I live here and find that management is amazing. The building is very clean and kept up. Any problems are addressed immediately. Everyone is fair and kind. Warm and positive environment. A lot of growth.

Rent is subsidized. Building is not kept as clean as it was with the old management. Carpets need to be cleaned. Floors need cleaned and disinfected, along with the elevator. Two working elevators would be nice. All washers and dryers working would be nice. Washers/dryers on each floor truly would have been helpful to seniors and disabled (but I doubt that the company really cares about that). The package service is a bit of a mess. We certainly are aware that this is independent living, but don't call yourself "senior friendly" if you can't offer things to help seniors. IT is a hassle to run down all day to see if your package is in. Someone in social services could delivers those to the resident's doors. Yoga classes would have been nice. Not everyone likes BINGO or card games or potlucks. ATM in the building would truly be of help. Also, a change machine in laundry room that took 10-dollar bills. It is a pain to try to find change for the machines if you don't have a car or family here. Old management was the best. Problems were nipped in the bud. Now, it is a confusing mess. Staff enters apartments without leaving a message that they were in. I do not like that at all. The place is starting to smell bad.

These apartments are for disabled and people who are 62 and up. Many people do not have cars or anyone to assist them so simple tasks such as getting change for the laundry is difficult. The office has been told by the group of unrealistic, Un empathic, wealthy corporation, that rolls of quarters(which are needed to do laundry) The laundry room has a change machine but,not everyone carries cash on them and little items that were once sold out of the office can no longer be done. 4 washers and 5 dryers for this entire building is nonsense. It’s often the case that large corporations, often they don't grasp the unique needs of elderly residents. Elderly individuals need more than just a roof over their heads; they require social interaction, emotional support, tailored healthcare services, and a safe environment that respects their independence while providing necessary assistance. Some independent senior living facilities are addressing these needs, but there's always room for improvement (this area lacks that)It’s essential that these companies actively engage with their residents, listen to their concerns, and adapt their services accordingly.

The apartments are clean. Management and maintenance are great. Rent goes by income and includes utilities. Several things keep the complex from being a true senior citizen apartment complex. The laundry room is small and a pain. Washers/dryers in units are more helpful for seniors. Also, a shuttle for those who have no transportation would be of help. Food pantries that bring in food monthly would be nice since it is low-income. A beauty shop on-site would be nice. Some—activities besides bingo and cards. Something of intellectual interest would be great. The complex needs social services to work with all agencies to bring in programs to help those who don't have enough food or need more help. The poor usually get shoved under the rug in this area. The social services in this town and county have little to help seniors. They do not collaborate, and it would sure be helpful if they worked with this apartment complex to help seniors understand what is available to them. Not everyone is from this cesspool of a county.
