I went to visit a friend of mine there yesterday and as we were sitting there at the table he was preparing to eat lunch and the server was absolutely wonderful and I had several people asking me if I wanted anything to eat. I thought that was really nice. Everyone seemed extremely pleasant and I would recommend this place. It is a nice place with friendly staff

I have lived at Blair House for almost a year. The food is amazing, I have great friends here, and the staff here is the best. The Manager is a great person don’t listen to the other reviews. I LOVE IT HERE!

Toured many different places but this was by far the best. Very clean, smells of fresh cookies in the kitchen, lots of great options to fill your day. Highly recommended.

My father-in-law has been at Blair House for about 8 months now, and it’s been a great fit for him. The meals are tasty and varied, his apartment is always tidy thanks to the housekeeping team, and having transportation available as well as home care and physical therapy right on site makes life so much easier. The recent renovation really brightened everything up, and the new landscaping makes it feel welcoming every time we visit. It’s comforting to know he’s in a place that feels both well cared for and genuinely homey - he was even able to bring his dog!

This is a lovely community with excellent amenities and staff. My grandmother has lived here for over a year now and we have seen nothing but improvement in the building. While dealing with a change in the community, everyone has made her feel nothing but heard and seen. We are very excited to see what the future holds for Blair house.

Blair House has been wonderful for my aging father. The community is welcoming, accessible and safe. They have great amenities such as a salon, housekeeping and a space for physical therapy. Full service breakfast, lunch and dinner have made a huge impact on my father’s health. The benefit of being able to bring your family friend (pet) makes this unbeatable.

It is pretty cheap, compared to other senior homes. The food is ok but not great. They could have more food options They are usually short handed. The rooms are ok. They have some activities & some entertainment . They were supposed to clean my room every week , but only do it once in a while, since they are short handed. The bus driver was gone over a month , but they are hiring new driver, but he will only drive 2o hours per week.

I've known the Blair House community for 13 years and would recommend to anyone looking for Independent Living. They have a great and tenured team of professionals that build strong relationships with their residents. Their chef has been there for a long time and goes above and beyond to make the residents happy. Take the time to give them a visit.

I'm very happy at Blair House. The food is good and the staff is caring and helpful when I need some extra help. My apartment is a good size. My neighbors are nice and I enjoy living here.

We love our new apartment with our private balcony. Looking forward to putting out some flowers soon! The staff is kind and helpful. The food is good, and three meals are included in rent price, as well as transportation and emergency medical pendant and ALL utilities including expanded cable TV. Lots of activities and we plan to help plant with the Garden Club very soon on the back patio area. We are very happy to be here!

Nice big apartment sizes. Convenient transportation on the shuttle bus. Laundry room on each floor. Activities are fun. Holiday Meals are outstanding. Bingo, horseshoes, cards are great fun. Staff is very accommodating and maintenance is great. Outdoor walking paths are great for fresh air, and exercise. Beauty Salon, Physical Therapy on site! I’m a happy resident and have been here 3+ years.

I was visiting a friend and had a tour. The place is very nice and the apartments are kept up. There are many amenities and the staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is varied and looks good.

The staff care about the residents. While the building is not the newest building, the staff make up for the lack of not being new. The building is always clean and they take pride in giving their residents the best experience possible.

This is a very good retirement community. The staff is supportive and helpful, and the location in Normal is very good. I am also allowed to have my cat here which is very important to me.

A friend from church invited me to have lunch with her at Blair House several days ago, and what a very pleasant experience. I observed the staff at Blair House to be extremely friendly and helpful, and calling the residents by name. The lunch/dinner was absolutely delicious, and the dining room is beautiful. I'm not kidding when I say the warm yeast rolls were the best I've had in my 77 year old life. Thank you!

Can you really put a price on how well grandma is being taken care of and her animal that keeps her company when she’s not out having a blast at some other part of the facility? Great staff, good food, clean quarters and fresh air!

Great assisted living community. Plenty of activities are available for those who live there. If you are family, there are rooms that can be reserved for you to spend time with your loved ones. There are many nice people who live there, and plenty of nice staff to boot!

My grandmother lived here and loved it, she was referred here by my uncle's mom and dad who lived at Blair House as well. During my grandmother's last days the staff were very helpful and super nice, Amanda went out of her way to accommodate us and I am super greatful for that.
