The facility was warm and welcoming. The residents were outgoing and friendly. The rooms were beautiful, laid out nicely and had a wonderful view. The kitchen and menu were very impressive. There were plenty of activities and nice spaces. Everything was very clean and well kept.

I can’t say enough good things about Story Point. My father moved in early in 2025, and while the transition wasn’t necessarily easy for him, the staff were just so welcoming and caring and attentive to his needs that he settled in nicely. A special thank you to the executive director, Kristen, who never hesitates to reach out to me with guidance/advice so that we can be proactive on my father’s changing needs. It truly gives me peace of mind knowing such qualified and compassionate staff are helping care for my father.

I have a family member who has lived at StoryPoint Libertyville for the past year, first in Assisted Living and now in Memory Care. The staff at StoryPoint has been fantastic both helping my brother be safe and feel secure and our family as we try to support him. Every person I've interacted with at StoryPoint -- nurses, caregivers, housekeeping staff, restaurant staff, and management -- has been kind, caring, patient, and capable. The staff are all experts and very experienced in helping elders and their families. It gives me and my family tremendous peace of mind knowing my brother is in such good hands. We are very grateful to the staff and management at StoryPoint, and recommend this community to anyone trying to ensure that their family member is treated with empathy, care, and respect.

Story Point is a great place if you want an attentive staff, friendly and responsive team, and an executive leader that is engaged and truly cares about your loved one(s). From the initial visit to working with Kristen on transition plans, the Story Point team hits the mark. My parents went into Story Point as independent living residents. Seeing our parents age is not fun, but is something we all have to experience. We had tried a number of other senior living communities in the Libertyville area, and they were all focused on hitting some corporate financial number than the care of their residents. Story Point is a refreshing change from that exhausting model. They are still running a business, but the focus of their care, attention, and resources are on the RESIDENTS, not the window dressing that rolls up into a financial statement at the end of the month. Meals are actually served on time, hot, and in an efficient manner that allows the residents to enjoy their social time together. We had to transition my father from independent living to assisted living. Kristen, Roterria, and their teams did a tremendous job of providing a transparent and well thought out plan. You can never think of everything, but they came close to that elusive feat! Kristen is a leader that others want to follow. She rolls her sleeves up and gets involved at every level of the business. This is demonstrated by the low employee turnover rate at Story Point. This ultimately benefits the residents who love continuity and a predictable routine. Issues will come up, and Story Point is no different. However, the team at Story Point separated themselves from other communities in their openness to feedback, transparent discussions, and taking action on challenges that arise. They were never defensive and always asked what they can do better. To me, this is a huge positive differentiator in a sea of sinking senior home ships. I fully endorse Kristen and her team at Story Point.

My aunt has lived at StoryPoint for over 2 years. We have been very happy with the staff and the activities. It is wonderful that they have resident ambassadors to welcome new residents and assist with any needs/issues. The staff are friendly & helpful to residents and families. There are some very fun/interesting activities, Happy Hours a few days a week and they get creative with themes. The facility always seems clean and well kept. Kristen, the executive director, is always friendly, approachable, and always had the residents well-being in mind.

My mom used to live at Green Oaks, after living there a couple months they raised her rent so high and The activities weren’t that great so my mom moved to Story Point. My mom is so excited to be at Story Point . She said that the activities are so much fun and even though she has degenerative eye disease she’s still able to do many of the activities. The employees at Story Point are always smiling most of the time they’re dancing down the halls and they’re always very helpful. She also loves that the food is hot and that it all comes out together so that you don’t have to wait for butter or wait for your tea. It all comes out together and it’s hot. She’s lived at two other senior living places and the food was cold and she was always waiting For something that they forgot to bring. It is so refreshing to know that there is a wonderful place that my mom can live that makes her happy. I highly recommend Story Point if you’re looking for a place for your Family to live .

She loved it there though her stay was short, the memories of her comfort and happiness will stay with us forever. My brother lost his home in a fire and was given a life-threatening medical diagnosis the same week. Knowing that he was going to require regular visits to Condell for treatment, and that his prognosis was uncertain, I convinced him that moving into a Senior Living community was probably a wise option. Lake County is blessed to have many high-quality Senior Living communities, so I started researching which offered the best amenities for his lifestyle. I narrowed it down to three in the area, all of which offered transitional options beginning with independent living apartments, progressing through assisted living, palliative and even hospice care, should it become necessary. The amenities at StoryPoint are exceptional. Many that he had no interest in, like group outings, exercise groups, even a poker group! But others that he did--like a well-stocked library, a custom coffee bar, a French chef, and nearby access to walking trails along the Des Plaines river. Matt, their guy in charge of tours, spent all the time I wanted in taking me throughout the facility, introducing me to various staff, and even inviting the Chef in for a visit, since I had shared that my brother was a retired fine-dining chef. I was very impressed, brought my brother for a second visit, and we signed a lease. Storypoint works with CORT furniture rental, who were wonderful working with me to get the essentials, since my brother lost all of his furniture in his house fire. The apartment was quite nice, with a full kitchen and washer and dryer in the unit. Everyone was incredibly kind, especially Matt, Caitlin at the front desk, and Priya, their new executive director. Sadly, my brother was only a resident for about a week, when he developed complications and passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. But, even that was handled with compassion and kindness by everyone at Storypoint, and reassured me that it had been the right place all along. I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone facing the difficult decision to move into an assisted living environment. The facility is lovely, very well maintained, provides many activities for the residents, serves delicious food in a restaurant setting (or in-room for those who prefer) and---most importantly-a great staff who clearly are committed to providing the best environment for your loved ones.

For the most part it's a great place to live good people friendly people but they've got a few problems with Staffing. But for the most part any large business has that. I would highly recommend a visit and check it out for yourself.

What a great place to retire to when things become too difficult for total independent living. Great floorplans. The rooms in each apartment are bright sunny and spacious. The common areas are welcoming and are kept exceptionally clean. Food is mouthwatering. There are a few what are they thinking things in the rooms but the building started as a Abbott holding space for execs moving into the area and waiting for their house to be ready and not as a senior independent assisted living.

While our mom has recently passed, I can say that she enjoyed her time at StoryPoint. She made good friends and was engaged in a multitude of activities. I found the staff attentive, helpful and cheerful, particularly at any time when mom needed a bit more attention and support. A very nice home for our mom and I am grateful for their support and kindness.

My Mom was a relatively long time resident before she recently passed. Mom found a wonderful community to be with when moved there after my Dad passed. The new management has improved the infrastructure greatly and added an increased level of professionalism. I really feel that being in a community like this added years to Mom's life when you compare it to staying alone in her house.

They have turned the page to a new chapter, and it is inspirational... Story Point has transitioned to new management and is undergoing comprehensive renovations to their facility. The community spaces, along with the resident rooms, are now bright, modern and inviting! Perhaps more importantly, however, is the remarkable commitment to care and compassion that is now manifest so fully throughout the community. Jeremy, the Executive Director, along with every member of the staff, has fostered a culture that goes beyond professionalism. The staff is more than capable - they are compassionate. We are so blessed to have found Story Point as a means by which to show mom and dad that we can care for them in the same way they have always cared for us. At the end of the day, that’s the story, and that’s the point.

5 stars is not a high enough rating for Spring Meadows of Libertyville. Denise and Tom made me feel like family from the moment I walked in the doors. This was the best decision I every made. My aging father (86) was getting to be too much for me to take care of and Spring Meadows of Libertyville is everything I was looking for and more. They worked with me and got my dad into has apartment with in 30 days. It's clean everyone from the staff to the residents are so friendly. Looking forward to seeing my dad blossom at Spring Meadows of Libertyville.
