My father has been in your Respite Care for a month. At first, my family was all very anxious including Dad, not sure if he will like/enjoy staying there. But we were so pleased to say the transition was very smooth, the accommodation and the care given to him by the Executive Director, MD, all the Nursing Staff, dietary, housekeeping, activity director, etc.( if I forget someone) were very kind, helpful and very considerate. He was treated with dignity and respect and well cared for. He said " I can always go to Wellshire". He made good friends with his caregivers and some residents and attended daily activities that he enjoy. Wellshire is clean, comforting, and very caring.We are so grateful for the care that was given to our dad. Thank you to all those wonderful caregivers at the Wellshire in Lincolnshire. As a lot of us would feel, being without a family member in an unfamiliar place is a little bit scary and unsettling especially if the person is a 90 year old man who has always been living with family. Even if it’s only for a month which was the case, it was still overwhelming. But thankfully, the Wellshire team had made him very comfortable from the moment he arrived. Their welcome committee didn’t just end on the first week. Marie, the MSW especially had done a lot for him including running an errand to the nearby Walgreens’s store. The nurses and the CNA’s were all great, very attentive and caring, the maintenance, laundry, dietary department, activity department were all very helpful as well. The room is spacious, and very clean. My dad being a picky eater liked their food as well, the only comment he had was that the food servings were way too much for him. Yesterday, my dad went home very happy and I’m sure that if he needs another respite care, he would not think twice to go back to The Wellshire. They treat not just the resident like a family, but the resident’s family as well. Thank you so much The Wellshire of Lincolnshire, you have a great team of caring professionals who are always willing to give time and care to someone in need.

I found Welshire to be a nice facility and my mother seemed to like her stay there. The staff was very friendly and my mother enjoyed her relationship with the nurses and CNA’s, especially Josie and Rosa. The facility appeared to be understaffed at times, but the on duty employees seemed to be very caring and did their best to meet the patients needs.

Father has been at Wellshire over a month and our family has nothing but good reviews. All members of the Staff are compassionate, caring and helpful. Facility is very clean and well appointed. We were very satisfied.

My mother was recently admitted to the Sheltered Assisted Living section of The Wellshire in Lincolnshire. Of course my family was anxious, hesitant and emotional in executing this transition. We are very pleased to say that the transition was smooth and painless. The staff and administrators were kind, considerate and so very helpful. All of our questions were answered and our needs met in a supportive and compassionate manner. The Wellshire is clean, cheerful and comforting. We know my mother will be well cared for and treated with dignity and respect. We look forward to her time there as a resident filled with loving visits and peace of mind knowing that she is in capable hands and her safety and welfare is of the utmost importance to the staff and administrators alike. If youre reading this, youve decided its time to place a loved one in a facility as caring for them at home is becoming increasingly difficult or a loved one is already in a facility that youre dissatisfied with. Look no further-this is the place. When caring for my dad at home became nearly impossible and really no longer the best option for either of us, I placed him in a facility and removed him two days later. Details are unnecessary. I brought him home, tried again, then, after a few months, moved him into a brand new place very near my home. It was a beautiful building with beautiful patios and landscaping, gardens and a meditation room. Things went well because I was there every single day bathing him, picking up his room, cleaning his washroom, doing his laundry, etc. I never once walked in and found my dad or his room in a condition which could be reasonably expected. I thought perhaps I was too picky or that this was just how it goes. He was there for 15 months when the pandemic hit and I had no access. Within four months he was hospitalized with an awful overlooked, undiscovered, untreated, very avoidable infection. He required a short nursing home stay post-hospitalization. I rejected a couple of nursing home options and told the hospital social worker that I wanted him in a great place regardless of location. She thankfully sent him to Warren Barr and then two weeks later I decided to move him next door to The Wellshire. I was just really grateful to have found a new facility as returning to the previous one was not an option. But it was terrifying. I had never been inside and my dad was being thrown into a completely new home with unfamiliar people and only limited outdoor family visits due to COVID. I neednt have worried. He has lived at The Wellshire for the last eight months and hes never been better cared for or more medically stable. All achieved without the help of family and along with the extra burdens imposed by the pandemic. His hygiene is impeccable. His face is always shaved and his gorgeous white hair is always clean. His white t-shirts are always perfect. They even wash his jackets and blankets. This obvious basic care is not a given at all facilities. The medical staff is always quick to identify and address any health concerns. They have many available doctors or very willingly work with outside doctors and the VA. They have afforded as much visitation as is safely possible. There is a landline in his room which he is usually able to answer or he dials 0 to get the switchboard girl (lady at the front desk) who places his call for him. Their efforts have assisted us in maintaining our bond despite physical separation. My dad tells me that he gets very good service! He is treated with dignity and respect. Great attention is given to keep him engaged and social. Every single employee from front desk, nurses, CNAs, and activity staff treat him like family. The Wellshire is 22 miles from my home and Im happy to drive every single one of them. I have such peace knowing that hes in such capable hands.

This facility is outstanding. The level of care and dedication that the staff provides to their patients is truly amazing. I wouldnt want my family member to be anywhere else! The facility and property grounds are beautiful and always kept clean. The staff is always friendly, professional and welcoming. Truly a great wonderful place! Would definitely recommend.

I Can not thank enough the staff in the Wellshire. What a beautiful building and exceptional staff. My visit during Easter was wonderful. My Aunt was well taking care of and the staff could answer all the questions we had regarding her care.I also, had the opportunity to have dinner and the Food was delicious.My aunt is happy and we are Happy she is. That means we chose well.

Hello Wellshire Team,My wife and I wanted to thank the whole team, all of you made the difficult transition from home to assisted living much easier for my father-in-law. All of you also made his final days easier for him and our family. He enjoyed many people on the staff and I think the feeling was mutual. Janet, Rosa, Esther, Araceli and many others made this much easier for us. Catherine, nurse, was so awesome and had a great attitude. I feel bad that I don't remember everyone's names. We want to also thank management for everything they assisted with. We also appreciate the beautiful floral arrangement we received.

Mom use to live here, and she was here for couple of months. I can honestly say that she was happy, well taken care of, respected, and loved for while she was in your building. My mom was everything for me and I was truly hard to see her fast decline and the new person she became. The staff were very patient, informative, and educated me in the process. I have never seen such caring, diligent, and professional crew like the crew that is in the Wellshire. I would like to say thank you all for the wonderful memories and I feel that this help someone make the right decision for their loved one.

I love the Wellshire! My dad has been there for a couple of months now. Christian helped us with the admission process and was so helpful. It was a hard transition for our family, but I happy we picked this place.

Transitioning into this place but was not easy, but how easy could it be so sell all you possessions and downsize? My dad didn't take it well and it is took a bit of adjusting. Everyone was nice and very helpful, I can say that this helped him call the Wellshire home. Currently he is in a private room and lives comfortably.

I Highly recommend The Wellshire in Lincolnshire not only because it is a beautiful and elegant building but also because of the environment you experience from the moment you walk in. The receptionist greets you an makes you feel welcome right away. The nurses and aides say hi with a smile, answer any questions regarding my Aunt Marilyn specially during the first period of adjustment to the new home. Now, my Aunt calls me every day to let me know about the activities they have everyday and cant wait to go in the outing they have schedule to go to Golden corral Next week!

Excellent place to bring your love one to live. They have great activities programs, good food and great staff. The only down side is that they have a swimming pool that is not being used by the residents. My experience overall has been good.

My father-in-law is currently a resident at this location. My husband and I visit frequently and this community is amazing. I have never seen a group of hard working people. The residents are well taken care of, the food is excellent, the programs are fun, and the environment is safe. I find this community very helpful to me and I have my own private room. The staff is very kind and helpful when providing care for the residents. I need a lot of care, including physical therapy, and thanks to the services I am making progress. We have a lot of activities to choose from like exercise, movies, musical entertainment, many games, especially bingo and community service.

The Ponds is very nice. They have very good staff. I heard that it has recently been sold to a big company so I hope that they maintain the level of care they are providing. The facility is extremely clean, and the food is good.
