days after a pacemaker being put in. That is only 20 days of treatment don't know if it was a money issue or an issue with Medicare. We were given the Assumption it was 30 days total treatment. She was booted out and made the go home on day 20, I don't know what the issue was if it was Medicare or what. She was not ready to go home she lives on her own at 84 years old, at least physical therapy is continuing at home
