From the first day that my wife and I toured Arbor Terrace Naperville on behalf of my brother, I knew this was the place for him. Each and every employee greeted us with a smile and hello, immediately making us feel welcome. The facility is pristine from top to bottom. My brother can be tough to deal with, but thanks to the nurses, administrators and support staff, he has acclimated well. The positivity and wonderful atmosphere at Arbor Terrace Naperville makes our visits with my brother most enjoyable.

I recently had the pleasure of presenting a program on Carol Burnett at Arbor Terrace in Naperville. I was truly impressed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the wonderful turnout of residents and families at the event! Jose and Christine were incredibly professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about creating fun, meaningful, and educational experiences that genuinely excite the residents. I especially appreciated how they took time after the event to thoughtfully plan future programs tailored to their residents' needs.

We attended an Easter Brunch and it was phenomenal! Chef Blessel is outstanding! They had a spread unlike any other. Fresh fruits, vegetables, salad, pastries, artisan breads, carrot ginger soup, almondine green beans, carmelized carrots, apple crumble, lemon pie, carrot cake, lavender spritz, and more! I highly recommend!

To describe Arbor Terrace as exceptional is an understatement. When my family started the journey in search of a safe, wonderful, loving community for our mother to reside once her Alzheimers progressed to where we were no longer able to care for her safety in her home we spent countless hours and days researching, touring and interviewing many memory care communities in the area. We discovered Arbor Terrace and quickly recognized that Arbor Terrace is in a class all of its own. From the beginning speaking with Kim C, she was so kind and compassionate. I knew she could really feel how difficult it was for our family to make the painful decision to move our mother from her home. Christine D came to meet my mother and evaluated her needs alongside me and recognized quickly how the Evergreen community would allow my mother to thrive. As a nurse myself it was so relieving to make a personal connection with Christine during the transition process. She gave me and my family so much support and guidance. Once we moved into Evergreen and met with Cary M who is head of Evergreen we instantly knew we were made the right decision. The Evergreen staff go above and beyond to ensure our mother is happy, safe and healthy. They immediately address and respond to any concern with genuine compassion. The activities and experiences for the residence at Arbor Terrace are mind blowing! Jose, Maria and Tristann have such a beautiful gift and they share it everyday with such sincerity and genuine joy. It has been 6 months since we moved into Evergreen at Arbor Terrace, her nurses and aides have truly become family. The receptionists always greet us with a warm welcome and with extraordinary patience. The nurses and aides treat our mother as she is one of their own family members. They embrace and recognize the soul and spirit of our mother that still shines, even though much more subtle than years before, she is still there and they see it and share it with us everyday. The facility is always clean and freshly decorated with the changing season. The maintenance staff is quick to handle any repair or assist with adding personal touches to my mothers living space. My mother is thriving in all the ways we hoped and prayed for. She is always happy and is able to engage in a variety of daily activities organized by Maria (who is an angel). Evergreen has given her purpose and a quality of life that she deserves. I can't finish without addressing the food!! Chef's Kiss, superb! Arbor Terrace is far beyond the ordinary I can assure, it's definitely worth every penny! Look no further!

Arbor terrace has been very helpful after a difficult transition to the bridges neighborhood after the sudden passing of my uncle. My aunt has been a more difficult transition with moving, and medical issues. The staff was nothing but supportive of her needs and my needs during this time. My aunt had been there 3 months and is settling in more. She notes she has friends, can’t remember their names but enjoys socializing. Arbor terrace also hosts events for all community members. Most recently a Mardi Gras band and celebration. The staff is very good at getting the community to participate in these events. The band was really great and very interactive with the residents. Jose does a great job with social interactive events for the residents. The nurses especially Veronica has been helpful at coordinating surgeries, medications and follow up appointments. Colette at the front desk is warm and interacts with all the members and visitors as they come and go. The ancillary staff of workers who care and support my aunt has been helpful they are always helpful in addressing any needs we have had. Can’t wait for spring getting outside more and hopefully the ducks i have heard about nesting in the courtyard return. We are very happy here. Thanks.

The staff at Arbor Terrace is exceptional - warm, kind, genuinely caring people. My mom has been a resident here for many years and I've always felt she is safe and well-looked after. I love that so many services are available in-house (doctor, nursing, podiatrist, salon, physical therapy, medication management to name a few.) She has used all of these services and they are all first rate. The facility is beautiful and well-maintained, but by far their biggest asset is their devoted and caring staff. I am so glad to have found such a wonderful place for my mom!

We have just gone through the painful process of my mother passing away. She spent her final days at Arbor Terrace. The love and dignity that the staff proved for my mother helped us to navigate this painful time. Your hope is to find a safe place for your aging parent. Arbor Terrace Naperville treats our loved ones as family. It is impossible to put a price on the peace of mind knowing that they are well taken care of. I want to follow up to share that we have continued to have an unmatched and unbelievably kind experience. There are so many staff members that make Arbor the trusted and loving community that it is. Yan, a nurse for the assisted living area, is phenomenal about informing me of any concerns, fantastic at tracking medication changes, and is the number one reason I am so at ease with the care our loved one receives. Jose, Christine, and the entire engagement team have huge hearts and plan a variety of meaningful activities and outings. Melissa at the front desk has been outstanding with helping facilitate rides for doctor visits. When our other loved one passed earlier this year, the entire staff went out of their way to share their condolences with me and the family. Most importantly, the entire staff constantly checked in our other relative still residing at Arbor. I strongly recommend Arbor Terrace for any family looking for a community that you can trust with your loved one.

I can't say enough glowing things about Arbor Terrace Naperville. The staff is incredible”caring, warm, attentive, organized, responsive”and the facility is gorgeous. My mom started in assisted living but was only there for a brief time before a fall sent her back to the hospital. When she returned, we moved her to Bridges (the intermediate community between AL and memory care) and she has so far been flourishing there. I feel a great sense of wellbeing knowing that she is in a beautiful place where she is so well cared for.

Tess is a truly amazing, loving, and kind-hearted woman who cared for our mom as if she were her own. Every time Tess walked into the room, Marge's face would light up with the biggest smile. That joy and connection meant the world to us. It's hard to find the right words to fully express our deep appreciation for the compassion, attentiveness, and tenderness Tess showed day in and day out. Monsie is excellent, caring, thoughtful and goes above and beyond She has cared for my mom for many years and Mom and the family trust her and the team. My parents moved to assisted living at Arbor Terrace Naperville in December 2020. They received excellent care from all the staff but especially from the AL nurse, Yan. When it was time for my mother to move to Memory Care, she received equally good care from her nurses Rachell and Shanise. My mother recently passed and I was so impressed with how compassionate and caring all the employees were during her transition. .

Arbor Terrace has great people working there. My Mom has been there for approximately two weeks. She had an appointment this morning at 10:30 am. My father picked my mom up to take her to the appointment. When nurse Jennifer came on shift at 3pm, she noticed my Mom had not yet returned from her appointment. She was very concerned by this and called us.. We discovered that my father got lost on the return trip back to AT. We were able to locate them but would not have known to do so without having been alerted by a caring employee. I was very impressed with nurse Jennifer and her actions. Jennifer is a dedicated, caring Arbor Terrace employee and I wanted to share how good this makes me feel that we have found a good home for my parents.

I recently took a tour of Arbor Terrace with Kim, their sales and marketing manager, and was very impressed with the entire facility. She took me around to the three tiers of care and showed me some apartments. They are larger than most and new. During the tour she introduced me to several staff members and they all had a pleasant friendly vibe about them. I am searching for my wife and could easily see her in this wonderful community. My mom moved into an Assisted Living room in December after a fall requiring surgery and as a family, we could not be more happy with the care and attention she has received. She is put to bed each evening by RA Patty with such dignity and support that we know she is getting the attention she needs to continue on her path learning to walk again. Patty is so kind to her during every interaction which puts her family at ease. We can not thank all of the staff at Arbor Terrace for making my mom feel at HOME!

Our mom, Lois, has been at this lovely facility for 14 months. She is happy and has had wonderful care. We are particularly grateful for the loving kindness of the nurse aide named Leslie. Our mom really loves her and she is so gentle and sweet. Yan, a nurse, is another favorite! Her compassion not only for our mom but for us is so appreciated! Christine Dunn is the nurse manager. She has gone above and beyond to attend to so many details related to our mom’s care. Christine, the engagement director, is amazing!!! She really gets to know the residents and they do so many neat activities that I want to join in too! The concerts are fabulous! Christine even dressed as the Easter bunny for cute photos at the extraordinary Easter brunch. The residents here become like family to one another and the staff. We feel blessed for their care.

My mom moved into the Bridges neighborhood early in April 2025 and has had a great experience so far. The facility is clean and welcoming. The staff is so friendly, and they go out of their way to really get to know the residents. They also keep the residents productively engaged in fun activities all day. My mom is genuinely happy there, and it’s great to see her making friends. They are taking excellent care of her, so we are so happy we chose Arbor Terrace.

My parents have just moved to Arbor Terrace within the past month. They had been in another facility for about 3 months and were miserable. We knew we needed to move them to their forever home. We revisited Arbor Terrace and we were so grateful the stars aligned for us to move them in. Since their arrival to AT; it has been the difference of night and day. We can't say anything bad about AT. This is the BEST facility we could have asked for. The staff have been AMAZING. My parents love AT and tell us daily how happy they are there. The food is spectacular...thank you Chef!! The Dining Staff are very patient and take care of their meal needs. The nursing and ancillary staff on every shift check on them and they are so happy with the assistance. The other residents have been very welcoming. The administration staff has been welcoming and supportive. The Receptionists all know the families and the residents. The Maintenance staff is so friendly and helpful. The Engagement Staff has been able to connect with all the residents' needs. The PT staff is very engaging with the residents. The Housekeeping staff is friendly and really maintains the beauty of the facility. The Hairstylist and salon has been a great help too! I hope I didn't leave anyone out. You have all been so helpful and make all of our family more comfortable with our choice. You are becoming a part of our family with all the care and support you are providing! My Mother is very happy at Arbor Naperville. When she presses her call button, someone responds very quickly. And with a smile! The food is excellent andd a tremendous value. Her only complaint is They give me too much! My family is no longer worried about our Mom. It’s great to visit and spend time with Mom instead of taking care of chores that she no longer could do herself. We also know that if she needs help any time of day, she doesn’t have to wait until one of us can get there. The staff are very responsive to any of our concerns. They are great and seem to care about the residents. The community seems to be well managed and is always bright, charming, and clean. The activities are great! There are so many for the residents to choose from every day. My Mother is thriving at Arbor Naperville. You should be very proud of the many wonderful people on staff here. I would give Arbor Naperville a 10 out of 5 stars if I could. They have gone above and beyond. They have a tremendous amount of patience. My dad moved to Arbor Terrace in July of 2024 and we absolutely love it. From the moment we walked through the doors to take our first tour we were treated like family. Kim in sales was so genuine & sweet I knew we were in good hands. The entire staff goes above and beyond to accommodate the residents and their families. They are extremely caring and attentive. The facility is immaculate, well maintained and beautifully decorated. My dad enjoys eating in the bistro & adores the dining room staff. The building is very safe without feeling restrictive. The amenities are impressive and the medical staff & physical therapists are amazing. We especially love the all of the activities & entertainment offered on a daily basis. The calendar is packed with a wide variety of things to attend! Jose, the activities director, is so fun and engaging!! You can tell he truly cares about the residents. My dad was hesitant to attend things at first but Jose made a point of making him feel comfortable and included. He has even streamed a few football games on the big TV in the multi purpose room when my dad couldn’t get them in his room!! The live entertainment is so exceptional my dad rarely misses a concert!! My brother and I attend events occasionally as well. It is such a relief knowing my is receiving We are so grateful!!

This weekend, I had the privilege of attending my first family day with my Mom, who is a resident of Arbor Terrace, and I was so impressed. We were actively entertained and participating for nearly three hours, and as with everything Arbor Terrace has provided for my mom, this event was well planned with all staff participating, even on their day off. I appreciate all the staff did for the families and am looking forward to the next event.

Very nice facility. Always clean & well maintained. Staff members are friendly, genuinely seem to care about the residents and seem very well trained regarding how to care with people who have memory issues. Always patient and kind. I’ve never heard a staff member raise their voice. Food is very good. Lots of activities (including exercise classes) and even events for families. There is a salon at the facility. I feel like my parents are/were safe and well taken care of. I did not feel that way when my dad was hospitalized and it was hard to leave the hospital at night, not knowing what would happen. It is a relief to know that Arbor Terrace is a safe place where parents can get the care that they need and also maintain some independence by attending activities, social events and outings in the community that they enjoy. There is safe outdoor space at Arbor Terrace too. Nobody wants to move their parents out of their home but this is a very nice facility if you have to. So grateful for the compassionate care for my parents!

I’ve had the very difficult experience of having to move a loved one into a Memory Care facility because of Alzheimer’s, and I wish I had known about Arbor Terrace Naperville at that time (I don’t think it was built yet). My MIL has since passed away but it was my experience of supporting her through those years that inspired me to teach movement classes at assisted living facilities. I’ve been teaching weekly seated fitness classes as an independent contractor at Arbor Terrace Naperville since 2023 and I love the whole Engagement Team! They work so hard to offer the residents a variety of meaningful activities every day, always with a smile & positive energy. The residents themselves are the absolute BEST! We have so much fun every week in our seated Zumba or cardio drum classes. From what I see the residents are very well cared for in a nurturing, safe and clean environment. All the staff I come in contact with, from the welcoming faces at the front desk to the caregivers and custodians are exceptional! I highly recommend Arbor Terrace Naperville.

As an entertainer for seniors, I have visited/performed at hundreds of retirement communities over the last 16 years; and I can say with confidence that Arbor Terrace in Naperville is top-notch! I performed there twice this past year, and all the staff I encountered were very professional, very friendly and helpful. Jose, the Engagement Coordinator, genuinely wants to see smiles on the faces of the residents and he scouts for interesting and fun activities for them to enjoy! His helper for our event, Christine, was also excited for us to be there and was very engaged throughout our show. Very comfortable and caring facility:)

I recently lost my beloved mother, who spent her final days at Arbor Terrace Naperville. I cannot express enough how outstanding their care was throughout her 2 year stay. The staff showed immense compassion and kindness particularly when she became very ill, ensuring her comfort and dignity were always prioritized. The recent management change brought noticeable improvements, creating a warm and nurturing environment with improvements in communication and transparency of care. The Certified Nursing Assistants were especially kind and loving, providing the support and care that made all the difference. I am deeply grateful for their dedication and highly recommend this facility to others.

My mother is staying in assisted living Respite for the next 60 days. The staff, nurses, CNA’s have all been outstanding. Not sure how everyone can be that nice all the time, but they really are. Current residents go out of their way to welcome my mother. She has a call button around her neck and no matter how often she presses it someone responds within a minute. Huge difference from the rehab center she was in, where it took hours. Everyone is just as nice to visiting family and friends. The food is fantastic and activity calendar is loaded with things to do. I highly recommend Arbor Terrrace Naperville if you’re considering assisted living for a loved one. Everyone we’ve met or spoke with has been extremely helpful, accommodating and above all very very nice.

From the moment I received his invitation, I knew this would be an exceptional experience. Jose's communication skills were impeccable, displaying genuine warmth and professionalism. He took the time to understand my specific needs, particularly my request for a wooden floor for dancing. Not only did he accommodate this request seamlessly, but he also went above and beyond by assisting in providing a TV for a PowerPoint presentation, demonstrating his attentiveness to every detail of the event. Throughout my interaction with Jose, it was evident that he is not only dedicated to his role but genuinely cares about ensuring the satisfaction of guests. I facilitate music programs at this community on an occasional basis. The staff has me work with multiple groups each time I go. This is a top notch senior living community. They have excellent hospitality, provide great care and service for the residents, and I always feel very welcomed by the staff. More specifically, the life enrichment director Jose Gallegos has been wonderful to work with. He genuinely cares for the well being of each resident. Despite the demands of his job, he has a resident first mindset and places their needs before anything else! I’ve been truly blessed to work with this community and know other places would greatly benefit to observe how things are run here!

My Dad lived at Arbor Terrace for almost 2 years, and absolutely loved it! He made a lot of good friends there and stayed busy with all of the wonderful activities they offered. Christine and Jose, who run the engagement department, were phenomenal! They are so good with the residents and really go the distance to make sure that everyone is included and that everyone has a fun time! The nursing staff and CNA’s always took good care of my Dad. They always knew how to brighten his days! He always felt safe there and truly felt like Arbor was his home/family. My dad lived at Arbor Terrace for 4 years. We couldn't have asked for a better place. I can't comment enough about the wonderful care he received. The care staff including Tess and Isabella were so wonderful to him. We had to move out of town in the middle of his stay at Arbor Terrace. The only way I got through that was with the help of Christine. She was like another daughter to my Dad. When covid happened and I couldn't get into the building for a year, it was so comforting knowing Christine was there with him. I seriously don't know how I could have gotten through that tough time without her or the others at Arbor Terrace who I trusted with not only his physical, care but mental care as well. Arbor Terrace and the care givers there will always have a special place in our hearts.

For the past 25 years, I have been an entertainer for several dozen senior living venues throughout Chicagoland on an ongoing basis(3 - 4 times annually at each venue). Among the best(if not THE BEST) that I have seen during my career is Arbor Terrace in Naperville. Every time I visit to perform for their residents, I can't help noticing how bright and clean it is and how happy the residents are! The activity director Jose and his conscientious staff are very well-organized, highly professional and pleasant to deal with. They are acutely attentive to their residents' needs and constantly demonstrate that they take their work seriously and that they are dedicated to(and truly care about) their seniors(which is very refreshing compared to the apathy I often encounter at many other senior living venues). In short: I would highly recommend Arbor Terrace to anyone seeking a wonderful, caring home for their loved one(s)!

We are very happy with this new facility. The people from top to bottom are very helpful and friendly, especially Jocelyn and Jose. My mom, who was not keen on moving anywhere, has had nothing but positive comments to say about residing at Arbor. My mom has transitioned from the Assisted Living section to the Memory Care, which happened seamlessly. We are very grateful for the help the staff of this facility has given my mother.

My father has been at Arbor Terrace of Naperville for two years. The staff is wonderful, kind, compassionate and supportive. During a recent health issue, in which my father had to be hospitalized, the nursing staff, including Yan ,Melody and Nikki, as well as the aides- especially Isabella and Angel all went above and beyond to make sure my father was well taken care of before and upon his return. My father speaks highly of all of them---they treat him with kindness and respect and warmth. They are truly "good eggs."

My Mother is in good hands all around at Arbor Terrace in Naperville. The care staff does a better job keeping her healthier than I expected. The weekly activity reports with digital images help bridge the geographic distance between us. Kudos to Lauren the Evergreen Activity Coordinator for helping my Mom remain active in body and mind with arts and crafts; I know that makes her happy and I enjoy seeing the finished projects and smiles.

Cheryl, my wife, was a resident in memory care at Arbor Terrace.The facility was spotless and well organized. I have seen over 80 facilities in the US as I worked with a corporation that worked with LTC. The management staff of Lynn, Jacqueline, Cary, Melissa, Dennis and Juan do a fantastic job.They would make sure any request I made was accomplished quickly. Laura, Alinda and Allie were always friendly and helpful at front desk. The care staff is outstanding. Maria, Tom, Ashley, Ferdinand, Said, and a number of them that I don't know their names treat the resident as if they were their own family member. I went to see Cheryl everyday and observed the excellent care that these individuals provide. Arbor Terrace Naperville is the place you want to choose if you want great care for your special someone. My father moved in to Arbor Terrace recently. Our search was exhaustive and difficult. Arbor Terrace was, by far, the best choice we could possibly have made. The staff is indeed very courteous, helpful and caring. Our few dilemmas which we have encountered are mostly administrative. We do not wish to use the pharmacy, and despite all our efforts, we can't get the pharmacy to stop trying to supply us medication and billing us. Jocelyn is being very helpful, but lesson learned, don't let anyone convince you to sign up for the pharmacy, even for emergencies, unless you positively want to use them. Also, we expected a resident ambassador to contact my father. He's been a resident now for two months and has never received a visit. Overall, my father seems happy and the staff has been very attentive. The front desk staff has always been a joy to come in to - always with a smile and an update on my dad. Thanks for taking good care of my dad.

My mom has been at Arbor Terrace since February 2021. Mom can be a bit challenging at times but all the staff are great with her. Tressa, however, is exceptional! Tressa goes above and beyond; using all the ingenuity that she has to get my mom out of her room and to various activities. There are days I think mom is out of her room more than she is in it!! Which is a good thing. Thank you, Arbor Terrace and Tressa, for your all you do for all the residents including my mom.

This is the best senior living facility in all of greater Naperville and beyond. You will not find better staffing any where else in the greater metro area (I know as I met with all of them). Being a medium size facility, they have a strong community warmth vibe. The whole Arbor team goes above and beyond in service; they eagerly work with our family to grant requests. It's Ritz Carlton like service. They are staffed very well, have low turnover, and do not act corporate. They treat each resident (and family member!) with cheerfulness, kindness, compassion, patience and respect. Rockstars include Jocelyn, Alex, Anne, Yan and Lynn. The facility is well taken care of with a cheerful and relaxed ambiance. It's a pleasure to visit my mom here. The best thing I can say is that when my turn comes some day for assisted senior living, I would choose Arbor Terrace for myself!

We are truly grateful for the MANY wonderful, friendly, and helpful staff members who have worked so hard to make my father feel at home. Jocelyn, Alex, Christine, Alinda, Jaimee, Riya, Lori and so many others there have been beyond good to my mom and our whole family. Finding a place for your loved one to be cared for is daunting for you want nothing but the best for your loved one. From the moment I walked in the doors I knew this was the perfect place for my stepmom. Jocelyn was wonderful from our first meeting and our tour along with Alex who also continues to always be there. All of which made me realize without a doubt I was making the right decision. My mother lived at Arbor Terrace for two years. I can honestly say that it is a wonderful place. The staff is professional and cheerful. Everyone is terrific from Alex, who greets you by name at the door and remembers every detail, to Christine in the activites area who truly treats each person as her family, to Jocelyn who coordinates all things perfectly and Maya who helps coordinate billing. Always a joy. Activities are well-planned and the building (only a few years old ) is stylish and accessible. Also important is 1- Arbor is right off of Route 59 and 2- it is close to grocery stores, salons and restaurants which make family visits and outings easy.

Our company (A Clean Start) recently joined forces with Arbor Terrace as the company that moves residents in and out of their facility. I can tell you that as an outsider I am very impressed with them. The staff is always very friendly to our team, the facility is always clean, the rooms are spacious, the public areas are big and well thought out and the food always smells good, although I haven’t tried it (yet). I would feel very comfortable if I had to have one of my loved ones live here due to there personal circumstances.

Beautiful facility with friendly staff. A relative of mine lives here and I am thrilled with the facility. My family and I visited countless places, and this is definitely the one to be at! I'm not old and still would love to live here! It is kind of like a cruise - daily activities, meals that you order off a "menu," parties, many social events, great rooms, etc. They have a courtyard, a salon, a sundries shop and much more. They have outings, a therapy goat came once, they have a weekly happy hour...the list goes on. Highly recommend you check this place out if you/your loved one needs senior living and/or a facility with leveled memory care.

My dad has been in Arbor Terrace Of Naperville for a little over six months. From the beginning working with this team has been great. We were coordinating an out-of-state move, unsure about some medical information, and having our first experience with senior care. The team over there really helped get us situated. Since then my dad has had to go to the hospital twice and Arbor Terrace was wonderfully helpful each time. The front desk ladies are amazing, my dad’s main nurse Liz is one of the most compassionate women I’ve ever met, all the therapists for rehab are spectacular, and there isn't anyone there that I could say anything negative about. Jocelyn in the admissions department walked me through every step of this and found answers to any questions that I have had. I go to bed every night knowing my dad is safe and well cared for.

My Mom was a resident in the Evergreen unit (memory care) at Arbor Terrace. She had dementia, and we moved her there last August when we realized her needs were more than we could accommodate. Arbor Terrace looks and feels more like a hotel than an assisted living facility. It is clean, smells nice, the food is very good, and it is staffed with some of the kindest, most sincere people you will ever meet. My Mom was loved! She received great care, and we felt very comfortable knowing that she was looked after by people that treated her like family. As a nurse, my expectations are high when it comes to the quality of care that my family receives. We could not have asked for a better place for my Mom to call home. My family and I are so grateful for everything that the staff of Arbor Terrace did for my Mom during her time there. I highly recommend Arbor Terrace to anyone looking for assisted living or memory care for their loved one.

Moving my mom to an assisted living facility was one of the most DIFFICULT and EMOTIONAL decisions I have had to make. I had toured an incredible number of facilities until I met Cheryl Ghassan. She was caring, kind and very professional. I felt she really understood and knew how to connect with me without being overbearing. She promised to be there, throughout each step with the move at Arbor and she has been and more. Even through the most challenging transitions, when I was wanting to give up, she took the time to listen and got to know my mom and family. She taught me to be more patient, communicating my needs to the appropriate people. As I got to know and work with some of the Arbor’s directors and staff, I felt their sincerity and my voice actually being heard. We have both grown tremendously in our journey. These individuals know who they are and I pray for them each night for God to Bless them and their families for the work they do. I look forward to seeing both staff and residents as I walk through the Arbor doors each day to see my mom. Their stories, funny comments and kind words fill my soul with warmth, even on the most tiring days. I do wish they would improve their activities schedule, beyond just movies (Some already watch movies in their room) and select card games that only few know how to play. There should be real activities until 7:30 and on the weekends. Families can come and join on the weekends, fostering a true meaning of community.
