My mom had to be admitted to a memory care facility and Alden estates of Huntley was the best place. My family had the comfort my mom was taken care from the first day of admission. All staff were great everyday and we never had to worry about mom. I know of no other facility that is good as Huntley. From the leadership to front line staff all great. We are blessed that Alden was there to take care of my mother.

My 92 year old mother was here for a couple months for rehab after a fall. They were very helpful here getting her physical therapy and care to help her heal. The staff seemed to me to be knowledgeable and caring. My mother also seemed to enjoy the food, since other people have mentioned that.

Like living in a hotel! Really nice! The staff are very caring, friendly, and take their time with the residents. Nurses are always around and on top of their patients needs. The activities are fun and well planned. Good food and a clean home. Superb PT and OT! The rooms are spacious. The place to be if you need a really good all around place to be!

I moved my dad here during the last week of his life. As you can imagine, it was the most stressful, sad time for us. I requested a private room near the nurses' station, which they got us right away. We were allowed to come as much as we wanted and do anything we needed to make my dad comfortable. The staff was very informative and helpful. They took good care of my dad. Their supervisor, Danielle, even checked on my dad during her shifts. She sent updates and was so sweet to him. I took care of my dad for 5 years and never wanted him to have to go somewhere. That week, my dad declined rapidly. The ease of admitting him, cleanliness of the facility and attentiveness of the staff helped make the difficult choice easier. I would recommend Alden Estates of Huntley to anyone.

What an amazing place this is. I brought my mom here when she came to visit me. She needed rehab and I had no idea where to go. This place had the best reviews so I thought let’s give it a go. We both were so impressed with how genuinely happy and helpful everyone was. The staff know what they’re doing and the activities offered are well thought out and engaging. The food was outstanding, everyone was happy to be there and the overall vibe was so so good. They definitely know what they’re doing here! The care my mom got was so outstanding.

My Mother was in Alden for 4 -1/2 years. She was in memory care with dementia. My Mom got good care there. I visited very often, along with other friends and relatives. We tried caring for her ourselves, but were in our 70's and it became too much for myself and my husband. We were so happy to get her in Alden, Huntley. She formed friendships with other residents and several employees. She quickly considered it home. Whenever I was concerned about an issue, I could call the administrators or nurses, as they gave me their own cell phone numbers, regardless of the day or time. They would address the issue. She had new and clean living conditions and Alden provided outings, activities, and entertainment for her. She went into hospice at 93 years of age and passed peacefully a few weeks later. Alden's hospice was excellent and very caring. I don’t know what we would have done without them. Thank you, Alden.

AGAIN, the Father's Day Brunch (June 15th) was a SPECIAL DAY for the Dads as Terry Dyson made that happen!!! He was extremely personable with the residents and made every one of them feel like Kings during their Father's Day Brunch. He was ensuring all were having a WONDERFUL TIME. I am so glad that Terry chose me to provide music to the residents & their families AGAIN! It was TRULY A BLESSING and a HONOR!! Hope Terry gets RECOGNIZED for his Peoples / Customer Service skills by Alden Court CEO, Vice President and all others that should take notice!! SECOND TO NONE!!!

Terry and his team did such a nice job planning a carnival for residents and their families; there was a lot of thought put into activities and it was well organized. The staff seem to really enjoy their jobs and work well together. They’re a very kind, hard working group, and very personable. This company is lucky to have them.

The staff made me feel like I was not alone and they were there every step of the way to help me heal. Anna and Robin were the starting point with my great care and their whole staff was fantastic. All of the staff took exceptional care of me and I felt safe in their care. I was there for over 6 weeks recovering from a severely broken ankle and felt the care was fantastic and they always took great care of me.

Alden Eststes in Huntley is by far one of the best rehabilitation facilities in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. The common area on the first floor is decorated more like a spa then rehab center” complete with a grand piano and ice cream bar/Caf©, which is open to the residents a couple of times a week. The facility is kept impeccably clean by a caring and accommodating staff. There are several comfortable areas for residence to visit family and friends, as well as a private dining room to accommodate special events. Perhaps the best feature of Alden is the PT/OT staff. As a retired special educator, I had the opportunity to work with many physical and occupational therapists over the years. The Professional therapist staff at Alden is by far The most competent and well versed in geriatric and challenging medical conditions I ever worked with. Bar none. I would highly recommend this facility for any of your loved ones.

This is a beautiful facility. They take very good care of my grandmother. Last year on Halloween they had an event and my grandmother was able to help pass out candy to local trick-or-treaters that stopped by to visit . I absolutely loved it. They really do care about the people who live here

I would like to shout out the Activity Director and his staff for their impeccable job with the variety of fun activities you have to offer to your residents. Many of the activities they facilitate stand out to me but one in particular stood out the most and that was the outing they had when the staff took the patients to eat at Olive Garden. Just to see the excitement in some of the residents face was so heartfelt to watch. Keep up the great work!

My mom needed rehab and long term memory care. She was in 2 other rehab facilities before coming to Alden, and hands down she has received the best care at Alden. The staff is kind, attentive, and patient, which made my mom's adjustment so much easier! Alden offers smaller memory care units, which is a huge plus! The staff engage with the patients (not just when their call light is on) on a regular basis. There are lots of planned activities. I am so thankful for the care my mom is receiving!

As soon as we walked in the receptionist gave us a cheerful hello and the rest of the staff were the same. Smiling, happy, and helpful. And, when a new patient arrived via ambulance, the staff were respectful, kind and courteous. Defiantly gets my vote for a great place for senior residents to live and family to visit.

My mother, now 99 years old, has been a resident here for 2+ years. We have been very pleased with her care. The staff is alert to her needs. Visits are pleasant, as there are nice open spaces to converse, including an outdoor patio when weather permits. The facility and the grounds are kept in tiptop shape. I couldn’t be happier that my 97 year old mother with dementia is a resident of The Courts. For 3 years I cared for her at home, it is not an easy job, but I thought nobody could care for her like I could. (Was I wrong) A doctor referred me to the Courts before mom was going to be discharged from a hospital stay. I was very apprehensive, but thought OK I will check it out. Two years later mom is always Smiling, Happy and most of all Clean! She is happy and content because of the kind and caring staff. Everyone from Administration to Activities and all those in between, the chefs, receptionists, CNA’s and the RNs are wonderful. I couldn’t have asked for more or better!

I'm a musician and entertained at Alden this week. What a great place! All the staff were so kind and helpful. While I was performing , several aides were assisting the residents, whether it be to help them clap along, sing with me, or even get up and dance! I could just feel the love they had for the residents and it was so touching! I can't wait to return!!

My mother entered Alden Estates in early March for rehabilitation after a hospital stay. The entire staff was so professional and dedicated to the recovery process. I will specifically name Heather Giovachini as the one person who went above and beyond. She always made time to help our family navigate the process. She is extremely knowledgeable and was able to clear our minds of worries and confusion. I can’t express enough on how valuable she was to us during our mother’s stay. I was impressed by how knowledgeable the PT and OT therapist were. They got me walking, getting out of bed safely, taking a shower by myself and even climbing stairs much faster than I was told by my neurosurgeon. During that time I enjoyed the beautiful building. I found the food to be delicious and the dining staff to be very pleasant. The place was very clean. Most importantly the nurses and CNA’s were kind and helpful.

I found out very early that the staff and support people are excellent!! They help me survive and I am doing things now that were impossible just a week ago. Joe, one of the Physical Therapist is a no nonsense man that will ask you what you want to accomplish. You tell him and he will do everything you tell him but he will make you do it yourself. He will strengthen you not, baby you!! The staff and support personnel are all professionals and if you have a personal goal, the will help you reach it!! I can’t think of a better place to recover anywhere else in in USA. I give this place my greatest recommendation!!

I stayed for a month of short-term rehabilitation and was very favorably impressed. The care was professional and respectful. The therapists were topnotch and I made excellent progress from a broken hip and femur. And the food was good!! The rooms are adequately sized for personal items. Every day there activities for residents if they are interested I would recommend this facility to friends and family.

My elderly friend stayed at this facility for a month, while participating in a rehabilitation program. The staff was aware of her needs, and treated her in an efficient, professional and friendly manner. I had the pleasure of meeting the Director (Jodie), who took time on several occasions to answer my questions about their operations. My thanks to all of you.

My family member was in need of IV therapy, wound care with a wound vac, and rehabilitation. We were very pleased with the facility and staff. The facility is beautiful and extremely well maintained. The greeters at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. The nursing staff were patient and knowledgeable. Stephanie and Brent were particularly helpful. Always willing to listen and help with any questions or concerns the family may have had. Dr. Laura DaMarco went above and beyond, to pre- certify my family member for surgery. During this most difficult time in healthcare, Alden is not spared as their staffing shortage is noticeable, especially on the weekends. Getting through on the telephone is also a challenge at times, again, due to staffing. My family member was comfortable and well taken care of. He enjoyed the food and joking with every staff member who came into his room. We will recommend Alden and use them again, as the need arises.

I stayed at Alden after I had a leg amputation surgery. I am now a double amputee, so I needed help with daily living activity needs and gained great benefit from their rehab staff/facilities. The facility itself is very nicely appointed, both in the rooms and common areas. At times, the nursing and CNA staff is spread thin, but they are very kind and professional at what they do. The rehab specialists are pros at working on making you stronger and more positive towards having home-life balance again. I had fun joining in with the activities they provided as well! I would recommend this specific facility.
