Not sure about Brightstar as I haven't had to deal with them a lot. However their caregivers (Lis and Sara) have been wonderful for my wife. They don't just do what is required, but they do all the extra stuff and they treat my wife with so much love and respect that I can't say anything more about them. They have helped my wife regain her life. I love them.

Great home Health Care!! They provide women to clean home, do laundry,. make beds, fix meals and clean dishes, take out garbage, Bathe and wash hair, take you shopping when you can't do these things because health or age keeps keeps you from doing these tasks. And, if you prefer a particular woman because of the better work they do BrightStar does their best to see that you are provided that women. WE TOLD THEM HOW MUCH WE LIKED THE WORK OF JENNIFER RAMIREZ AND WE WERE ABLE TO SCHEDULE HER MORE OFFTEN!. We cannot recommend them enough!

Overall my experience with Brightstar has been great. Karen and Gina made the onboarding process pleasant. They answered all my questions thoroughly. My mother LOVES her caregiver so that alone has made it so well worth it. The only bummer is the fee associated with using a credit card but I understand why they do it. Since the service is great, we are willing to pay it. Would definitely recommend Brightstar to any family looking for some help caring for a loved one.

My family and I could not have been more pleased with BrightStar Care of Barrington & McHenry County. We began needing assistance with just a few minor things for a loved one and they were always on time and consistent in the genuine care and well-being of our loved one. But as passed our needs grew, and here's where I truly saw the depth of the care and genuine concern for helping provide assistance. I have worked with other companies that provide assistance for the care of loved ones, but what really made BrightStar stand apart from the others is they got to know me and listened to me and help me figure out what may be needed before I even knew how my family health needs may change. They knew how to solve the problem before the problem began, and that made all the difference in the world. I could not be happier with our decision for choosing Bright Star for our moms care. When I first researched possible in home care agencies, I called Bright Star first. Karen Pinderski spoke with me in depth about her company, but she went even further and gave me so many possible questions to ask other agencies as i carried on with my search. I as just amazed at her sincere knowledge and help for me because I didn't know where to start. But, after I spoke with her, that was all I needed. I knew I wanted to use her Bright Star. I had to tell my brothers about her and the business, and they too were sold. My mom's caretaker is Janice, and coming from my mom... she is "Really nice and does a lot" for her. Being that I m the only daughter in the family, I had spent my summer going back and forth to my moms house to bathe her. Now, Janice does that for me. And my mom said she is very good at it. My mom is 91, sits in her recliner and needs this help walking (uses a walker). Janice also helps my mom with her Physical Therapy exercises. Mom just finished with the therapists, so I hope she and Janice can continue with the exercises. Janice has also make my mom salads and set up food for her. She also has cleaned the house. I live 250 miles away, and it is very comforting to know she gets a shower each week safely and has her food set up for her. I would highly recommend Bright Star to anyone in need of Sr. Care.

Sara comes to our house 2 days a week to care for my husband Max. She is absolutely wonderful, very caring and capable. He looks forward to her visits. I have a great deal of respect and gratitude for all the employees in your organization. You have been instrumental in securing the help and equipment needed for his needs. With the help of Rachel. We have had the privilege of working with Brightstar of Barrington & McHenry for the past 3 years. No words can express how grateful we are for the quality help we are getting - esp. from Stellar CNA's David N., and Jake H. The care they give to my husband who has had Parkinson's for 20 yrs, is beyond what we thought possible. They treat Larry (and me) like family, looking after his every need and safety - which in turn relieves my daily stress. I trust them ! They are both solicitous to ask us both what extra they can do to help. In addition to the Activities of Daily Living, they take him to Physical Therapy, Doc appts., and occasional golf - no easy task since he is at greater risk for falls. They are innovative, and deal graciously with all of the contacts at Larry's outside appts. They both have an attentive one on one relationship with Larry - and the bonus of shared interest in sports and golf ! we couldn't ask for more!! Our thanks and appreciation also go out to the staff : Gina, Nurse Mgr, Stephanie, Customer Care Mgr. , and Owners Jeff and Karen, who have worked with us over the past 3 years - esp. to meet our increasing needs. We used BrightStar Care to assist us after I had surgery. Karen and Gina made the initial introduction process very easy and comfortable. Stephanie and Cindy were very helpful and friendly. And our caregiver, Kaitlin was spectacular. She followed our routine of how we do things, was extremely friendly and was just an all-around great person. I would recommend them to anyone who needs home help and will definitely use them again.

Your skilled nurses were fantastic, and we can't say enough about Nurse Lillian "Lily", who provided extraordinary and over the top care care for our Dad. She even provided him with her own wedge pillows to make him more comfortable. We, and our Dad, were fortunate to have her for those 3 days. It is with great pleasure that we write a review of BrightStar Care. Our beautiful father was diagnosed with ALS this past September and as he began to lose the ability to care for himself, we as a family did the best we could to meet his needs. After a short time, we became desperate for some help. A friend recommended BrightStar to us so we called and talked with Rachel. Within a matter of days we were assigned a caregiver. We did not have any experience with caregivers, and had no idea what to expect. When our caregiver, Lawrence, arrived at our home we knew immediately that he was going to be as devoted to our father as we were. Lawrence has the kindest manner and made our father and our family feel confident that he was getting the best care possible. Lawrence went above and beyond for us. He even helped us with a plumbing problem. Our wonderful father passed away on November 16, 2022. Lawrence was scheduled to care for our father that day. When he arrived at our home that morning, we broke the sad news to him. He was so upset, and stayed with us for several hours and shared in our grief. He even offered to come back and help us with anything we might need. Lawrence attended our father's wake, which was a great comfort for us, as he had become like family. We will be forever grateful to BrightStar for matching us with Lawrence. We highly recommend BrightStar.
