I visited Asbury Village for the first time and immediately fell in love with the village atmosphere. I got to see residents interacting with each other in passing outside. All staff I interacted with while there displayed total hospitality. They have an impressive list of in house offerings, as well as provide transportation to fit your health needs. I’d recommend anyone interested in switching to a senior living community take a tour!

Asbury Village is such an amazing place! The staff is absolutely incredible. The longevity and friendliness of the staff says it all. My family and I were fortunate enough to help our parents move to Asbury Village in August 2019. The move was seamless and the staff was so helpful. After the death of our Mom in December 2019 we entered the COVID lockdown in March 2020. We were able to move Dad to Assisted Living in Westin Terrace. I can’t tell what an exceptional experience it was. The care and support he received put our minds at ease. Our Dad moved to Westin Terrace for 6 years until his peaceful passing in 2025. The Westin Terrace staff was so amazing with our Dad and the other residents. We witnessed their loving care and support of the residents every single day. Dad participated in events, programs and enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. The support our family received throughout our Dad’s stay was amazing. We are forever grateful to Asbury Village for keeping our Dad independent those last 6 years. Dad loved his Asbury Village home!

My Mom lived at Asbury Village for quite sometime. She lived in two apartments in Wiseman Pollock and then eventually moved into Assisted Living. As far as the facility goes, it was outstanding! It was very clean and always decorated to the nines for every holiday! Always so warm and inviting. I thought the bedrooms were much roomier than other places that we had looked. I also liked the apt. kitchens too - ample room. The dining room served GOOD food and had a good daily selection along with the Bistro. The Staff - from Admin., Finance, Dining room staff, Housekeeping, IT, Maintenance, Physical Therapy, Nursing staff, Front Desk, Sales person, Social gal, Religious personnel, Van driver I am certain I am missing someone so I apologize. I honestly don’t know where they find these kind and warm hearted people. Everyone, and I do mean everyone was so extremely sweet to my Mom. She was an easy person to love but they went over and above - each and everyone of them. The nursing care is who I will brag on the most. Everyone of them had a special relationship with Mom. She adored each and everyone of them. The stories they told about interactions and taking care of Mom amazed me and my sisters. Mom ended up going into hospice at 97. BJC hospice along with the Asbury nursing staff (director, LPN and all of the aides) made the transition so special. They are some of the most caring people I have ever come across and I will remain in contact with many of them. My experience with Asbury has been unbelievable. We lost my Mom a short time ago but if she was here she would be saying the same things. They made a sad situation bearable and filled with love and kindness. Asbury is everything that you want when looking for a place to age safely and stay active and engaged! The staff is warm and genuinely caring and cheerful, the facility is clean, classy and very well maintained. The activities calendar is full of things to do from fitness, to support groups. My mom can even join a painting and quilting group.

I am friends with one of the residents and was invited to join them for dinner in the dining room. The food & ice tea were great, felt like I was at a 5 star restaurant! The staff were very friendly and tentative. Very nice, clean & beautiful place.

When calling Asbury Village this morning to inquire about independent, living apartments and pricing. I was fortunate enough to get to speak to Dayna Who was so wonderfully informative and kind! She was able to set an appointment for me to bring my mother for tomorrow to look at an apartment and I appreciate very much the accommodation of being able to come to visit quickly. I have been to Asbury Village previously and I’ve always found it to have the most wonderful positive vibe.

The employees at Asbury have made the transition seamless for my grandmother. And they took special requests to help make the apartment feel more like home seriously which was amazing! It’s a fantastic place full of activities, new friendships and a level of care that helps me sleep at ease at night. Currently grandma is in independent living and when the time comes we’ve been assured transition to assisted living will be just as easy.

I have attended several Halloween and Christmas festivities at Asbury village, as well as visited friends there. The place is always very clean, the staff is wonderful, and the food smells fabulous. I always see smiles on the residents faces, which tells me a lot.I have recommended Asbury to my mom and Dad as i would feel very comfortable with them living there. The staff & residents are friendly. There are lots of fun activities: card games, happy hours, music performances, etc. There is a chapel, a library filled with materials, an exercise room, and a garden to grow fruit & vegetables! There is a nurse navigator & Weston takes care of more in depth care. The setting is beautiful with deer and othe animals abundant.

Our staff are amazing! Every one addressed us by name from the first day. There are lots of activities to choose from. My husband and I love to go out to eat with other residents. Our dog loves all the green space. We couldn't have chosen better.

I have been following this facility for quite sometime as I have a family member who may need their services in the future. The time and effort put into the residents are priceless. The love, compassion and thoughtfulness shown each and every day through activities and connections made show just how much their staff care about each individual resident. My aunt thoroughly enjoyed her stay at the assisted living facility. They had lots of activities including Cardinal games and plays at Fox theater as well as many activities at the facility. The staff was very helpful and kind. She was allowed to stay to the very end with support from the immediate family and hospice.

Ashbury Village is a place that is full of smiles. The assisted living residents have plenty of fun activities to keep them busy, thanks to a team of dedicated staff who make fun their priority. I am so happy my parents decided to spend their retirement years at Asbury Village. There is transportation to doctor appointments, numerous activities in which to participate, and when a light bulb needs to be changed someone from the Village comes to change it. There are many fabulous meal options, so Mom doesn’t have to cook. When Dad had surgery, he was able to spend some time in the assisted living wing and return to their apartment when he was ready. Being at Asbury Village has given my parents the independence they desire and has given my sister and me peace of mind, knowing that our parents are happy and well cared for.

My mother gets excellent care in assisted living at Asbury Village (AV) in Godfrey. What sets the village apart? Two things come to mind...number one, AV has care for seniors in different levels right up to, but not including, nursing home care. The second difference is in the organizational structure. AV is managed by a volunteer board; the organization is a 501 (c) not-for-profit. This means that the money that would have been pocketed by a corporation as profit reduces the cost of service, is used to enhance the experiences of its residents, or both. There are many other positive attributes to list; however, this is an actively managed organization that promotes the welfare of its residents above profit. Your Father or Mother will do as well there as mine does.

We are very happy with our experience at Asbury Village. My Aunt loves her caregivers especially Rosemary and Jonetta. She has so much fun with the activities and loves George Ann and Susan. Even the housekeepers are kind and loving. I would recommend Asbury to anyone.

My mother has lived both in the independent and assisted living apartments for 7 years. From the friendly, capable, conscientious staff she receives the best care. My mom and dad moved there in 2017. From the first time they had dinner in their beautiful dining room, they met some wonderful friends. There were so many activities and opportunities to make friends. From luaus to birthday parties, entertainers, and outings, there is always something to do. My siblings and I feel very confident that our mom is being given the best of care.

Asbury Village is the place to be! Beautiful location, choices for living arrangements and plenty of fun activities to participate in should you choose. They have a dining room with their own chef who makes delicious meals. Everyone is great who works their always smiling faces to greet you. As I walked in I was greeted with smiles and friendliness. The staff I encountered were very helpful and answered all my questions from activities to dining needs. Throughout the building it was clean and decorative. My overall experience was a 10.

Asbury truly a special place. When you step onto the campus you can see how beautifully everything is maintained and taken care of by the incredible staff.
