I am taking the time to let others know of our experience here. 57 yr resident of area. Former Firefighter . My mother broke her hip and is receiving care here. It has been a roller coaster of events with her health but the staff has been fantastic working with me for her. I am her P.O.A and am very knowledgeable in health and care for her. They have respected my input and worked with me daily. We just had an issue where she needed mediate hospital care and the staff Especially Ms Maria, has done so much to ensure her safety and well being. All of the staff have! She was able to relay the information to me early this morning and we were able to determine the best course of action. This forethought and dedication to the details of her patient proved to be a life saver for my Mom. I am not a easy Man to please especially in the screwed up AMA medical field here in the US. I am certain i do not have to explain that! If you don't understand you have not studied or experienced it yet. You can feel safe having your loved ones go here . Of course you need to be their advocate like anywhere else but you will be relieved once you engage. Thank you from my bottom of my heart for handling this would be nightmare so well today! Bless you Ms Maria and your staff/coworkers. I cannot thank you all enough! Hope to see you soon when she is again ready for your care.

My in-laws moved into a Victory Lakes independent living apartment in 1/2019 and our family has had great experiences with the compassionate staff and beautiful facility since. Following my father-in-law's passing in 2022, my mother-in-law transitioned to the intimate setting of memory care and also experienced the high quality of care in the rehab center. Mom passed last month and as we close this chapter in our lives, it's time to recognize the value that Victory Lakes provided. Over the passed 5 years we were impressed with the consistent attention to the dignity of the individual. Mom and dad never felt that Victory Lakes was a "facility", on the contrary, they felt like family at every level of care. We found the staff willing and available to craft a smooth transition for every change in care. I understand that it is notoriously difficult to staff a care center, however, I found that with open and frequent communication, we were able to address mom and dad's changing needs. Our family remains grateful for the dedicated staff from nursing care, life enrichment, pastoral care, administration, dining services, and facilities management who helped make mom and dad's final years dignified and comfortable.

A moderate-priced community with lots of worship opportunities. It gives the opportunity to be active, live well, and and learn to face death peacefully when the time comes. Through it all, we are not alone.

My wife and I shopped carefully for a retirement community that would meet our long-term needs. We found The Village at Victory Lakes, we signed up, and we continue to be very satisfied with our decision after more than ten years. Importantly, our children and other family are even more satisfied and happy that we chose to live here. We have become enthusiastic ambassadors for the facilities and services here.

I stayed 2 weeks after a complicated surgery on my knee. The rehabilitative care was wonderful with caring staff and 24-hour care. I can highly recommend this facility.

I have come to this community several times since 2016, I have been treated well during each stay. During each stay for rehab I have been able to return home and my usual activities. I feel I am in the most caring and secure place available in the local area. I have been here for post chemo illness, post surgery twice, post hip fracture and now here for long term care care. Even with the staff challenges experienced by everyone now I am being given high quality personal care.

My brother and I moved our mother into the independent living apartments at Victory Lakes three weeks ago. It was a very long road to convince her to move out of her home of 60+ years to an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar faces. Our mother has been adjusting quite nicely to her new lifestyle....a big "thank you" to Michael who guided us with kindness and empathy through the entire process. Her apartment is beautiful and the amenities are wonderful. The staff has been very kind, patient, and accommodating. The residents have bern very friendly and welcoming. Everyone has treated our mother with respect and compassion. We are so impressed with the entire facility, the staff, and the residents at The Village at Victory Lakes.

I was there for about two weeks following major back surgery with complications. I can't praise the staff enough for their caring, kind and professional work. The nurses and techs were angels, and the physical therapists were marvelous. The facility is spotless and the food was quite good. I couldn't have asked for a better environment for recovery and rehabilitation. I highly recommend the Village at Victory Lakes without any hesitation. Make it your first choice.

Fabulous staff, fabulous facility, fabulous food, fabulous services all around. Our Mom is almost 93 and loves living here! We all love it too! The Village at Victory Lakes in Lindenhurst, IL, is among the 19% of U.S. skilled nursing facilities that have been recognized as a Best Nursing Home for 2019-20 by U.S. News & World Report.

I have worked in the Independent Living building at Victory Lakes for over 12 years and it's been a wonderful experience. The residents, the administration, and the other employees are so nice, so thoughtful, and so helpful to each other. It is a very friendly atmosphere. I really enjoy spending time with the residents; they treat the employees like we are part of their family. I think that everyone that lives at Victory Lakes is so lucky. The burden of taking care of a house and a yard is lifted off their shoulders, and off the shoulders of their children. The meals are great. It's like going out to a nice restaurant every day. Everything the residents might need is at Victory Lakes : housekeeping, entertainment, caregivers, a doctor, a podiatrist, exercise classes, exercise equipment, church services, etc. We even have a movie theater, a pub, a cafe, a library. And there are so many nice, friendly people for the residents to socialize with. I have enjoyed coming to work every single day that I have worked, and I hope to be able to work at Victory Lakes until the day I retire. Administrators are always working hard to make Victory Lakes a great place to live, and a great place to work. Victory Lakes was just awarded as a "top workplace in the Chicagoland area".

The Village at Victory Lakes is a uniquely caring and thoughtful facility for my mother. She has lived at Victory Lakes for almost 10 years, advancing from her independent apartment to her current arrangement in skilled nursing. Throughout her time at Village at Victory Lakes she has enjoyed the supervision of profoundly devoted professionals, who have the interests of every resident at the forefront of their daily efforts. As I have grown older, several of my relatives have experienced the care of other facilities. However, I can honestly say none of the other facilities could hold a candle to the superior quality of the Village at Victory Lakes. To all the loving staff at Victory Lakes, I cannot say THANK YOU enough!!! This past weekend we celebrated my Mom's 100th birthday. Because of all the COVID restrictions our celebration became much more challenging, but with the the collaborative efforts between our family and Victory Lakes, my Mom's birthday was a huge success. Again I would like to say thank you!!!
