I have been to visit Bickford several, several times throughout the years. My grandmother was a resident a few years back. Bickford of Macomb has always been a clean, caring and warm facility. Robin is a wonderful director and residents and family can always expect to be treated with diginity and respect.

I have been to Bickford of Macomb to visit several times. The atmosphere is very homelike and comfortable. Robin and Alicia are always very helpful. All of the staff are always warm and friendly when greeting me. When I visit, the residents are happy and appear to enjoy living at Bickford.

My father spent a year or so with Bickford Macomb before going into a dementia care unit. The people at Bickford were wonderful with him. They were patient and friendly with him while helping us deal with his transition.

The decision about when, then where to go when the time comes for a loved one to move into assisted living is one of life's big ones. A power outage from a storm at our 90-year-old Mom's house led us to Bickford of Macomb, first for a short stay. Because of the immediately evident caring atmosphere, beautiful home-like setting, and strong team professionalism, that short stay led to Bickford of Macomb becoming home for Mom by her choice. Was it an adjustment? Of course, just right at first. Is she and are we glad she came to Bickford of Macomb for this phase of her life? Absolutely - highly recommended!

As an Elder Law attorney and my county's Public Guardian, I have seen and experienced quite a few facilities. My grandfather is now at Bickford and I can sum up our family's experience in one word - EXCEPTIONAL! I am trained to look for issues, problems etc. - I found none. I haven't heard one complaint from any family member. We just wish that we had found Bickford as soon as he needed a care facility. Truly a first class facility with a family atmosphere.
