We were visiting a friend at this hospital for the first time in Macomb it was a nice little Hospital looks like it's getting a lot of great updates! We pulled up along the side of it and honestly didn't even know it was there until the GPS said we were. The updates are nice outside but the front desk was closed down though so we didn't know where we were going. We decided to take the elevator up to the second floor and we were able to get directed there from the nurses station. Looking forward to seeing it once all the updates are done. My friend had a great doctor, we were able to be in the room when she arrived and she was Very informative and very clear and specific with him. I loved that her main focus was to get him pain free so she could get him back home.

My husband was in the e.r. today for over 6 hrs waiting on 8 stitches in his finger. The e.r. was not busy and we never did understand the wait. We should have left and gone to Graham- next time we won't even bother with MDH. I'm giving 2 stars only because the care was decent once we finally saw someone.

Mammography appt. Exceptional care - I wasn't the best patient but the staff was! I read hospital rcvd an A grade only 8 others in entire Illinois - it's well earned as staff well trained, tollerant and caring. For a small hospital I am impressed, and appreciative, thank U for the great care. Although I do not recommend its primary care clinic.

My husband was in the ER today 10/27/23 with an infection. His care was thorough, prompt and caring. Shout-out to Jenni, his nurse, and the other staff members. His care couldn't have been any better. Thank-you.

I am happy to have MDH close to Macomb. They are trying hard to serve the community though they have some limitations. Please don't stop trying your best. I am a big supporter of MDH and its family.

I had to come here three times this month. Once for my 4 year old who might have broken her wrist (she did), once to see if it was healed ( it was!) and once for myself. This puts me in 4 different locations in this hospital. Every. Single. Location. Was staffed with the friendliest people I've ever experienced in a hospital environment. Wait times were never long (15 minutes TOPS. Less most of the times). The best part was the staff. When I was here with my daughter everyone came to see her. She's a super inquisitive kid so she asked a lot of questions. No one got frustrated or annoyed, they just spoke to her like an adult and explained what everything did. When I came back for my own appointment, I was in and out (including getting labs done) in less than an hour! I do not feel it was rushed, just that my time was valuable. I will be coming back soon and know I'll be taken care of. Thanks!!
