My mother went through a traumatic injury and personal situation as well as two horrible experiences at other assisted living facilities. When were referred to Shepherd Premier Senior Living in Gurnee we looked at their website and met via video conference (due to Covid) with the owners and nurse we thought it was too good to be true. It seemed like the perfect place for my mom with high staff to resident numbers and a home like environment. From the move in day on the staff has been incredible and kind, my mother is very happy there and the environment has helped her recover from her past bad experiences. I am thankful that Shepherd exists and had room for my mother at their facility. You can trust the people at Shepherd to take great care of a loved one.
