My father moved in to Arbor Terrace recently. Our search was exhaustive and difficult. Arbor Terrace was, by far, the best choice we could possibly have made. The staff is indeed very courteous, helpful and caring. Our few dilemmas which we have encountered are mostly administrative. We do not wish to use the pharmacy, and despite all our efforts, we can't get the pharmacy to stop trying to supply us medication and billing us. Jocelyn is being very helpful, but lesson learned, don't let anyone convince you to sign up for the pharmacy, even for emergencies, unless you positively want to use them. Also, we expected a resident ambassador to contact my father. He's been a resident now for two months and has never received a visit. Overall, my father seems happy and the staff has been very attentive. The front desk staff has always been a joy to come in to - always with a smile and an update on my dad. Thanks for taking good care of my dad.

Arbor Terrace is a great place to work. I drive residents to many different activities, as well as to their appointments. I enjoy this time with the residents and I learn so much from them. We look at neighborhoods, families riding their bikes, flowers, and so much more. My goal is to get them to and from their destination safely. It is one of the best jobs I’ve ever had. I also enjoy my coworkers and helping them when needed. We are also getting ready to start another church service and a chance to sing those old favorite hymns like Amazing Grace and Blessed Assurance. Can’t wait. Have a GREAT day!

My mom and dad moved here from Florida almost 2 years ago to be closer to family. Previously we had my mother in law at Arbor Terrace and so we knew right away this would be the perfect Assisted Living for my parents. Their apartment is full of windows, staff is caring and attentive especially Isabella. The dining staff is extremely attentive to the needs of my parents despite the fact that they can be tough customers. Their favorite item is the soup of the day. Maria and Lupe always make the soup piping hot just like they like it.

My dad has been in Arbor Terrace Of Naperville for a little over six months. From the beginning working with this team has been great. We were coordinating an out-of-state move, unsure about some medical information, and having our first experience with senior care. The team over there really helped get us situated. Since then my dad has had to go to the hospital twice and Arbor Terrace was wonderfully helpful each time. The front desk ladies are amazing, my dads main nurse Liz is one of the most compassionate women Ive ever met, all the therapists for rehab are spectacular, and there isnt anyone there that I could say anything negative about. Jocelyn in the admissions department walked me through every step of this and found answers to any questions that I have had. I go to bed every night knowing my dad is safe and well cared for.

Beautiful facility with friendly staff. A relative of mine lives here and I am thrilled with the facility. My family and I visited countless places, and this is definitely the one to be at! Im not old and still would love to live here! It is kind of like a cruise - daily activities, meals that you order off a menu, parties, many social events, great rooms, etc. They have a courtyard, a salon, a sundries shop and much more. They have outings, a therapy goat came once, they have a weekly happy hour...the list goes on. Highly recommend you check this place out if you, your loved one needs senior living and, or a facility with leveled memory care.

My mother lived at Arbor Terrace for two years. I can honestly say that it is a wonderful place. The staff is professional and cheerful. Everyone is terrific from Alex, who greets you by name at the door and remembers every detail, to Christine in the activites area who truly treats each person as her family, to Jocelyn who coordinates all things perfectly and Maya who helps coordinate billing. Always a joy. Activities are well-planned and the building (only a few years old ) is stylish and accessible. Also important is 1- Arbor is right off of Route 59 and 2- it is close to grocery stores, salons and restaurants which make family visits and outings easy.

However, at times , appears to be short staff, somewhat leading to inconsistencies with communication, follow through and thorough cleanliness. Increased diabetic, low cal menu choices and snacks in bistro would be helpful.

Our company (A Clean Start) recently joined forces with Arbor Terrace as the company that moves residents in and out of their facility. I can tell you that as an outsider I am very impressed with them. The staff is always very friendly to our team, the facility is always clean, the rooms are spacious, the public areas are big and well thought out and the food always smells good, although I havent tried it (yet). I would feel very comfortable if I had to have one of my loved ones live here due to there personal circumstances.

We were hired by Arbor Terrace to perform some services at the assisted living and while we worked there for a couple of days in a row we were greeted by their wonderful staff. Everyone was courteous and helpful making things easier for us while we were there. We couldnt stop but be amazed by the amount of care, attention, assistance they show towards the residents there. Everything seemed so well organized the staff and their duties to satisfaction. Their facility is beautiful and they take good care of that as well. Its such a pleasure to work with them and around them. We have worked at so many places but this place stands out. Such a great vibe this place transmits.

I highly recommend Arbor Terrace! Their Bridges program was perfect for my parents - my dad needed care for Alzheimers, but my mom needed only some assistance with mobility. They were able to have a room together, while he received the high quality and direct care he needed. After my dad passed away, my mom moved to Assisted Living there. Arbor continues to provide an outstanding living community, perfect for her. Many, onsite, daily activities available, as well as outings, which keep her very engaged and with others. Ongoing activities on a regular basis for family involvement as well. Staff are friendly, positive, and readily available when needed, very caring. Excellent nursing staff, who promptly assess and make appropriate calls if needed for higher level of care. All in all, Arbor Terrace has helped make my life easier by providing excellent, appropriate care and facilities for my parents, in a beautiful facility very close to home!

Arbor Terrace is a wonderful, caring, loving community for seniors. My mom has lived here in memory care for almost 8 months and it has been an amazing experience. It isnt the shiny new building that makes the place so special, its the people that work there. The entire staff is incredible. Nursing, PT, business office, front desk, dining room and maintenance. Food is outstanding! There are 18 senior living communities within a 10 mile radius now. From our experience there is no competition for Arbor Terrace. Its the staff that makes this place so special.

Dining needs to be looked at, the main course runs out a lot. Not so much fish. Have more desserts for diabetics. Have snacks in the bistro that are for diabetics. Weekend nurse and all staff is outstanding.

Moving my mom to an assisted living facility was one of the most DIFFICULT and EMOTIONAL decisions I have had to make. I had toured an incredible number of facilities until I met Cheryl Ghassan. She was caring, kind and very professional. I felt she really understood and knew how to connect with me without being overbearing. She promised to be there, throughout each step with the move at Arbor and she has been and more. Even through the most challenging transitions, when I was wanting to give up, she took the time to listen and got to know my mom and family. She taught me to be more patient, communicating my needs to the appropriate people. As I got to know and work with some of the Arbors directors and staff, I felt their sincerity and my voice actually being heard. We have both grown tremendously in our journey. These individuals know who they are and I pray for them each night for God to Bless them and their families for the work they do. I look forward to seeing both staff and residents as I walk through the Arbor doors each day to see my mom. Their stories, funny comments and kind words fill my soul with warmth, even on the most tiring days. I do wish they would improve their activities schedule, beyond just movies (Some already watch movies in their room) and select card games that only few know how to play. There should be real activities until 7:30 and on the weekends. Families can come and join on the weekends, fostering a true meaning of community.

My Mom was a resident in the Evergreen unit (memory care) at Arbor Terrace. She had dementia, and we moved her there last August when we realized her needs were more than we could accommodate. Arbor Terrace looks and feels more like a hotel than an assisted living facility. It is clean, smells nice, the food is very good, and it is staffed with some of the kindest, most sincere people you will ever meet. My Mom was loved! She received great care, and we felt very comfortable knowing that she was looked after by people that treated her like family. As a nurse, my expectations are high when it comes to the quality of care that my family receives. We could not have asked for a better place for my Mom to call home. My family and I are so grateful for everything that the staff of Arbor Terrace did for my Mom during her time there. I highly recommend Arbor Terrace to anyone looking for assisted living or memory care for their loved one.

I moved my mom in a week ago. A beautiful facility. The care given my mother has been excellent. They have a lot of activities for the residents so they can stay active. The staff was very helpful and friendly especially Jocelyn and Heather. They made the transition to an assisted living facility easy for my mother. Mom said she likes it here.
