The Springs at Monarch Landing – Reviews
Wonderful staff and facility. Food is great and Linda at the front desk is always kind and makes you feel welcome.
The Springs at Monarch Landing( Health Center) is hands down one of the the best facilities in the Chicago area. All staff from receptionist, admission coordinators, nurses, resident assistants, and kitchen staff are all superb. Everyone has a smile on their face. No question has been left unanswered. This facility is by far one of the nicest, and cleanest places I have stepped into. Their design makes it feel as if you're at home and i think that is important for a healing family member. The patient to staff ratios are appropriate and seem to allow nursing staff to provided person centered care affectively. I wish I was able to give more than 5 stars for this place truly grateful to have a nursing home of this caliber in so close to home.
The staff are super friendly and always make me feel welcome 10/10 recommend!
I have been visiting friends and family at nursing facilities since 2007 and the springs at Monarch landing is simply the best place I have ever been to, the care, cleanliness and efficiency of the staffs and management is way above anything I could have imagined. Five star all the way to this facility.
The best place I have ever worked This place don’t just talk they do I would bring my momma hear
My mom spent about a month in long term care. The entire staff was amazing! From the CNAs to the nurses, to the life enrichment staff, they treated my mom with kindness and respect, and truly cared about her well being. We cant thank you enough for taking such great care of our precious mom!
I had a great recovery at The Springs. The staff could not have been more pleasant and efficient. I recommend the services to others without hesitation.
I went roller skating with my grandkids but fell hard on March 5th on my behind at the Lombard roller skating rink. I ended up with 3 fractures in my pelvis. After I left hospital they sent me to Alden of Napperville. It was a horrible experience. I ran 103 fever. Got very sick. Ambulance took me to hospital. My kidney infection almost went septic. I got transferred to a miracle rehab. Here at Springs monarch. Is a team of unity in each patient that is cared for ..I got here on early Sat evening and nurse Jackie stayed till she was able to get 1 pain med late In evening.and following day Arnell made sure I got rest of my meds. His sincere dedication to me and my injuries never stops. The nurses aides. Are also working hard as a team. Gloria as well as others. Make sure I get a shower when ever she is on duty. Entire staff. Works so hard to make my experience here a miracle.therapist Knows where I can use the tools they have to heal. Emma s worker I told her I have a hard time sleeping in the mattress I had cuz of fractures in my pelvis. She is addressing this. Also guided me to open a google acct. and her heart is in her work. Food is good. I cant say enough positive things about the facility. THE FACILITY and the endurance the people have here i recommend. To anyone that is looking for a safe place to mend. Their situation. I thank God for being here. I am an active person. I am a cashier at jewel. I miss the energy before my accident but I am grateful therapy and unity will allow me to get myself back!!!
The Springs at Monarch Landing is a wonderful Facility. Our mom was there for long term care. The facility and grounds are meticulously maintained. The care she received from Doctors, Nurses, Physical Therapy, Aides, Social Work was excellent. She enjoyed her time there and the activities too! All the workers and other residents and their families became a second family to us. The food was delicious! I would give them More Stars if I could. . Pre-covid we were allowed to bring our family pet and that was wonderful! From our experience, the Springs of Monarch Landing receives an A+.
I came from a place that had no good service however all I have to say is excellent excellent and excellent.
The food is fantastic. Sydney is the dietician. RAF is great PT guy. Very understanding, got me standing and walking. Other OT and PT were also favorites. Really all the aides and nurses here are very hard workers. I have poor memory for names from my injury or I would list all. Aides Virginia and Lisa were with me night and day, helped constantly 24-7. Bethel and Agata are two very great nurses of the many kind ones. Very kind and gentle. Wish I could recall all names. There was a new aide in training, very very thoughtful. Brown hair with glasses. The two docs were thorough and quickly responsive when my injury acted up at night. Worked with me on my diabetes as well. Facilities were very clean and newer. Emma and Karen of the office spent hours helping my son and I making a move. The transport person supplied great paperwork for my doc appointment. Made all the arrangements, as I was not at my best during my injury. Sorry to leave here. I felt very safe from the pandemic as well.
The facility and staff are truly top notch. The team truly cares for the health, safety, well-being and experience for each patient and resident. The administrator, Beth, is exceptional. She goes above and beyond in every opportunity she can. I would most definitely recommend the Springs to anyone in need for SNF care or long term care.
My grandmother was there for rehab and it was her first time. She was treated great and she was happy the therapy staff was wonderful. The food was great as well. The way your staff makes sure she was happy was great. Tesha check on her throughout her stay and made he smile a lot. I will recommend you to anyone. Thanx for keeping her safe and healthy.
Fantastic place. The Springs has a home like environment. The food was amazing. The RAs were caring. I will be telling my friends that the Springs is the place to be.
Our mother has received kind and loving care at the Springs. We are comfortable knowing they use a proactive approach to her care anticipating changes that are needed. During this period of restrictions, we are extremely thankful for the peace of mind we have knowing our dear mom is well cared for at the Springs.
I have had the privilege and pleasure of working with the talented professional LTC staff at Springs at Monarch Landing for over two years in my professional role. They NEVER disappoint. They are more than the health-care team to their residents and families, they are their family. They genuinely care for and love those they serve. They know each and every one of their residents well (their likes, dislikes, favorite music, movies, activities, their stories). The LCSW, Corrine, is amazing. She always makes sure all goes well because she truly knows and cares about each resident and always has their best interest at heart. She has one of the biggest and most compassionate hearts Ive ever experienced in addition to keen clinical and communication skills. She is extremely thorough and detail minded. Ive often told her Springs is lucky to have her. When I speak to families the heart felt accolades I hear directly from them confirms my adoration and respect for this fine community. Families continually tell me how grateful they are to the LTC team (ALL OF THEM MSW, NURSING, CNAs, UNIT STAFF, LIFE ENRICHMENT, HOUSE KEEPING, MANAGEMENT-LEADERSHIP, etc.) for the great quality care their loved one is receiving and how they feel as though they are their family. Many of the LTC residents have resided on the campus for years, beginning in independent living, aging in place, transitioning to each level of care offered at Springs at Monarch Landing. Partnering with the LTC team has been a such a privilege. There is nothing better than having a care partner that you trust and have confidence in. It brings my team much comfort and reassurance knowing that our patients and families are so well cared for at Springs. We do NOT ever have to worry about their well-being knowing they reside at Springs. They are a great partner and handle high acuity needs skillfully and beautifully, always putting the resident, the person, first. During COVID-19, despite the challenges and strict visit restrictions in place to keep their community safe, families continue to say how they do not know how they would have made it without the love and care the Springs LTC staff show their loved one. It has been so difficult, but the quality care and heart given to their family member by Springs LTC staff has brought much comfort and solace to families during a very dark time. While not being able to visit as they had prior to COVID has been very painful, knowing their family member is not alone helps ease worry, fear and anxiety tremendously. Corrine and the LTC staff work diligently to accommodate multiple virtual visits to keep families connected. The Springs campus continuum, including, LTC, is a place where your family member will be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion as if they were family.
Both my parents resided in the healthcare center at The Springs At Monarch Landing. My mother, for approximately six months prior to her death, and my father for four years. If I could give The Springs 100 stars I would. First and foremost, the staff, from housekeeping all the way up to the CEO are incredible. My mother received top tier medical care and compassion while at The Springs. My father, who still resides at The Springs, receives social-emotional, medical, and dietary care. He gets along with all the lovely residents and hands-on staff. He has told me on more than one occasion that he is at home there. The entire facility is immaculate. I have never once been concerned by the appearance of the facility. The Springs sits next to a lovely wooded area and throughout the year the scenery is beautiful. The proximity to I-88 makes it easy to get to. There is also plenty of shopping and restaurants close. There is a wonderful activities staff that keep the residents active and plan field trips. The social workers, especially Corrine, are indispensable keeping family informed and ensuring residents social-emotional needs are being met. The nursing and CNA staff members like Auggie, Arnell, and so many more take such amazing care of my dad. Beth and the dietitians and chefs make sure my sweets loving father watches his sugar intake. My family and I are so thankful for the care my father is receiving. I looked at many different skilled nursing facilities, but when I found The Springs I knew I had found the best place for my parents. It is so challenging seeing your family members get old, but The Springs has done a tremendous job caring for my loved ones and I get great comfort in knowing my dad is getting the best care around.
My dad was admitted in Springs for about one month He was treated with utmost respect and care and was very happy with the whole staff and facility . Karen Dee in social work department was very helpful and caring and had been in constant contact with us and was updating me about his condition , all the rest of staff Particularly Emma the Nurse , Emma the social worker , and nursing staff Kayla , Kristi , Marika and everyone else had been very helpful. I give thumbs up to springs at Monarch landing .
My dad had a brief stay at The Springs at Monarch Landing following a surgical procedure. During his stay he received therapies to improve his strength, endurance and daily functional skills. The staff was very caring and supportive throughout his stay. The care team was also readily accessible to answer questions from the family. The daily menu plan offered appetizing meal choices. Unfortunately his visit took place during heightened quarantine restrictions due to covid so my dad was unable to fully access all that The Springs has to offer. Thankfully my dad had a first floor room so we were able to visit him at his outside window. In searching for a rehabilitation placement, The Springs at Monarch proved to be a good choice to take care of my dads rehabilitative needs and prepare him for a return to independent living. The family appreciates the help from all of The Springs at Monarch Landing staff.
My mother was at The Springs for physical therapy after being in the hospital. The facilities and staff are excellent and their work with my mother enabled her to return home safely.
The Springs at Monarch Landing Long Term Care has been a wonderful place for my mom to live since she has needed care. Her nurses have all been caring and excellent. I cannot say enough about them! Her aides, for the most part, have been wonderful to her. Mom always says that a little kindness goes a long way. The support staff of the dietician, the activities director and associates, the cleaning and repair staff, the cooks, the front desk workers, and the caring social worker, Corrinne, have all made Moms home at the Springs a good place to be. So many really do care about her and love her. I know that I can talk to someone, and they will really listen and try to help me if there is a problem or a need that my mom has. I am thankful for The Springs at Monarch Landing Long Term Care!
As an employee at The Springs of Monarch Landing, I only have the most wonderful things to say. I came to this facility from another facility where I worked in their memory care unit. It was a big decision to leave there, as I loved my staff and my residents. I weighed all the pros and cons and made the decision to come work as the AM nurse in The Springs Memory Care unit. I have never made a better choice. Working with residents with cognitive deficits is my passion, but working in an environment where everyone around you feels as passionate as you do, is the cherry on the Sundae. I can honestly say that coming to The Springs at Monarch Landing is the best choice I ever made. You will not find staff that is as dedicated to their residents, and administration that is as dedicated to their employees, as you will here. I encourage anyone that is looking for a work home to come and see for yourself. I promise you wont regret it!
This is a great place, my wife has worked there for years-Im always impressed at how happy everyone seems. The campus is beautiful!
My mother has been a Long Term Resident of the Springs at Monarch Landing for over three years. The excellent care from all the Nurses and Staff have helped her to remain stable and happy. Staff goes out of their way to make sure that each resident has what they need and activities to help keep them involved in and become a part of this community. Before this past year, my mother enjoyed eating and visiting with other residents on her floor. The morning exercises and conversation that was lead by the Staff was a particularly favorite part of her day. This past year has necessitated a change to these activities, but the Staff continues to encourage her to work on the Word Searches that she loves and often stops in to see her and help her make phone and zoom calls to family and friends. Exceptional care and consideration is given when helping my mother with her lack of mobility. I often get calls from the Staff to update me on my mothers needs and her care. When I call to make a request or to ask a question, my requests are quickly acted upon or directed to the right person to handle the request. I highly recommend The Springs.
My Mom has been living in the Poplar Household at The Springs Long Term Care for almost two years. She gave up her independence very reluctantly but the staff at The Springs did everything possible to help her adjust. The most important thing to me is that the staff, both care staff and administrative staff, genuinely care about my Mom. They go above and beyond their job of keeping my Mom safe and healthy. One staff member came in on his day off just to make sure my Mom got outdoor time during the summer. I live in another state, so since the pandemic I have not been able to see or check in on my Mom in person. The staff on Poplar keeps me updated and always responds to my calls or questions. I know my Mom has the best care possible. I am so glad that we chose The Springs.
These are difficult times to have a loved one residing in a long term care facility. The administrative staff, nursing staff, and the social services staff have eased our concerns by assisting the family with communication and execution of tasks that we are unable to do because we cannot visit. The social worker has taken the lead of this caregiving team by calling frequently to update our family on the physical and emotional status of our mom. The social worker has been the eyes, ears , arms, and legs for us to gladly carry out any requests or acts of kindness that we cannot do ourselves. The staff at the Springs is our extended family within our mothers residence. Our mom has resided at the Springs for the past 8 years. Comfort, Care and Kindness has been our experience. We could not ask for more. Thank you to everyone at the Springs for all you do for us.
My mother-in-law, Marie, has received rehab at many different facilities, and currently resides in the Health Care unit at the Springs. This is by far THE BEST place, as Mom is safe, comfortable, and thoroughly enjoys the interaction with the truly caring staff!!! My wife and I always sing the praises of the Springs where Mom is really in great hands!
It was good. Therapy had me on bike. The food was so so! All the staff were always nice. Lisa was my favorite!
The food was really good, I liked most meals and they offered alternatives. The doctor William was very nice. Jennifer Ray was sweet and very nice. All the girls here were nice. Therapy was good they are all so thoughtful in helping me along. I thought I did pretty good. Barb the aide was very helpful! Val also was always so busy and always working hard.the room was also very nice. They gave me puzzles to work on during the off time. It was really good. My pain was managed and they have me pain pills when I asked for them.
Staff was wonderful! My stay was good. Therapy was so good, it was intense as it helped me. The therapist see all so great. The food was excellent! No complaints:)
My father was at the Springs of Monarch Landing on 2 separate occasions for rehabilitation, and skilled nursing care. Let me start by saying that the facility is not like any other facility I have ever seen. It is a beautiful facility with an at home feeling. The housekeeping staff is always cleaning and every area is spotless. The nursing staff was amazing!! My father was treated with such gentleness, compassion, and respect. The administrative staff members did a great job keeping my family informed about his progress. It was very comforting to know that my dad was receiving the best care, and that I did not have to worry when I wasnt able to be there. I highly recommend the Springs of Monarch Landing.
Oh boy! The care is out of this world! I would have not done as well in any other place! I am so blessed for the therapy being offered in the building. They are great! For dining, there is such creative meal preparation and presentation with great taste, amazing combination. Such wonderful plates! Thank you Spring, I am so grateful they helped me and other people! Its even so close to my apartment!
The food is good! The nursing staff are great. I suggest for the staff to provide a puzzle everyone to join and bond together. Overall it was a good stay.
The therapy is good. the food is great. Everyone was friendly and kind. The only complain is when they wake me up which may be unavoidable.
I am a current employee at The Springs and I could not be more proud of the Springs Team. Ive never met a more dedicated team of caring individuals in my life.
I thought I was mean because of my pain when I was first admitted for rehab therapy, but the staff here helped me. My pain is managed well! I cannot say enough about the staff on the first floor for rehabilitation. The staff are phenomenal. The cook will even crack jokes with you. The nursing staff are good! My family chose this health center over the 2 other spots. Love the private rooms and showers. Recommendations: The therapy room needs to be bigger. We need more space when working in therapy. The machines are close together, however functional. The therapists are good at their jobs. They care. They strongly encourage you! The progress was amazing from day to day. It surprised me! I did not hurt myself in my efforts.
Mother has been at this facility for nearly a year and we are so very pleased with every aspect of service and care here at the Springs. VERY individualized approach to patients concerns and long term needs. Both public and private areas beautifully decorated and yet a great "homey" feel as well. All personnel professional -- and personable. Mother has been very comfortable here and we have been very comfortable with her being here too. We are very grateful for the Springs and their teams.
