I can’t express how amazing this facility is. I looked at ten places before finding Anthology of Grayslake for my mother. She started in assisted living but we knew eventually she would need memory care. The staff is outstanding. They treat my mom as family and is extremely caring. The food is great. The nursing staff is truly the best. They have activities all day and they will encourage all to be involved. My mom was shy and they helped her make friends. This facility is very personal. I was at ease knowing my mom is safe, being well cared for and having fun. Thank you Anthology of Grayslake!

I’m happy to see the community is coming back to its old self. After visiting last week, I can see a positive change with the staff and residents. Front desk was very kind and offered me water or coffee. The new executive director came out to talk with me to see how I was doing along with checking on the well-being of my family. I saw a large group of residents enjoying themselves in the bistro. Much different from how it was a few months ago. It feels like home again. Awesome job! Looking forward to coming around more often again! Best place to be!

IDPH needs to shut this place down. always short staff. management suck. an AL caregiver is stealing residents' expensive stuff but this caregiver has already been sucking executive director's and dir of health and wellness' butts. those three need to go. they are the newer staff to the community and they brought the covid to the building. now everybody in the building has covid--staff and residents. nights never answer the call lights, residents neglected. sad!

I heard about Anthology from another assisted living place that recommended Anthology. I dealt with Lauren who was very knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. Lauren went above and beyond to assist my family.

I moved my mother in two weeks ago, and have not been able to go back and see her due to the COVID-19 virus. However, I know she is in the capable hands of the best staff there could be. They have hung her TV in the wall, assembled a table and have helped her with everything she needs in my absence. 100% recommend!

MAJOR THANK YOU to the incredible team at Travanse for all of your hard work to make the process of moving my mom as smooth as possible. Literally everyone from the executive director to the waitstaff in the dining room has been nothing but exceptional to work with and has had my moms care as their #1 priority at all times. You are amazing! I have been impressed every step of the way as we work through issues large and small to make my mom feel at home and get the support she needs. I am so grateful that she is safe and sound in her new apartment at Travanse and thankful to be working with such an amazing team of caregivers and staff.

I was completely blown away by this community. The staff obviously care deeply for the residents, and treat them like family. The facility is very clean and cheerful, well decorated and appointed, offering amenities and programs for every type of need - from sedintary to active. And I have never witnessed the level of transparency I did when researching the facility. The staff had patiently answered my questions and addressed my concerns. I very much appreciated their willingness to work closely with us in caring for our family member.

Our mother moved to Travanse Living in early December, 2018. As a family we were looking for a facility that had a strong memory-care program; a fresh, clean building; the appropriate staff, resident ratio; an apartment that mom would feel comfortable in; and a warm, inviting environment. We found it at Travanse. The Generations Director loves the residents, is responsive to our family needs, and seeks to be available and visible for all residents and their families. The nurses and caregivers are very kind, loving, and respectful to our mom. As a result mom feels content, comfortable, and safe. While no place is perfect, Travanse Living at Grayslake certainly comes close! We recommend it!

My mom lived temporarily for 5 weeks at Travanse while while waiting for another sister facility much closer to where her daughters live was completed. There can be nothing but positive words for her experience while living in this community. From housekeeping to nursing care to wait staff to everyone else she received nothing be attentive care, kindness and respectful interactions. She cherished the connections she made there with both staff and residents. Highly recommend.
