I've had the most pleasant stay in my two and a half weeks and i would highly recommend for anyone who needs fast rehab and nice living quarters to come to Warren Barr where there's excellent service and such nice staff especially the one I met who i call Ricky Bobby and jolanta and yonny. My name is Sylvie .From the moment I walked through the doors, I knew this was the right place for Mom. The administrator ( Andrea) , the director of nursing ( Laura)and both social workers (Casey and Ebonie). They did an outstanding job helping with my mother's admission and her transition .They worked with me thru the entire process . The facility is spotless, bright, and kudos to the housekeeping and laundry department. What truly sets this community apart is the level of care and compassion. The nurses and CNA treat residents like family”checking in often, sharing laughs, and encouraging participation in activities. Mom, who was once hesitant when she first came but now she is very happy . The nursing team is one of the best : Nurse Yoni, Antal, Nadjanie, Alex Augustin, Violet ,Sarah and Deena always welcome me with a smile Communication with families is excellent. I receive regular updates, and any concerns are addressed immediately with kindness and professionalism. Knowing she is safe, happy, and engaged has brought our family so much peace of mind. If you’re searching for a place where your loved one will be respected, cared for, and truly valued, I will strongly recommend Warren Barr highland Park . Social Services Team is WONDERFUL! I work as a Care Manager for older adults and I've been very impressed with the Social Services team, particularly Ebony Deming. She has gone above and beyond to support both the residents and the their families . Most importantly, I have had several clients who she has helped with the difficult period of transition from home to long term care or the adoption of new, health practices. The Social Services team is accessible and returns calls promptly. Top notch! There are a lot of issues that are out of their control but they do their best to facilitate efficient and complete solutions.

Our family has had an excellent experience at Warren Barr North Shore. My 73-year old mother fell and broke her pelvis and I had to scramble to find a rehab center after her preferred location wound up not having a bed. Choosing Warren Barr North Shore was a gamble, but one that paid off in spades! My very discerning mother has been pleased with her care since day one. She only has warm, kind things to say about her nurses, CNAs, PTs, etc. And as the eldest daughter, I am deeply appreciative of the more "behind the scenes" care that takes place. When we encountered a little hiccup in the first few days, I got a call directly from the director to talk about it. The real rockstar though is Casey Underwood, the team's social worker. Casey has been my main contact throughout this experience and has been on top of my mom's care since day one. She is organized, thoughtful, and highly responsive. We even ran into a personal family emergency which was deeply upsetting to my mom. I e-mailed Casey to see if someone could check on my mom. Casey immediately ran up there herself to talk with her and help her calm down. She has dealt with countless questions and requests from me and never once has she made me or my mom feel like a burden. We are eternally grateful to her and the entire team at Warren Barr for their excellent care and oversight of my mom's rehabilitation process!

Warren Barr provided great relief to my family when my great uncle was a resident in the Arcadia unit for about six years until his recent passing. We knew he was well taken care of and in the safest place he could be with his Alzheimers diagnosis. From the very beginning, when he was initially an elopement risk conniving with other residents to escape to the end of his life, staff were very caring and compassionate towards him and our family during visits. We are forever grateful to Warren Barr for the long-term compassionate care that they provided. Working in the memory care unit is not easy for many reasons and the comfort and care which was provided will not be forgotten.

Doctors are the ones who patients say have a wonderful bedside manner, but I have to rave about Rikki. From day one, she has shown what the word attentive meant. My father has been through some traumatic experiences in nursing facilities. He was placed here after I worked with a hospital case manager to find him somewhere that truly cared. Since being placed at WB Northshore, he is now thriving! His vitals are stabilized, he's gained weight, his speech and confusion state improved by 80% and we feel he's genuinely in good care. They do have some staffing and transportation issues at times but overall WB is a caring and good skilled nursing facility.

Too many nursing facilities and nursing homes get a bad rap I am here to tell You that is not the case with Warren Barr of North Shore the staff from the Directors to the Kitchen staff care about little old me the medical staff Nurses and CNAs take care of us and do it with a smile everyone is so nice I enjoy seeing them everyday and miss them when I don’t they work very hard and I appreciate it Warren Barr is Home to me that’s the simplest way to put it Thank You
